Does anyone else here find Venus in Earth signs attractive and why?I find they have a parental feel to them, and I can never figure out if it's a physical attraction or more of an admiration. What is more important to a Venus in Earth sign, love or respect? I suppose I am trying to find a way to see if I could attract an Earth Venus full time, if I have what it takes down the road, they are so long term minded it's scary to my Venus in Aries, yet I find the Earth placements luxurious and sensual. They do not seem to see me the same way, Natasha Taurus Sun/6th Cancer Moon/8th IP: Logged |

I'm Venus in Earth (Taurus, 7th House), but all I can do is confirm for you that we're long-term (though we prefer "loyal to an absurd degree") and definitely revel in all that is sensual (and sometimes in the oddest ways).Example of the latter: I ran out to my car today to get something and Jase popped out to see what I was doing. I saw him in the sun and got an urge. A simple urge. As he turned and walked back into the shadows to go inside, I said, "Hey, babe - come back here." "...?" "I want to kiss you in the sunlight." He did, and we did. The bare pleasure of the two warmths made my toes curl. IP: Logged |

I have venus in earth (virgo, 3rd house). I do get quite 'mothery' around guys, i find it easier than acting sexy and flirting, which probably explains my dire sexual straits right now. I'm timid in love and if i feel that the man is not sincere or I might get ridiculed i go cold! Its not easy to turn me on, but I do dream constantly about true love and cozy warm fires etc etc. (pisces moon I guess) I dont think you can have love without respect, they're both equally important to me. An boyfriend I once had had lots of problems and I helped him by being a good listener. He told me that he really respected me. I was really happy till I realised he did not once say love. I told my friend and she was like, 'whats the big deal? He respects you but didnt say he loves you or likes you.' But you see, I didnt notice - to me they almost seemed the same thing (which of course, they're not). You gotta have love but if you dont feel respected by your partner, you'll never feel truly happy. And vice versa. I dunno if its that important to other signs?? Or do they always assume they are being respected automatically? Im not that confident, so i guess it meant a lot more to me than it would to someone like my friend, who is extremely confident. I guess thats how i see it anyway - maybe its an earth thing.....? IP: Logged |

I have noticed how sensual earth venus is, and Venus in Virgo will get motherly, the men too, about small things around me when attracted. You have to pick up on it, because it's true, it s not noticeable. Now I know when a Venus in Virgo does things for me, that he cares, and I take that as a big sign that he is attracted, then I tell him if I am attracted with no fear. The problem then is that my nature is revealed as a little too open, and Venus in Virgo, likes to keep things simple. I do like the physical aspects of Venus in Earth, there is less inhibition with touching. Does Venus in Virgo have trouble choosing one person to date? I wonder since Virgo is ruled by Mercury! I have a Venus in Virgo! I like to take things slow...anyone coming on too fast is bound to not hear from me again. I'm a Venus in Virgo that really isn't motherly at all, but I do like to take care of my partner IF he needs it. Love long-term relationships, can't stand short ones. I pull away really easily if I do not feel like I'm appreciated or loved, I do a lot of little things to show I care and if they're overlooked I get really hurt. I just got out of a relationship with a Venus in Aries (Taurus Sun). He seemed to just get bored with me after awhile, but it was really really good at first. He also wanted way more out of the relationship than I could give all at once, and didn't notice anything I did for him that was nice. *siiiigghh* IP: Logged |

So I can read soemthing positive out of him bringing me vitamins and books I haven't read, but he thinks (correctly) I might like?? It is all so sweet, but he keeps me confused. IP: Logged |

Aen, whenever a venus in virgo likes me, he always mentions bringing me a book he wants me to read, even if I've read it already, he wants me to read it again:>IP: Logged |

Earth Venus here! (Cappy in my 10th house). I am soooo the motherly type. I just love a person who I have to be there for all the time. And long term? Damn shooky... I never enter a relationship seeing it ending, I do whatever it takes to make it work. I have put up with a lot from the men I've dated in the past, and I've usually been burned pretty bad. Is this because I'm *too* there for them? No idea... My ex has venus in scorpio... that was just a no go from the start, I realize now. He drowned me and turned me into mud...because although I do give give give, I do want to get... (Leo moon in my 5th house, baby!) I want an open partner, one I don't have to spend hours trying to dissect, only to end up so wrapped up in their emotions, I wake up one day and feel like the soul has been sucked out of me... So, I'm not sure what the best venus sign for me would be, but I sure would like one that was on the same page as me... willing to put in as much as I am. I have Pluto in Libra in my 7th house... so I have an idea of what kind of sun sign could do it for me, but the venus... another earth? Worth a ponder Ghani IP: Logged |

venus virgo here. haha. my library consists of mostly metaphysical and health subjects, with a few fiction thrown in. i have ayurveda, homeopathy, herbs, vitamins, books on colon cleansing. oh and lots of cook books. anything related to mental adn physical health i have.as far as me as a lover, i don't put out easily. i absolutely need a slow gentle lover who understands my emotional needs. adn those needs are pretty high. ideally, my lover should be my best friend, one whom i can share anything with..honestly. I like that best friend aspect, better than the favorite object aspect,Yes I like Venus in Virgo too, a little too much attention to detail sometimes, I feel like I need an expresso to keep up with everything. Natasha

ok *hehe* as i was typing the previous post, this song was playing in my mind. Slow Hand - Pointer Sisters
"As the midnight moon was drifting through The lazy sway of the trees I saw the look in your eyes looking into mine Seeing what you wanted to see Darlin' don't say a word 'cos I already heard What your body's saying to mine I'm tired of fast moves, I've got a slow groove On my mind I want a man with a slow hand I want a lover with an easy touch I want somebody who will spend some time Not come and go in a heated rush I want somebody who will understand When it comes to love I want a slow hand On shadowed ground with no one around And a blanket of stars in our eyes We are drifting free, like two lost leaves On the crazy wind of the night Darlin' don't say a word 'cos I already heard What your body's saying to mine If I want it all night, you say it's alright We got the time 'Cos I got a man with a slow hand I got a lover with an easy touch I've found somebody who will spend some time Not come and go in a heated rush I've found somebody who will understand When it comes to love I want a slow hand If I want it all night, please say it's alright It's not a fast move but a slow groove On my mind 'Cos I got a man with a slow hand I got a lover with an easy touch I've found somebody who will spend some time Not come and go in a heated rush I've found somebody who will understand I've found a lover with a slow hand Lover with a slow hand And I get all excited with his easy touch I've found somebody who will spend the night Not come and go in a heated rush"

yea I have venus in virgo too and I am very, very motherly to my boyfriend and ex's and my best friends, and I also feel hurt when I do something for somebody small or large and it goes unnotice, it really hurts my feelings. I don't enter serious relationships unless I know that person might be the one lol. I like relationships with a lot of affections, but I hate to be smothered and bothered all the time. IP: Logged | |
