Is age a factor in astrology? I am 18 and I can relate to my birthchart, but then there are other desriptions that seem way off (like my gemini in venus). I can not relate to my gemini in venus and some other characteristics in my chart. Is this normal? Is this because of my age? Or any comments and opinions? I appreciate any of your ideasIP: Logged |

He's talking about Progressions. I don't understand it very well, but there's different kinds, and some people are really good at it. It's like a forecasting too, or can be. Or what they call Horary Astrology.IP: Logged |

Yep, it's your age. At 40, I can tell you that there were alot of lessons to be learned though I thought I knew it all at 18. What I think is most fascinating about astrology is that it is a spiritual map for you to grow by. It teaches you your strenghts and shortcomings in order for you to learn, heal, and grow. It shows you how you can contribute to this world.I have some heavy 12th house/chiron aspects that have been challenging that I couldn't even face at 18. I also have some great trines and grand trines that I've been blowing off. So on and on the lessons come... Think of your age in terms of having all your bags packed, map in hand and your just starting to walk through the doorway. I can relate to my planets much more than when I was younger. Check out your nodes, personally that's where I think astrology gets interesting. IP: Logged |

That's so true ... the Nodes ARE interesting to look at.I think in terms of my own observations, the Nodes have been noticeably influential. So has my Midheaven (MC) i.e., 10th House. Also, a few months ago, someone brought up something I can't remember what it's called technically, but it's really cool. You look at your Wheel, find your Sun, and then find the next planet in a CLOCKWISE direction. For example, if that planet is Mercury, you will probably place a lot of importance on, or be really good at speaking. It's an important focal point in your life. IP: Logged |
