hi all,
what is the effect of say my asc opposition my partners sun in synastry. Also, what other factors would be present if my sun was to be opposite my partners asc in addition to my asc opposite her asc in our charts? Thanks!

It would make her Sun lie in your seventh house, the house of relationships, which could be a very good thing. It is also the house of open enemies.... so.....hmmmmm.

Supposedly, if person A's Sun or moon is conjunct person B's DESC, that's very positive. DESC reflects the type of person we are usually most compatible with or possesses triats that would complient our own. As for ASC oppo ASC, I don't know, but I doubt it would cause too many probems in an of itself.

This aspect produces romantic and sexual attraction. You balance each other’s self-awareness and self-expression with opposite points of view that compensate for each other’s weaknesses. If you can handle it, the ability to see your own reflection accurately in the other’s eyes allows you both to understand and come to grips with your conditioning and behaviors. There is a mutual sharing of social, cultural and religious activities.

There is a strong spiritual link between the two of you. It is extremely important that you both respect the other’s independence and selfness, independent of the relationship.

If you mean that both of you have the same aspect to the other, then yes that makes the aspect more intense. In this case, that would be very good.

Hmm, I must have confused it somewhere.

Interesting combo though.

The person im interested in is Pisces Sun and Pisces Asc.

And me well Im Virgo Sun and Virgo Asc.

Oppositions can be a very strong bond... and never boring! Usually compatible, but depends on the rest of both the charts involved.
