Topic: Tricky Question: Who To Trust???

I've made some interesting contacts these last couple of weeks. A particular, potentially wonderful(!)personal contact...and a particular business contact, the question being about the latter.
The contact comes from a developing country, and in theory I can ship my products over there. However, caution is recommended when dealing with that particular country. There is some risk that it might be a scam (financial or otherwise). I have felt a little in two minds ever since I first communicated by email with them.
In theory, of course, I don't like saying no. Aries never does!!! But I do NOT want to be rushed into things and I think that what they are asking of me is possibly too much for a small company like mine to take on board.
They could be genuine and I could just be cynical. But I get this voice at the back of my mind saying: if in doubt, leave out.
And Arian intuition is supposed to be one of the best in the zodiac.
And I know that when I trust my intuition, I'm usually right, for better or worse.
But half of me wants to say yes (because of the fact that it's a potential job) and half of me wants to say no (because I understand the risks involved).

You are more naive than some and you take more risks, that is good but the best solution is to do what you are doing, get as many opinions as possible. Make sure to weigh them equally without emotion.Be logical, if it's too good to be true it is, if you can't verify the funds in your hand before sending product do not. I have been ripped off many times, but I feel being in business is worth the risk. However, it does hurt to be taken advantage of, even once. Others have been there, Which country are you considering?
And have you received payment, or even a partial payment or deposit yet?

From what they say in their latest communication, it looks like I would need to arrange certain things which I did NOT bank on doing, i.e. I would look to them to arrange those sorts of things, not me. (BTW - no money has been exchanged)
Something inside me says, don't go there!!!I am talking to some people who I do business with that I trust, and they, and Mr. Aqua, all say the same thing: contact the relevant governmental organisations. They are also slightly cynical, which I think in this instance is fairly healthy!!! Thanks, Natasha! IP: Logged |

Arian intuition is good? Since when? I do know that every Aries I've known has wanted to believe that, even when the evidence was blatantly pointing to the contrary. I don't mean to mean, but a very dear Arian friend died as the result of following his "Arian intuition." And that's because he often confused genuine intuition with his more ego-based impulses and desires - now that I've seen very consistantly with Aries. It's not a fire sign's nature to be introspective enough to have really good intuition - they have impulses and hunches, yes, but that doesn't necessarily mean those feelings are root in objective reality or are genuinely in tune with who and what's around them. Fire just isn't receptive in that way and we must take into account the elemental nature of the signs when understanding them. Especially Aries, which in the zodiac is about the primordial ego, and therefore prior to contact with the rest of creation from which one draws intuitive responses. Even in the cyclic sense, Aries still is the starting or restarting point, the "square one," and consequently can be very naive and oblivious to many things, even things it already knows from previous cycles. Aries can be very successful, but their success in founded more on aggressiveness, the willing to take risks and sheer determination rather than and prudence, intuition and wise decision making. Sorry, but I'm extremely skeptical about you saying that and would have to caution you to seek more objective counsel before making such a decision. IP: Logged | |
