Okay my fellow peeps - I've been reading a lot about the trials and tribulations we have all been experiencing for a long long long time....no worries Archers and Archeresses....we'll make it through it. I found this wonderful write up about our cosmic medicine that we have been choking down for a few years now. Hey, remember- we are not the only ones, the Virgo and Pisces peeps are feeling the pain of Pluto and Gemini hasn't been too happy about that opposition...so let's see what is in store for us:

Most Sagittarians have faced some unusual challenges in their home or family life of late (or in relationships). It may be that the need for freedom either within yourself or within those close to you, has reared its head with a holy vengeance over the last few months. Chances are, events have led you to feel at times that people close to you are not providing the life-affirming energies that you seek. If so, there is probably a very good reason for this.
Closeness with others, in the short term, is not really high on the Universe’s priority list for you right now—unless perhaps you haven’t had this in ages, in which case it may be very close to the top of that list. But for most Sagittarians right now, you are probably better off not trying to invest too much energy in your relationships, so that you can invest more energy in yourself and in your personal, spiritual connection to a higher power. There is an excellent chance that any challenges you have been facing in interpersonal or family realms are largely for the purpose of turning your attention back to yourself. If what I am saying rings true, then finding the things that you like to do to nurture and be kind to yourself could be a very good move right now, as long as you leave some quiet time to remember and reconnect yourself with the spiritual source that gives you power.

For some Sagittarians, the events of the last few months have been downright gut wrenching at times. If so, this is probably a clear indication that there is some kind of emotional pain within you that really wants to come to the surface and be embraced for healing. If this seems true, then this is where you have to be really aware of yourself, because most Sagittarians naturally focus on the fun, light, and easy side of life; but then sometimes to let the negatives go, the negatives need our full attention for a little while first. Sometimes we need to feel our pain in order to let it go. Sometimes we need to fully remember the hard times we’ve had so that we can be free of their limiting influences; when we block out the hard times from our past, these experiences have a way of recurring in our lives over and over until we have faced and embraced them fully.

I know you don’t like to do the emotional stuff too much, Sagittarius, but I’m gonna give it to you the way you like it: straight. You have to do the emotional stuff right now, and you are going to have to pay attention to the emotional stuff for a long, long time to come. The sooner you realize this, and make time for the feelings and emotional issues that need to be dealt with, the more fun and enjoyable your life is going to be in the long run. You may have to rewire a few of your circuits to accomplish this, but I don’t think you really have much of a choice in the matter right now if you want to go with the Universal flow. Okay, now for the good news (sorry it took so long).

Probably no other sign is as good at seeing the big picture as you are. So I think you’ll like this next part. What I’m seeing is that the Universe has some big plans in mind for you when it comes to your emotional happiness. What I’m seeing is that the Universe has a very smart, long-term plan in mind for you that is intended to bring you the domestic happiness that you deserve. However, it is a long-term plan. This plan has an enormous amount of potential, and of course it is within your power to bring this potential to reality.

Part of manifesting this potential will be looking honestly at your past and your family, and working through some of the issues that stem from there. Any challenges that you have faced or will face in your home or relationships will be for the purpose of bringing patterns to your attention so that you can be aware of them and alter them. Part of this plan may be experiencing some restlessness over the years to come so that you can explore all of your options and more fully realize where and how you really want to be. If you have an intention to grow personally and emotionally, you will attract powerful circumstances to you to help you to make the deep-seated changes that will bring you the happiness you deserve.

There may be some things that you can do over the next seven’ish years to bring this potential to reality. Many Sagittarians will move around a lot, looking for a newer, better place to call home. Some Sagittarians will try on different relationships in these upcoming years, looking for the experiences that will teach them exactly what they need to know about themselves in order to have the relationships they really want to have. Many Sagittarians will learn a lot about their past and do a lot of psychological healing so that they can be free from any limitations that have been holding them back.

Over the last six months (March through September) Sagittarius, there’s a good chance you’ve felt some kind of a shift towards taking on more responsibility for your family or your community. If so, I couldn’t encourage you more in this direction. Even though much of the long-term focus for you is on your spiritual and emotional growth, there should also be some kind of emphasis on responsibilities to others. You’ve begun a long, long phase of your life where you will be laying so many different kinds of foundations for yourself. To reach the place you want to be in life, my advice would be to give yourself fully to the work that presents itself to you, whether that’s emotional or worldly work. Many Sagittarians will—if they haven’t already—over the next seven years, also make moves to either own real estate or radically upgrade properties that they own.

You are going to be laying down bricks for a long, long time. If you give yourself fully to the new opportunities before you, you will probably amaze yourself with the benefits you (and everyone around you) derive from this for the rest of your life, though much of the reaping might not come fully until years down the road. Laying down bricks might not sound like such a party, but this will really allow you to enjoy life to the fullest for a long, long time to come. Keep your eyes on the big picture, and trust that all of the good and conscious things that you do over the next seven years will pay unimaginable dividends for you and your loved ones for many decades to come.

This is real to me, a true friend is energy according to an old Danish proverb. One who always has a drink waiting for you as soon as you step over the threshold.

I am stepping back more to try understand my relationships this year,
I have Sag/1st house, Mars in Sag,

Women I know have been asking me if I like being single as much as they do and I say yes, but because it feels part of a process.

I also have moved three times this year and I'm trying on different relationships, I feel I will be more settled when I have found where I want to live for the rest of my life.

Then again, my Cancer moon and Venus 4th house idealizes home.

Natasha,

I think you are getting a double whammy - not only is Pluto Activating your Mars- in the first house- but also you have Saturn teaching your moon lessons.

A wise woman told me about the 'fated' qualities of Saturn and Pluto- should you have both occuring at the same time means you are going to be learning more about what 'you' want and what 'you'need. Also, be prepared for people to come into your life to bring about change, transformation..I remember reading that you really changed your look- well, that sounds like Pluto in the 1st house or activating your Mars in the 1st house.

Have you found yourself to be more "concrete" about what you want? I think you have, as your posts are more poignant and your dealings with men are more direct.

I can empthasize with you. I have found myself really fighting for what I need, but not fighting fate like I used to. I made a concrete decision to go with my "heart" and not just my head- Saturn squaring the Moon (in my transit) teaches us that we got out of balance. I did- I made my career my life and in return I sacrificed valuable emotional relationships. Saturn was winning out over my emotional side.

Do you find that to be the case in your life?

VirgoMaiden,

Is your look changing? Do you find that many things affecting your appearance and what you project to the world has been changing? Having Pluto in your 1st house will do that, especially if you have other personal planets in that house. Currently, I have Pluto squaring the hell out of my natal Ascendant (Virgo) and my Pluto.

Archer,

I would say that you HAVE to be feeling so many things right now and you must be going through one of those very exhaustive relflective points in your life. You will PULL through!!! Even if it's hard.

Good luck

TINK and Libra,

Whew...I am glad I am not the only one experiencing all those homefront isses. Man has it been tough. I am also looking to settle down (very weird) and buy property to begin tending to my domestic side. I have my Sag sun in the 4th house and property / home / domestic issues have been highlighted for the past year. I am sure it will get even more intense as Pluto makes it's way INTO that 4th house.

Yes it's going to be very intense for you, it's going to be emotional for a while but then everything ought to settle down once you have a place to settle into and call your own. I am glad you are getting support during this transition, once you are settled you can cuddle up to Mr. Taurus and face the future. It's not that difficult to see it will be a happy one. Babies right?

I am glad he saw the light about pets, they do make us happier.
Mr. Taurus's job right now is being cuddly, it keeps the worries away.
(My saying right now is Find solutions not problems) I can see how a Taurus with Virgo moon could find problems, and I do that sometimes too. Tell him for me that cuddling works much better than worrying.

I am trying to remember this.

Yes I have been more concrete lately, and I have been going through several changes physically. I was thinking last night how much more direct I am in what I want/need. They are now pretty much the same thing, otherwise everyone is confused.

And I am a 69 baby, great year!
We are probably getting down to what works for us and what doesn't.

I am happy to read about your counseling and the work you are doing for yourself, everything you are going through is an extension of yourself, but be happy in the here and now. The future is not that uncertain.

Pluto, honestly wants me to do things, not just think about them, so it gets me into feeling emotions so much it's almost painful, I must believe it's a good thing. I recently cut my hair in a short bob, at first the Gemini liked it, now he wants it longer. But I'm very impatient myself, so that makes me a little impatient to change something else. I don't like superficial emotions or comments at this time, but I don't mind superficial contacts with other people.

You are right Pluto is intense, I have a strong desire to chill out, like they say in California, but my emotions want more and more. I want to be with the sexy man in my life, but he's 7hrs away:<
He feels the same way, maybe I'll see him this weekend, he has expressed a few longings for me to live closer to him, and that makes me a little PO'd since he knows I can't buy another house in that area, and I am not willing to live with someone right now. He has too much to handle right now in his area, but I was hoping he could stay with me for a while.

I don't want to feel like Cinderella (resentful) right now. Everyone knows what long distance relationships are like! Oh well, we'll work on it.

Yes..Natasha, you hit it right on. Pluto brings us to that emotional brink- to face outselves- even when it feels like it will break us.

Pluto (and also your moon with Saturn's influences) won't let you deny those feelings or let you sit back and just think. I read about the transit regarding the Sun (which I think is also important for the rising sign and it is the mask to the self) Basically, denying Pluto is like putting the cap on a volcano - it will still bubble up in time and the result will be worse. Pushing Pluto to make changes for the sake of change or for ego purposes will actually bring about violence itself or outburts.

I think that you and Mr. Gemini have a brighter future ahead of you both than a few months ago. He has to learn that you do want to be with him, but that you just can't up and leave. You just moved and it seems that he is the one that is more flexible at this time.

I understand about the inability to tolerate with superficial comments or opinions, but the contacts are fine. I can get my "social exposure fix" by just walking around a mall, chit chatting with a few people from work - without having to have a close frienship. Sometimes it just feels easier NOT to have all that baggage..LOL..oh that sounds bad- but true.

I think it is fun to experiment with hair length and color. A few months ago I had my mom cut in bangs for me. THAT was a mistake and I soon learned WHY I hadn't done that in over 10 years. Because I have two cow-licks and my bangs looked like horns. LOL...but hey, no harm in trying.

pidaua ~ I have a saggie moon in the 4th house too.

"I am looking to settle down and buy property to begin tending to my domestic side"

That's exactly it! I just bought a book called "Home Comforts: The Art and Science of Keeping House", I find I am enjoying laundry, I am looking into buying a house, and I ... gulp ... want to get pregnant. All my life I have always been the least domestic, maternal person in the room. Now all I want to do is vacuum and bake cookies.

I'm becoming a Stepford Wife! What's happening to me!!!

I was talking to another Sag sun and she said that she is finally in a happy place being single BUT she is on a re-date, that is dating someone who left her for an ex and then "woke up" and came back to her. I let on this information about Sags and relationships and asked her thoughts. She said she is in the process of being happy with herself, and she was tired of the drama of the relationship.

So that just verifies my belief that a lot of Sags are either holding on, or cutting out excess baggage. It's interesting, how it's not really a conflict, just a process, the Sags I know in marriages are very happy right now and I realize that I crave a relationship like that. It's funny I don't know any happier married people than these Saggies.

Thanks for sharing and caring about us, Pidua. Another Sagi Sun, Venus, Chiron and Asc. I do think that Pluto is known to 'take away' anything that is not working in your Life. I wondered if as Pluto touches your planets in conjunction, if it affects different parts of our Life. Pluto entered Sag in late 95. Finally, I agreed that the marriage was over and we split in 96. Through the last 7 years, I feel like I have changed and then changed again. When Chiron in Sag conjuncted my Asc and Pluto conj my Sun .. I met a very significant other..very.Time has moved along and as it has, I feel as if I have been nudged to figure out exactly what it is I need to learn along this path. I wonder if Pluto as it is conj my Venus right now..how does it affect.. I just know, even though it has been a long wait.. that I am to be ready for this relationship to move forward.. I thought it was the heavy Saturn in Gem (opposing my Sagi planets ) but that was over last year.. allright all you intuitive ones.. what do you think? Flame

Hi Flame,

Well, I can answer about the Pluto conjunct Venus. My Sun hasn't been hit directly, but Pluto has been going over my Venus and back for the past 2 years.

I awakened a part of my passionate / emotional soul that I wasn't prepared for. I "felt" more deeply and needed to be around people that wanted more than superficiality. It's kind of like what Natasha said in another post about not being able to put up with anything superficial from those we care about, BUT we can deal with superficial contacts.

Pluto conjunct Venus taught me to expect more from my sexual life and emotional bonds. What wasn't working was severed- then I met someone that caused such deep emotions in me and it was beautiful- for a while. Other problems surfaced, but I become "more" of myself through that relationship. Now, I am in a more stable, loving and yet very passionate relationship - which occured as Pluto went retro and said "HELLO" once again to my Natal Venus.

In other transit readings, Pluto conjunct Venus does intensify sexual relations and longings. You will discover more of that aspect and in some cases become obsessed or be the object of someones obsession - just be careful

Oh my goodness!!! pidua don't even talk to me. I'm so glad that you posted this. I've been knowing that something had to be done. I don't like the sound of this waiting years to reap the benefits though; that's a bit much. I want my benefits NOW!!!!!!!!! Thanks for posting. I've wanted to hear this.

P.S. I have a Saggitarius Asc. Quite frankly, I don't know if I could handle this if I was a Sun Sign Sag. It's pretty rough.

I did have a Pluto transit in Feb. but I can't remember if it was my Sun or Venus that it touched on, I think my Venus because I met the man I am dating now at the end of the month. Jan. I was in a Neptune fog and met several people, then in Feb, what I want became clear and I was much more assertive. My desires were sharper.

In composite we have neptune opposite venus. I always seem to have neptune aspects with men.

When Pluto touches me it does make me commit but I am not always happy with the same situation later. Neptune transits are the opposite, I'm not happy at the start but the longing intensifies.

I do believe that Pluto is HUGE in the becoming freed up from what isn't working and then getting you ready (ouch) for what you will want. That article is again mentioning the Sagi ability to 'see the big picture'. I guess I keep thinking that 'all WILL work out.. not just yet, but it will'. If I deviate or get to giving up on this, it makes me feel very sad and not at all like I am on the right path. Again, Pluto is readying us for a Wonderful emotionally happy Life soo.. we just have to project that it comes soon. As in, before I am too old to give up on sex..HAHA. I have seen a psychic and had Tarot done. Both these 'readers' said the same.. 2nd marriage, equal partnership, HAPPY FUTURE.. just maybe .. now is all about working out the kinks on both our parts, so that we will be ready to really enjoy Life .. together. Thanks for letting me ramble. Flame

I am Sag Sun, Sag Mars, Virgo Saturn and Virgo NN Mars is in the late degrees of Sag so I have some time till Pluto hits it. But it's hitting my Sun for a long time and is heading towards my Desc.
Year and a half ago I met a Gemini guy with Sag Moon and Sag NN. We are still together, lately feeling more and more close to each other. We have many obstacles between us which don't allow us to be together frequently. I think Pluto has brought me to the point where I just MUST take care of a relationship, to work for it, to think about it. When we met Pluto was sitting exactly on his Moon and NN and on my Sun.
Nothing more to say, I hope I'll be with this man for a long long time )

Ah yes ... we had a thread about any key placements when we first had that "flush" with a partner. I for one could not refute it, and many others confirmed. The naysayers are outnumbered.

Yeah!! I am so happy that this article is bringing comfort to others.

Keep your chin up peeps...we'll make it through this.

I also think this is a good time to keep a journal- as so many people will never feel the affects of a Pluto conjunction to such personal planets as their Sun / Moon as well as the ASC.

I am documenting the trials and saving my exerpts from posting here. Someday I want to write a book about Pluto and it's journey in my life.

I am thinking of calling it "Pluto's Journey Through the Soul".
