While I'm capable of being quite polite when necessary, I'm generally not too conserned with manners or formality. Diplomacy isn't the same thing as politeness. I'm gonna go with Cancer. Always am ... but then, if someone is mean to me, I am not afraid to give them some right back. I call it being assertive. But bottom line.. I always respect and am always polite.. even when in a bad mood!!! I swear! Even to my family ( for the most part)I am always appreciative when deserved, I will always say thank you and acknowledge a good deed done. So I'm certainly not bashing them. I dunno about Cancers. My husband, brother and father are Cancers and I wouldnt put them into the 'polite' category either. Definitly not Scorp's, although I like and get along very well with them - seem to be a Scorpio magnet. Taurus' are polite, they're usually laidback and nice if you are nice to them. My boyfriend is Taurus Sun and Moon, and just about the sweetest thing you could ever meet. I would have to say Cappies are for the most part very polite too. IP: Logged

(and 4 anger/control Mars.) Im a Scorpio and Ive never blasted angrily at some1 b4 or been really rude and Ive hardly seen other Scorps like that either!! I'd like to offer my mother as an example of rudeness in Scorps. Maybe her mental issues add to this a bit, as she's an alcoholic and a rage-aholic. Bipolar and PTSD (I assume about the PTSD, as it's something I have been diagnosed with due to experiences she was also present for ... see the Karma and Abuse string I started in UC when I first came to LL if you wanna know more) Mom's got Sun Moon Neptune and Mars in Scorp. Mercury and Jupiter in Sag. Pluto and Venus in Virgo. Saturn in Cap. Uranus in Leo. She's a Halloween baby. She is very abrasive, and honestly, most people don't like her. She's never really had any friends that I can remember, and always came home from work complaining that all the Bches she works with are out to get her. She will tell you that she is one of the biggest Bches you will ever meet, and quite proudly so. She gets a lot of enjoyment out of being brutally honest, especially if it makes you squirm. Now... let's look at my sister-in-law. Scorp also. One of my best friends. Not at all abrasive, and has many friends... but I would never use the word polite to describe her. She can be very rude and blunt... but she can also suprise you and halfway through being rude she can change her tune and give you the most heart felt hug you've ever received and tell you how much she loves you. Her moon is in Libra along with 4 other planets. Asc is Pices. She is definately the more diplomatic of the two... but neither are polite people. IP: Logged

She is a very polite child, and always full of compliments. This is just her natural way of being. As I said earlier... I'm not big on formality and manners (although I do insist on "please" and "thank you" as a sign of gratitude and respect). IP: Logged

Autumn wind unregistered	posted June 21, 2004 10:38 PM Just to add, my hubby is a Scorp. He is very polite and too nice sometimes, where people "try" to take advantage of him. He is also too thoughtful if there is such a thing. I actually had to tell him to say no once and a while and not to jump anytime someone asks him something! Don't get me wrong, I love that he's that way, it's just he gets hurt when people don't do the same back for him. IP: Logged
