Ok -

The moment you've all been expecting. The aftermath of my hook-up with Libra guy. With each relationship, I feel I'm getting closer to "getting it". But I'm still drawn to psychologically complicated, emotionally unavailable men.

I mean, even my very first "puppy love" boyfriends in kindergarten and elementary school, were these types! In the 4th grade, my teacher had me tutor the juvenile delinquent of the class. I mean, his dad was a cop, and he was literally a thief. But I could relate to him psychologically better than anyone else, and he would never steal from me. Even the teacher wasn't as good with him as me, which is why she had me tutor him during class.

Apparently, I cannot enter a relationship unless I feel there's plenty of opportunity for both of us to transform on a mysterious spiritual level. I'm not the type of girl who's friends with her ex's. But I am the type who's impression becomes ingrained into his heart in ways which keeps us connected psychically, sometimes for all eternity.

Needed to know if anyone knows of any astrological ties to this. All possible's are:::

My Venus in Virgo is into fixer-upper's & eccentrics.

My Descendant is in Scorpio.

My Mars is in Scorpio.

My Uranus is in Leo in the 4th.

That's all I could think of. As one goes through life trying to get to know themselves better (the neverending journey), we take bits and pieces from our experiences, and I feel almost as if I'm loving the same "spirit" wherever I can find it in different guys. The only thing which keeps me cranking is having faith that I'm getting closer to the physical match for this spirit.

Right now I'm feeling quite optimistic, but, because of the totally weird way the Taurus guy & Libra guy were karmically tied to each other, I feel like I've just broken up with TWO guys I loved, or like I've lost two potentially spectacular friends AT THE EXACT SAME TIME. My Cancer Moon very much wants to turn back. But I'm fighting it.

Thanks...

hi gloria,

One of my motto's is "Like attracts like."
We attract at the level we are at.
We are also attracted to people because of the qualities we see in them, and feel, sometimes unconsciously, that we are lacking. We think they could make us whole or fill a void. I believe for the most part people in your life are reflections of certain parts of yourself. What you see in them, you are also seeing in yourself.
I have the problem of wanting to "fix" people too. (Virgo moon)
But, I've come to the conclusion, that no one else can be fixed, nor should they. We are all at certain points on our own paths. Some people may be able to join you on yours for a little while, others might be able to walk it with you hand in hand. But lessons are always learned through these encounters. And the lessons should be treasured.
Wanting to "fix" people has been one of the hardest lessons I've had to learn, and I'm not completely there yet.
I also feel the relationships I am in must be transformative. Or I feel like I'm wasting my time. (it's probably my moon and pluto in the 8th)

None of this is meant to be directed at you personally, just some thoughts I wanted to share with you.

Stay strong. Don't turn back. Let the past be the past.
"Keep your face to the sun and you won't see the shadows"

The best is yet to come.

Hey Thanks...

I very much appreciate everything you've shared, and also, any impressions you get from reading my babble...

And I wonder if it's just boring to be with someone I can totally predict? I'm claustrophobic - whenever I've been on a date with Mr. Nice & Predictable, it literally scares the shyte out of me. Like, I'll jump out of a moving vehicle.

do u mean u attract men who r emotiomnally starved? many females face this situation. thats because they themsleves are matured and straight forward. it happens everytime between both the sexes. but only those who can provide tend to attract such emotionally starved individuals.

You are right Archer. You are sort of reiterating something Natasha said to me. Need to learn to be "feminine"...

I've always had trouble asking for what I need in terms of emotional nourishment, maybe from my Jupiter & Saturn in Capricorn.

Gloria,

I wonder if maybe your dad wasn't available to you as a young child, or some other close male. If you have not emotionally healed from such a hardship, you will seek out these lessons until you have learned all you need.

Just a thought.

Yes Libra Sparkle -

Of course -
I mean, we learn about closeness with another human being from our parents. If in the formative first 3 years of life one doesn't receive special cues, which actually forms essential neurons in the young brain, then that part is always missing.

Becoming aware is the first step. Becoming aware of the actual yearning, to feel what it feels like, is the next step.

The closer transiting saturn gets to your natal moon the stronger you'll feel the pull of karma/fate honestly it never fails especially with the moon. Think about it we're talking the lord of karma (saturn) what house does the moon rule? Plus don't you have a heavy pluto aspect? is it with venus? that could account for your descriptions above.

For a minute there I was like, how did she know Saturn was coming up to my Moon?

Doi !!

When you say "karma/fate", could you show me the flavor of that? As in?

And is it more important to look at the aspects between planets, and then to look at what sign the planets are in?

Yes. I have Venus Conj Pluto - Neptune Sextile Pluto. So since Pluto is that dark side, and I have those ... OOOOHHHH ... I just got it. In terms of lovers it's important because Venus & Neptune are the dreamy & romantic.

... wow ...

... maybe the transit of Saturn on my Moon in the 3rd will be the key that will FINALLY unlock my book(s), since the missing ingredient from my final draft has been ME. Especially the emotional me. Cool...

aj, I love the way you write. You put things into words in a way that makes them very down to earth and understandable.

LaLa -

I've been looking for you on & off in chat. Haven't caught up with you...

Purplezen -

Why, thank you very much! I noticed a little more of myself coming through my writing as well. This is good.
