I'm sorry it took 2 years to answer this. I've never been very good at correspondence. I appreciate that you asked. I certainly have little way of knowing if someone uses my material or not, and so I couldn't deny you permission to do so.
Besides, I noticed long ago that these writings seem to be not for the purpose of convincing anyone of anything, (although no doubt, I myself may have tried while writing some of them.)
No, I think what my unwitting purpose in all of this scribbling has been, is to provide everyone..I don't care how smart or much of a philosopher..everyone with the same pieces I've had to work with, so that they can sift through those and theirs and find what they find. On a site a few years ago, I was asked how I could proudly proclaim that 'I never said I wasn't a hypocrite.'
Well I didn't necessarily say it proudly, but I am a hypocrite, and it seems that this is part and parcel of who I am, and what I do.
The ability to discard old values and beliefs when faced with new conclusions that can't be avoided, is a blessing and a curse.
The Blessing:
It has been, and continues to be an amazing ride. Being able to let my perception of Truth change with the scenery has led my personal development down a Path that I can only describe as..incredible.
The Curse:
On the other hand, folks aren't used to the notion that you can believe one thing one day, and learn that you weren't quite right the next. For hundreds of years, astrologers worked with an earth based model of the solar system and made perfectly acceptable planetary calulations. And yet, Truth reveals itself and became revealed.
Our beliefs were capable of completely relocating the center of the universe from here to there..and yet not without struggle. People do not trust folks that say one thing one day, and something different the next.
So please, feel free to use what you like, under the condition that you avoid claiming the information as yours or claiming any rights to it what-so-ever. Whether or not you want to credit me is up to you. Getting emails from folks who enjoy what I do is one of the blessings that makes all the cursing worthwhile.
Love,
daf
P.S. To avoid future mishaps, I suppose I'll have to check the Astrology forum when visiting, but it moves so fast, and my visitation isn't very predictable, unfortunately. Oranges and Hyacinths is regularly checked, and Yellow Wax and the Ants. Thanks.
