Hey ya'll -

I know that this may not fly, but I have an idea:

Why don't we take turns posting charts so that they can be analyzed?
We could either post the birth info, or post the natal chart itself (you can go to astro.com and save their chart, then upload it to free, hot-linkable space at www.photobucket.com ). That chart could then be examined by all who wish to try.
Novices (such as myself) could throw out the bits that we see and have those bits commented on by others, and more advanced astro students could point out pertinent aspects and placements

It could, if all goes well, turn into a neat little group learning excercise...provided that we don't all jump over one another.
With that goal in mind, I'm gonna propose that only one chart be posted every two days in order to give each a chance to be looked at in its own right.

Since I already feel like enough of a flaming egoist with all of the pictures and charts that I post (HELLO 5th House Sun and NN/Mars conj. in Leo in the 10th w/ an out-of-sign conj. to Jupiter battling it out w/ my Pisces Sun and Aqua Moon ), the first posting's open to someone else.

Oh! And for those of you who're squeamish about posting personal info: If you save an astro.com natal chart, you can then go into a photo editing program and edit out the textual info at top. Granted, someone w/ enough expertise can figure out much given just a chart, but most people aren't going to take the time and effort to do so.

Cheers! And I'm looking forward to what may be a groovy learning experience!

OH! That's a cool idea. Can I post my chart?

Ok, sun conj. chiron speaks to me of some emotional scaring due to the pappy, but the conj is fairly loose, so it's not too intense. Dad may be philosophical type, probably has many interesting theories, and stories and a happy-go-lucky personality. Maybe a little irresposible at times too?

Your mom was your primary relationship, and it was through your relationship with her that you have come to form your expectations of all other relationships. She had a decent relationship with your dad, for the most part, and a stronger relationship with one sibling than the other.

I see two siblings at least, the two that you likely have the most developed relationships with. One is rather individualistic and maybe a little off-beat, and somewhat shocking at times. Very friendly, but maybe unreliable and not very lovey-lovey, but rather a friendly sort of person, who goes to the beat of their own drum and doesn't really care what people think about it. This is the sibling that has a stronger relationship with your mom. But, they lock horns with your dad.

The other sibling is an emotionally intense type of person, with severe opinions and attitudes. Somewhat of a controller, maybe?

Both of these siblings may have difficult relationships with a grandparent, likely a grandma?

I also see a child who is somewhat 'not of this world', kind of dreamy-like and in his own world, but still nicely developed mental and emotional faculties.

that's all I got for now.

Oh yeah, and there may be another sibling, closer to your dad, and really doesn't seem to have any relationship at all with your mom, but also has a challenging relationship with that same grandparent. This one locks horns with the "intense" sibling.

Do you have a grandma who is hard to get along with?

Hi amber,
Here is some info I found. You have a Mystic Rectangle that is formed by your Ven. Mar. Sat to Merc. to Neptune to Pluto. In your 9th, 11th 3rd, and 5th houses. Coooollll... With all of those planets involved -- that's powerful!!!

"This consists of four planets connected in a rectangle of two squares and two trines, together with two oppositions connecting the opposite planets. Despite the name there is nothing mystical about this pattern. The combination of tense and harmonious aspects produces the best possible potential for the constructive use of natural talents

This is another "soft" aspect pattern in that it does not generate friction, discomfort or a need to take action. What a Mystic Rectangle does offer, however, is an extremely strong sense of balance and structure, of harmony between the four planets involved. Finding this balance is not a given it will still take conscious effort and awareness. However, working with the Trines and the Sextiles will help to make more sense of and find the point of integration for the two oppositions.

Working with a Mystic Rectangle takes some practice because in order for it to hold up, all four planets must be working together and supporting each other. It is common for individuals with Mystic Rectangles to struggle with the two Oppositions, see-sawing back and forth between the opposing planets. Once the point of balance has been found, however, it becomes increasingly easy to maintain, and a well integrated Mystic Rectangle can be the most unflappable of aspect patterns. Once an individual has integrated a Mystic Rectangle, it represents a core of strength for them, and a solid foundation that can be a great gift in handling whatever else life throws at them."

What do you think of this? Does it resonate with you at all? Someone else may be able to give you a more personal perspective on how this MysticRect. could operate in your life by looking at the houses and other aspects between the planets.

It looks like you also have an almost full "Kite" configuration.

I am also looking at your Nodes. NN in the 12th - SN in the 6th.
The South Node - "Been There, Done That"

The South Node is telling you what you're leaving behind. This is a clue to patterns of existence so deeply ingrained in your personality by past experience that you don't need to go there anymore - except to eliminate excess baggage. Stemming from many lifetimes, the South Node behavior has been overdone somehow.

The North Node - "New Horizons"

The North Node brings you opportunities to connect with others who can lead you out of your own particular South Node darkness and drudgery, and into the light of a new horizon. Look to the house and sign position of the North Node for new ways of being, potential friends and allies, talents yet unrealized, and heart and soul opening experiences. You will undoubtedly attract people who help fulfill or represent your North Node potential.

*North Node in 6th House

You are developing a pure, healthy, hardworking lifestyle in this life. You will make fortunate contacts with co-workers and hard-working, meticulous, pure-minded people.

*South Node in 12th House

You need to break away from a tendency to escape reality

*North Node in Aquarius

You are learning to embrace all people and give to society in this life. You will make fortunate contacts with people who are eccentric, ingenious and/or humanitarians.

*South Node in Leo*

You need to break away from the need to be in control or at the center of everything, or from an overly playful attitude.

WOW!!

I was sexually abused by my father when I was a kid. I was lucky, though, because we actually talked through it a few years ago and I've forgiven him. Maybe that's where the 'not to intense' part comes in! He's somewhat philosophical.. he's an artist and a Cancer. I wouldn't really call him happy go lucky, though. He can be pretty intense at times. I often wonder if he's bi-polar or something. Irresponsible in a lot of respects although he preaches about responsibility to us quite often.

Your mom was your primary relationship, and it was through your relationship with her that you have come to form your expectations of all other relationships. She had a decent relationship with your dad, for the most part, and a stronger relationship with one sibling than the other.

hrmmm well my father is a difficult person. They got divorced when I was about 8. I wouldn't really say they're on speaking terms. But my mom was definately the primary relationship with me in regards to my parents. She just rocks

I see two siblings at least, the two that you likely have the most developed relationships with.

I have a younger brother and a younger sister

One is rather individualistic and maybe a little off-beat, and somewhat shocking at times. Very friendly, but maybe unreliable and not very lovey-lovey, but rather a friendly sort of person, who goes to the beat of their own drum and doesn't really care what people think about it. This is the sibling that has a stronger relationship with your mom. But, they lock horns with your dad.

This has to be my brother Dustin. Another Cancer. This description fits him EXACTLY. EXACTLY!

The other sibling is an emotionally intense type of person, with severe opinions and attitudes. Somewhat of a controller, maybe?

Hrmmm. Well the only other sibling is my sister Autumn. She's 13. It's hard to say if this fits her but I think it does. She's autistic and can be pretty intense. I wouldn't call her a controller but she has her patterns that she doesn't like to be broken.

Both of these siblings may have difficult relationships with a grandparent, likely a grandma?

hrmmm! My mother's mother is living with her now. My brother was living there until just last week but he just moved back to NY. So it's my mom, sister and grandma living in one place. I'm not aware of any difficulties really but my sister doesn't speak so she wouldn't be able to tell me. And my brother isn't much of a 'phone talker' so if grandma was being a pain in the butt he might not have told me.

I also see a child who is somewhat 'not of this world', kind of dreamy-like and in his own world, but still nicely developed mental and emotional faculties.

Wonder if that is my son Hunter? That sounds like him. He's 5 and brilliant but may be labeled as high functioning autistic next year.

Oh yeah, and there may be another sibling, closer to your dad, and really doesn't seem to have any relationship at all with your mom, but also has a challenging relationship with that same grandparent. This one locks horns with the "intense" sibling.

Can't imagine where this ties in!

26taurus ~

I'm not sure about the Mystic Rectangle but it sounds interesting at least! I'll see if I can find more about it online.

You are developing a pure, healthy, hardworking lifestyle in this life. You will make fortunate contacts with co-workers and hard-working, meticulous, pure-minded people.

Yes. But it's taken me a long time. I'm 32 now and just getting there, I think. I was a mess in my teens.. but then who isn't?!

You need to break away from a tendency to escape reality

Amen to that. I think I've come a long way in that, too.

[b]You need to break away from the need to be in control or at the center of everything, or from an overly playful attitude.[b]

This is probably all too true, too.

I would say relationships are a focus with the moon in the 7th. The midheaven is Taurus, which points to work in the arts, music is prominent somehow. If you don't work in the arts then a partner or relationship plays this out.

You may also be physically attractive with a Leo ascendant and Taurus midheaven, and receive quite a bit of attention for the physical, either you will create out of your own ego, or this could be your child, or children. Without water in your chart, the masculine side is emphasized, what is your favorite color? Do you feel the need to cool down, with all that fire?

How do you post a chart? All I ever manage to post is a link. I don't know how to make the actual chart appear in the post.
I wish I was more adept and less inept with internet/computer stuff.

--Copy and paste it into your "reply" area here in LL.

--Then type

Try this - good luck....

oh that's cool! I've been in a couple bands but nothing at the moment. But I'm always attracted to musicians. It always works out like that.. even if I don't KNOW they are a musician they always turn out to be.

I am into art I love painting and digital art, photography, writing.. name it!

You may also be physically attractive with a Leo ascendant and Taurus midheaven, and receive quite a bit of attention for the physical, either you will create out of your own ego, or this could be your child, or children.

I do get attention sometimes (although this is Los Angeles so not that much... there are 10000000 beautiful people to get more attention). I think I get more attention because of my height and crazy hair than anything else

Without water in your chart, the masculine side is emphasized, what is your favorite color? Do you feel the need to cool down, with all that fire?

Favorite colour -- that's a hard one. It really does depend and I can't decide. I like black, red and various shades of blue. If it's clothes then I like black and red... mostly black. My room is decorated in blues and purples with red and gold accents. I'm happiest when my hair is red. RED RED.

I guess I do have a lot of fire. I don't know what it is that makes people tell me in person that I seem very 'calm, relaxed and very zen'. They tell me that ALL THE TIME offline. I always think that's funny because although sometimes it is true there are other times internally I am freaking out everywhere with a very calm exterior.
