I once read somewhere that the degree in which a planet is, expresses itself in a certain way. Out of curiosity, if a planet is found in a sign at 30 or 0 degrees, will the sign after or before it be of importance? for eg, my moon is at exactly 0 degrees Capricorn- would saggitarius play a role in the way I express my emotions? I also have my Asc in O degrees Scorpio- so doesn't that leave some room for libra?IP: Logged |

I'm curious about this too- my Moon is at 29 degrees Libra. Dunno what Decantes are though, astro junkie.------------------

in indian astro, each degree in each sign has a meaning. i'm sure this must be the case in western astro too. somehow it is ignored. does someone know any link where this degreeical info is given?i dunno what to search for in google. "degreeical astrology" ? ------------------

i found this out...each sign is divided into 3 quarters and called decant. one decant is ruled by the ruling plaent of the same sign and the other two are ruled by the ruling planets of sign on same elements.
for example...
first decant of sagittarius = jupiter
second decant of sagittarius = mars
third decant of sagittarius = sun ------------------

there is no 30th degree (it goes to 30 that starts 0) did you get that?
the latest degree you can have before leaving a sign is 29 degrees 59 minutes and 59 seconds and the next second is 0 degrees 0 minutes and 0 seconds.
Having said that if its on the 29th degree it is still in that sign with all of that behind you (you are still that sign) 0 degrees, you carry nothing from behind but start fresh with the new sign. You've completed the lessons of the sign you just left.IP: Logged |
