I have read the posts about the 7th house and how it has been said to be informative as to how many marriages you will have, over and over again..I've gone to astro.com and pulled up my chart and TRIED to understand all of this. I am not a stupid person, however, this is just not clicking with me..the lightbulb over my head has YET to go off, for over A YEAR now. Yeah, I've tried figuring it out on my own, off and on for over a year.
But, it is still not clear to me. I am REALLY interested to know what my 7th house shows for me in regards to marriage. I recently had a coworker who is knowledgable about tarots and such, to notice one of my hands one day while she and I were talking. I use my hands alot when I talk, moving them around and stuff, you know, talking with my hands...and she grabbed hold of my right hand and looked at lines on and around the palm. She exclaimed "Did you know that you are destined for 3 marriages?" Supposedly she has studied that there are lines right below the pinky, on the side of the hand, that will show your marriages. I've never heard of this before...which is what brought me here, as I remember several posts about the 7th house and marriages. Could someone PLEASE look at my chart and tell me what, if anything, that you see in my 7th house? I honestly have tried to understand it, but for whatever reason, it isn't coming natural to me..maybe I am trying too hard to understand...I'm just uncertain and really would like someone who actually knows what they are seeing and reading to tell me. hi JustAmanda,Your friend was using palmistry -- I have heard of those pinky lines indicating the number of relationships you will have, but I have also heard that it can indicate how many children you will have. But let's take a look at astrology. I am a total newbie, but here's what I pulled up for you: Venus in VII Her fate depends a lot on marriage. Marries for love, children, happy emotional life. Mars in VII She dominates her associates, colleagues. She is the same in love life, dominating the spouse and this makes for a stormy relationship in prospect. Jupiter in VII She makes a good marriage, with a useful partner who helps to bring success if only by his advice. She never goes outside the bounds of legality. Neptune in VII Marries for love, to show the depth of her passion, but has a troubled conjugal life. House VII in Libra Love-marriage with someone of a higher class, bringing the desired luxury and refinement. Hmm ... those elements do not tell us much about the number of marriages you will have. Perhaps someone else will have some more insight! On a side note, however, I would like to add that palmistry is open to interpretation. The left hand indicates the tendencies you were born with, and the right hand is how things actually are. Thus, if the two are different, it shows effort on your part to change your destiny (for example, my left palm indicates an emotional breakdown due to the broken headline, but my right hand shows a clear line, indicating that I have taken active steps to improve my psychological well-being).
