I know it`s a basic question but I`m curious & couldn`t find older threads w/ the info. I was wondering if the full Moon in Scorpio will be a heavy hitter for those with no Scorpio in their charts. With empty tenth, eleventh and twelve houses as well, what influences are expected? I`m feeling optimistic and energetic. juniperb ------------------ If having a soul means being able to feel love and loyalty and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans. ~James Herriot IP: Logged |

I know what's "supposed" to happen, or the mood, or what it's a good day to do when the Moon is in Scorpio. But as far as how it will affect you if you don't have Scorpio, etc., it's one of those "not an easy an answer" things. If you look at the current Transits to your Natal, you see, it would depend on so many other things going on as well. When the Moon is in Scorpio, it's supposed to be a time to do things with passion, and it's a good time for concentration and focus. It's good for problem-solving and research. If one has Natal Scorpio influences, then it may or may not affect them for the better, but one should be aware of highly emotional confrontations no matter what - from themselves as well as others. I have Merc/Mars/Neptune in Scorpio, and if I stop and sort of "tune in", it's as though answers are COMING TO ME as the psychic vibes in the air are more intense. Think of it as there being more water in the atmosphere - water is a good conductor of electricity. Therefore, even if one is mostly Air, they will feel everything intensely and maybe recoil from others who are too emotional at this time. Again, off the top of my head, if one had a lot of Earth, the Water would penetrate it, making emotions richer and fuller. With Fire, the Water could extinguish it or create steam. The Fire may even warm the Water. If one has a lot of Water in their Natal, it might seem like just another day, but then again, it may make an already emotionally intense person go overboard. Possessiveness, jealousy, etc. If you are not comfortable expressing your emotions, then this time may make you want to hibernate and may seem to have the opposite affect. But in reality, you are just trying to hide your emotions from others or even yourself. It's interesting to think about it. Maybe someone else has other thoughts... IP: Logged |

Astrojunkie: *answers are coming to me* Weird. I feel the same way too. Kind of a putting-two-and-two-together feeling. But I don't feel all needy and emotional like I usually do around a Full Moon; in fact, I actually feel very positive!!! IP: Logged |

I've had a tincture brewing for a couple of months, started it on a new moon in Aries in March. Tonight's full moon is harvest night! Here's what my Pocket Astrologer ephemeris says about the transiting moon in Scorpio, which I'm sure is heightened with a full moon, eclipse, etc.: "Moon in Scorpio is ruled by Mars and Pluto. Mars' influence brings out strong passions and Pluto shows very strong desires. People often get aggressive, critical, impatient and moody. There is a marked increase of intensity and a heightened sensitivity to personal offenses and insults. Remember that Scorpio has a suspicious and secretive nature. Avoid social complications. Beware of jealousy. Watch out for the Scorpio sting. Remember to forgive and forget. Be cautious interacting with the opposite sex; however, it could be a good time for an intense merging with another on a deep emotional level. The moon in Scorpio is a very bad time for surgical operations." And I thought I just had PMS.
