"Saturn's Quick and Frantic Transit
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Om Sanecharaya Namaha!
Saturn is the single most important planet in governing an individual's life. He is the Lord of life or destiny. Every planet is being ruled or controlled by a God. In Saturn's case it is Siva who is his Lord. Saturn can make or mar one's life. He is the most dreaded planet because he can completely ruin a person's life and cause unbearable pain and suffering. Nevertheless when he is good he can make one a king.

This current transit of Saturn on September 5th into Cancer has great importance for world events. He is transiting at a time when the Presidential Election in the U.S. is underway. Apparently, Saturn will select Bush or Kerry. It is precisely for this reason he is making this quick and frantic movement into Cancer.

-- Siva Baba

Note: Saturn is in Cancer only for 4 months starting on Sunday, September 5th. In January he moves back into Gemini. This sojourn of Saturn in Cancer is unique and powerful. During this time you can propitiate him and get his blessings to remove your karma."

Well, my Saturn's in Capricorn, I wonder if the opposition does anything?

So, I know Bush is a Cancer- I wonder what this will do to him?

Yeah, it could be, or Saturn could be the price you pay for having a good time (Jupiter).

"Yeah, it could be, or Saturn could be the price you pay for having a good time (Jupiter)."

i don't think so. they are independant planets with independant roles.

in indian astrology saturn is simply a hard time that comes in everyone's life for 7 and a half years (12th house, 1st house and second) and if the native gives in to hard work saturn rewards.

on a spiritual level i think jupiter is the knowledge due to one's perspective and understanding and saturn is knowledge
(lessons) due to practical experience.

practical experiences count more for most of us that idealistic thoughts so saturn is more effective than jupiter.

thats what i think.

That's true, I never looked at it that way. Most people around me are more into the knowledge. I'm more into practical experience.
