As far as I know, not even Theodora Lau or Suzanne White have published a volume on the (how many???) combined Chinese/Western partnership combinations (it might take a while to research/write/read!!!)
Most of the crushes I've had have been on Horse men - they're very energetic, wait for no-one, don't have infinite patience (Western equivalent = Gemini) - BUT - I LIKE them - LOTS - we have the same attitudes to humdrum scenarios.
I'm married to an Aquarian Monkey, and my God, don't the quips come thick and fast with him! Mind you, after 6 years of marriage, I've been trained pretty well to respond - I think...!

Pretty accurate description (for me anyway) of men's sexual fantasies based on Chinese sign,
Read the Rabbit, it's really strange, since I'm dating a Rabbit, I 'm a little disturbed.

This is so accurate, it's not even funny.
quote:
If you are a female SNAKE

Everything in your fantasms is related to desire. But desire and wait rather than acting. What's important in your eyes is games of seduction, glances, the extreme luxury of dresses and places, the promises of a smile or of a movement which is apparently innocent but terribly provocative. Those who crowd your fantasms are beings who are all refined, who pursue love but prove to be difficult to charm, shifty or even reticent. You move in a universe of charm and beauty, a subtle and harmonious universe, where everything is sign, promise or refusal, where everything is mask and swift turn, subtle avowals or hardly perceptible flights. However, all this amorous merry-go-round will end with a freely accepted union.

Brutes displease you as much as too spicy a dish. You like handsome, young and sensitive men. Those who can arouse your fantasms have everything of romantic heroes. They are tall and slim, wear clothes of great elegance with subtle ease, their long hair floats on their shoulders. They ride stallions or drive sport cars. They roam the world as dandies, capable of great passions but restraining their instincts so as not to hurt the beautiful women whom they desire. You imagine them at your feet, you want them to be submitted to you, at least in appearance. For, actually, you expect only one thing — that these almost feminine men show you that they are as virile as others.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I'm a pervert..LOL..

If you are a female ROOSTER

Your fantasmic universe is rich, even inexhaustible, and it often grazes abysses. Your dreams are dizzy, they pull you to the frontiers of the strangest forbidden, toy with perversity, with death, with the sordid. However, even though the scenarios which your imagination creates are sometimes terrifying and shocking, you know perfectly how to draw a line between dream and reality. It never comes to your mind to experience such chaotic wanderings in actuality. Be reassured: such fantasmagorias have nothing dangerous; they are only an expression of your unconscious — an unconscious which is free and fond of sensations, and which does not mind the conventions within which the majority of your contemporaries remain confined.

The lover who haunts your nights has a disquieting face. He's a powerful and solitary man. He wears a great black cloak and can brave all dangers — physical as well as metaphysical dangers. He's very often the likeness of a vampire — handsome but terribly dangerous. If you let him approach you, he'll drink your blood and tear your soul away although, in exchange, he'll give you access to immortality. He can also be a brother of doctor Faust, a magician or poet capable of signing a pact with Lucifer, a man hovering far above others since the time he sold his soul to the devil. He's a kind of black archangel who, if you dare come to him, will initiate you to infinite pleasures, of which others have no idea whatsoever!

Hi Pidua, I am glad you liked it, yes I am a Rooster too so you can imagine how I felt. I am not drawn to vampires at all, but I do like powerful and STRONG men, so I it's not impossible.

My ex was exactly like the description of the Pig, right down to the love of younger girls.

And my Gemini is a Rabbit too! Or the Cat however you want to look at it. You may want to mention that to him, if the cat issue comes up again. A new friend of mine (Sam-not romantic don't worry), and I saw an animated comedy Tokyo Godfathers, and there is a scene where a teenage runaway is living with a homeless couple. They contemplate killing a cat for food and she and all the cats jump up with the girl and scream threateningly (it's a funny scene). Well, I thought of you.

It turns out the teenage runaway ran away from her father who tried to give away her cat, so she had stabbed him with a knife and thought he was dead. In dramatic fashion at the end he finds her since he is a policeman and he forgives her, they bond and become closer. Her mother had always been very cold and tuned into her religion and now they are a happier family. (It was a top grossing movie in Japan)

It's very sad, heartwarming, and funny. She runs away and risks her life, of course they get the cat back and they are together again.

I don't cry much, but I did in this movie.

Anyway, who said cats aren't important. My cats got a lot of attention that day. The movie is actually about an abandoned baby and being abandoned emotionally by others. And of course redemption and love:>

Ohhh, that looks cool. Man that sounds like something I would do.LOL...you know they say that Rabbits and Roosters have a hard time together- but I don't think that is all that true - we just need a bit of work. Are you a 69 baby too?

Well, I stood my ground with the cat issue and he realized I would not compromise- but everything turned out. He really wants me to live with him and I said "Well, then you know that cats will be with me, they are apart of who I am. Then I said 'I'll make sure that we keep the bedroom door closed and that they stay off the counter tops (he is worried about cooking and cat hair- I said luckily I am anal retentive and I am always wiping down the counters, so I will make sure we never cook / or prepare food where I haven't wiped things down" He liked that. And I also said I would get the ionic breeze / air purifier and we'll keep one of those sticky brushes next to the sofa to pick up any errant cat hair.

Soooo, Mr. Taurus thought about things, realized that he really wanted me with him and this was one of those issues that I was prepared to get my own place about. I also let him know 'My love for animals will not replace my love for you.' In fact, the more he realizes that being easy going about the animals, the more I will be happy that he is being cool and will do things, like cook his favorite meals, keep him cuddly and happy at night (actually that benefits me too) but you get the idea.

Vampires: Oh yeah, I have always had a facination with those creatures. There is something so devilishly sexy about them. I have always had a thing for strong men, but felt intimidated, now I am embracing that side of myself.LOL

Oh, by the way, I did respond to you in the "Shout out" thread. I hope all is well.

Hmm, I read the Tiger description,I don't think it's strictly true. I like strength and heroism, yes, but I also need absolute gentleness and warmth, total merging - and love and romance in bucketloads. Otherwise, I'm turned off! I thought Tigers WERE by their very nature supposed to be romantic...Where does Master Rao get some of his notions from???
Mmmm...Tiger and Horse are supposed to be the hottest, absolute best match!
My crush is a Scorpio/Horse...
And me and my husband? Well, take a look at Shere Khan and King Louis in Disney's "The Jungle Book". It probably gives quite a good idea of how we get on...

I'm a LibraBunny!!! I love it!!! Yay!

quote:

The Libra/Rabbit cannot help having bourgeois aspirations and likes to entertain with certain pomp.

I suppose I can agree with that. I guess I sorta do have bourgeois aspirations, but I don't like to admit it. I do like to entertain with a certain pomp. I can't help it. I love beauty... especially beautiful surroundings. My house is decorated nicely. I have pretty colors, butterflies and fairies (figureines, glued puzzles on the walls, and prints) all over the place(air sign ). Also, plants and flowers (real and silk). I NEED to be surrounded by beautiful things or I just don't feel comfortable... in my own home that is.

HEY - I don't know Yin - I'm a female fire sagittarius, fire snake / the female snake description makes it seem like it's that simple but it really feels like being on the verge of "going nuts/creepy" and truly liking it ("movement which is apparently innocent but terribly provocative" brought a sneaky grin to my face) - regardless, preparing self for that BIG freely accepted union or when i finally do accept that union - desire and wait is such a guilty pleasure considering what i truly want to accomplish / it's worth it because I say so - is that wrong or am i being greedy and unrealistic?

Well, the descript here is awfully brief (I'm a metal Pig): "Being a Gemini all the while being a Rooster, Goat or Pig is being someone who charms by his mind as much as by his heart... the Gemini/Pig, with the childish and at the same time somewhat mystical side to his character, is irresistible to all those who come into contact with him." So, do you guys find me irresistible??

The fantasm was strange. I'm a female pig, and I DO NOT dream of getting married and having a lot of children (no litters for me, thank you!). I don't like babies - baby animals, yes, but baby humans, no. I'm the person standing off when someone's passing her baby around to be adored by everyone, hoping to avoid being asked if I want to hold the baby, which I never do. I like children, as long as I don't have to live with them (or birth/nurse/fed/clean up after them). I do like men who are childlike (innocence, excitable, interact with the world with wonder and awe), but not childish. I cna be nuturing and mothering to a guy, but only if I feel I'm really helping him (like helping him organized his kitchen or looking after him when he's sick) and not being co-dependant (like cleaning up after him), as after dating so many Cancer men, I've grown to really dislike momma's boys.

The description he gave was rather on target about me not liking violence. I don't like men who are macho or look like they're capable of violence. I really prefer effeminate men, who are very emotional and spiritual yet still cerebral - strength in character is important to me, but violence just doesn't factor into my ideal man. I guess this is why I'm so attracted to Pisces men. I can handle tantrums and emotional outbursts from a guy, but any form of intimidation charges up my Aqua Mars for war. So I can't have any threats in a relationship AT ALL, because I just chuck all affection out the window and go into battle mode, and a Gemini in battle mode is not a pretty thing (the funny thing is some other descripts I've read say that metal pigs don't like being pushed around, and although we're non-violent by principle, you don't want to pick a fight with us - LOL - One descript calls us "the last ones standing on the battlefield").

Taurus --- Year of the Wood Ox, Hour of the Tiger

The fantasy thing is very accurate

"If you are a male OX

You are now living in a civilized world. And yet, your fantasms take their roots in an archaic universe, an intact and forgotten universe, a universe where human beings are still connected to nature, in which people live according to the rhythm of the seasons, where one is near to wild animals and the huge forest of the origins. The woman of your dreams is a primeval being, a being who hardly emerges from animality, a being who lives in harmony with the world, plants, trees, beasts, and the forces of the earth. This primitive, powerful and sensual being knows all the secrets of amorous ecstasy. She can show herself brutal without meaning it. But there's in her neither violence nor wickedness.

Who is she, this woman of your fantasms, the one who resembles an archaic goddess, who is all at the same time a of nature, a high priestess of pleasure, a sensual young woman with a full-bloomed shape, as well as a fecund and protecting mother? Is she a hetaera, a sacred , or an enamored geisha? A high-class courtesan whose beauty and art of loving everyone admires but who hides an and loving soul under her paints? Or also a wild and enthralling beauty, a peasant who is at the same time humble and all-powerful, capable of initiating you into ecstasies for which you've lost the taste? One thing is sure in any case: your ideal woman is well in flesh, her generous bosom promises tenderness, and her wide hips are made to love. Voluptuous and amorous, she ignores all modesties, all taboos. And, as she unites power and tenderness, savagery and gentleness, you guess that she will know how to reveal all kinds of pleasures to you. "

I'm a Virgo Tiger. It sounds great .

Tigers are supposed to be charismatic, daring, and a bit domineering sometimes which kind of contrasts with the Virgo nature.

The tiger is like Aquarius in the Western zodiac, and all people born my year it seems have a bit of that tiger nature.

I can't help liking rabbits or cats (which is Pisces), the boy I liked was this sign, but at the same time, they often try my patience a lot...
I tend to get on well with Horses and Dogs (Libra).
