Try different house systems, Placidus for one, then Koch,

Archer,

It's in the 3rd, but has a little 4th house flavor to it. Consider it in both.

and do a little research on the house systems. Some use Placidus, some use one of the many others. It's all preference.

I don't think different house systems are going to matter much for this chart since Jupiter is one degree from the IC and on the cusp of an angular house. I would just go ahead and interpret it as in the 4th house, but be mindful of some residual 3rd house influence.

If it was not on an angle, perhaps there would be more leeway. Also, one needs to account how fast a planet moves through a cusp - Jupiter, although an outer planet, moves at moderate rate, so it doesn't really dilly-dally around on those cusp for very long. Also, angular houses tend to draw planets into them and extert more influence on them when they are on the cusp more so than other houses. So there a bit of finesse needed when looking at these things, I believe. I have Uranus in 1st (angular) that's about a degree and a half away from the 2nd house using the Placidus style, and rule of thumb is that it should be interpreted in the 2nd house. But given that it's a slow moving planet and its already in an angular house, chances are it's going to influence more like a 1st house Uranus, which it certainly does, as I bear all the marks of it.

on astro.com the default system used IS Placidus. You can click on the arrow and change this if you want.

Archer,
Jupiter is in the 3rd. When looking it up always check Jupiter conjunct the nadir.
