How would a couple relate when Sun signs may not be compatible, but moon and rising signs corresponds?
I am a Sagitarrius, with a Leo moon, and Aquarius Rising, with Gemini north node.
My mate is a Cancer, with a Taurus moon, and a Leo rising, with Gemini north node.

Everyone join in!

Have you read any of Linda Goodman's books on relationships? Such as "Love Signs"? You'll see that there are positive things in each pairing, as well as the things to watch out for. How much effort each is willing to put into it depends on many other factors in the Charts. I always look at Saturn's placements to find indications for longterm effort.

Also, Linda has said that no matter what, we always stay true to our Sun Sign.

*"Here, Here"s call for Love Signs*

No, really, Chad - it's good stuff.
As aj said, it really does go very in-depth, and talks about the implications of other placements, as well.

Iiif you have tons and tons of time to kill, somewhere in this forum there's a link to it all on-line.
Not exactly legal, but it's there.

In intimate realtionships, Moon signs can overcome difficulty with Sun signs, because the moon influences our inner person, which (ideally) should be what's involved in an intimate relationship.

This explains why Gemini Suns like myself tend to have success in relationships beased more on moon signs than Sun signs - our Sun isn't a dominate placement, so our moon can play a more noticeable role in our relationships. This seems why so often successful pairing for Geminis include Sun Signs that traditionally aren't deemed compatible: successful Taurus, Virgo or Pisces pairing are very common for Geminis. In fact, statistically, Tau-Gem and Pis-Gem pairings are among the most successful pairings overall among all the signs (yes, we dualistic psychos do make good spouses...or at least some of us do ). Since it's not ideal Sun sign pairing, obviously more is going on, and since the Moon is the only planet that can rival the Sun in term of influence, it most be the moon signs overcoming the problems between the Sun signs.
