Ever read an explanation of one of your placements, aspects, etc. and thought "that is just not me at ALL." Is there any aspect of your chart that you just don't understand/relate to/see in yourself? I find all the things going on in my second house are beyond my comprehension at this moment in time. Those are my Pluto, Mars, Scorpio influences. I also don't understand my Saturn very well, while I think it would be really important to. Though I think a lot of people, especially us young ones, have difficulty relating to Saturn (well that's the whole curse of Saturn ain't it?) So share! Maybe we can help each other out or sumthin you know? IP: Logged |

I'm not sure what is going on with your 2nd house, but intepretations aren't always applicable do to other factors, particualrly aspects to that house, or other aspetcs in the chart that negate, override, or contradict that activity. Also, if your Mars and Pluto are conjunct, that'll add a differnet dimension to it, as when planets are conjunct, they act together always. So their energies become meshed and an interpretation that applies to one planet may not be very well on the mark in your case. It's a little touch and go with things like that. Also, try to look at the interpretion for a different presepective - or be daring and ask if other people (parents, siblings, coworkers ) see those traits in you. Sometimes there are things to ourselves that aren't obvious to us, and the 2nd house still rules the sphere of ourselves that is primarily about our ego. Those "personal" houses can be problematic because their infleunce resists being put into perspective by the perspectives of others. So we may not quite realize we are behaving in a certain way, because it's rooted in our ego (which only has one impetus - "I want to" - and thus doesn't necessarily need a rationale to make us reflect or consult others before it acts). ALso in many cases, especially among younger people, we've not the opportunities to be confronted about it (or we *were* confrotned and just didn't listen). Saturn is a planet that will remain difficult to grasp for most people unto they are in their mid 30's. Up until then, it's not unusual that a person is mystified or irritated by Saturn's influence. thanks Gemini Nymph. oh I was just musing about those things in our chart that are difficult to understand right away. it's definitely things I can't see due to my youthful self-centerdness. etc...alas...I suffer from that, I know. I just wanted to know if other people have that part of their chart that they never really "get", or see...and then maybe one day it makes sense..you know what I mean? IP: Logged |
