Hi, I'm putting together an astrology / travel site that finds perfect holidays using their star sign charachteristics as a guide.

Do you think that your moon sign might be more applicable than your star sign when it comes to travel? My star sign is Gemini but my moon sign is Cancer and it seems that the Cancer travel profile relates to me far more.

I'd be very interested in what everyome thinks.

Welcome amanlee

Interesting book you're putting together.. I'm Sag sun, Cancer moon & have always found the Sag part to be pretty spot on in my attitude to travel - even though I'd love to do more!

Best of luck with your research

Sun in Aries. Moon in Cappy. I like adventure, but I like good plans, too. Hate to get lost.

Hmmm...can't recall which house governs travel. That too would be quite revealing.

The 9th, Trill, at least 'long distance' travel. The 3rd rules 'short distance' travel, like in and around town.

Amanlee, why the mad face on your post?

I've read that Venus is really the planet the reigns over your tastes, and what you enjoy. The moon sign might determine what kind of holiday will tug at your sentimental side, and perhaps provoke childhood memories, or emotionally 'move' you.

Hmm. What if a person had an Aqua moon, but the opposite sign, Leo for a sun AND Venus sign. They would be hard to tailor a holiday for. (hee hee...not talking about anyone in particular here )

PS. I love love loved Mardi-Gras in New Orleans!!!!

Is that mad? Sorry, I thought it was confused!

Great replies, thankyou very much, I may add a facility to calculate the moon sign incase that is more applicable.

Thanks CancerianMoon, this is what I have on the site, do you think it applies to you?

Sensitive, emotional and protective, you are the shrewd crab who is renowned for their kind and caring nature, especially when protecting the young.

When looking for a holiday, keep in mind your reserved nature and love of nostalgia. Search for a place that is steeped in history and find yourself a home from home where you can retreat.

At least the history part seems right, the same as my brother who is Cancer, he's off to visit Waterloo soon, nothing to do with Abba though I hope!
