Which of the 12 signs does this sound most like to you? And why?

"THE CHALLENGER"

Throw caution to the winds! Who else would have taken those long leaps for mankind -- crossed the oceans, broken the sound barrier, walked on the moon? The men and women with this personality style venture where most mortals fear to tread. They are not bound by the same terrors and worries that limit most of us. They live on the edge, challenging boundaries and restrictions, pitting themselves for better or for worse in a thrilling game against their own mortality. No risk, no reward, they say. Indeed, for people with this personality style, the risk is the reward.

THE EIGHT CHARACTERISTICS

1. Nonconformity. Men and women who have this personality style live by their own internal code of values. They are not strongly influenced by other people or by the norms of society.

2. Challenge. To live is to dare. They love the thrill of risk and routinely engage in high-risk activities.

3. Mutual independence. They do not worry too much about others, for they expect each human being to be responsible for him- or herself.

4. Persuasiveness. They are silver-tongued, gifted in the gentle art of winning friends and influencing people.

5. Wanderlust. They love to keep moving. They settle down only to have the urge to pick up and go, explore, move out, move on. They do not worry about finding work, and live well by their talents, skills, ingenuity, and wits.

6. Wild oats. In their childhood and adolescence, people with this personality style were usually high-spirited hell-raisers and mischief makers.

7. True grit. They are courageous, physically bold, and tough. They will stand up to anyone who dares to take advantage of them.

8. No regrets. They live in the present. They do not feel guilty about the past or anxious about the future. Life is meant to be experienced now.

I said Sag, but when I read it, initially I thought Aries as well... Just wanted to throw that out there.
Consensus is def. Fire.

I'm tossed between Aries and Sagittarius...

Sag, because of their positive thinking and can sell anything. Wanderlust - definitely a Sag trait

Aries, because this is the first sign I would think of to rise to any challenge and conquer. Aries tend to be the first to do something and are original.

Nonconformity to me is an Aquarius trait

GemStar, there are no answers... yet! You and I and all the other Knowflakes are, in our infinite wisdom, determining the "answers" as we go along!

But... if that seems too anticimactic... if you all really want an "ending" to this game... I can give everyone the the personality test that these descriptions come from, and we can see how closely our guesses match up to everyone's true Sun sign! (Or Moon or Rising.)

All ya gotta do to get the jumpy guy, Gem, is to type a colon, then the word bounce, then another colon. (No spaces!)

There ya go... that's the ticket!

Now, when you go to reply to a post, just to the left of the box where you type your actual message, you'll notice it says "Smilies Legend" in small letters. If you click those words, you'll get a page that tells you the codes (usually surrounded by colons, like bounce was) for all sorts of little smilies'n'stuff.

Aries, next time you're in a plane, hand one a parachute and see what they do.

Sounds like the RAM to me!!

especially the part about sticking up for themselves to anyone to tries to take advantage of them.

If it was Saggie, they would have HAD to mention the philisophical, pondering side as well as the good humored, jovial side.
