I agree that Gemini Nymph may not feel her time is being used most wisely. She's offered a tremendous offering of firsthand experiences, not to mention a grasp on research and information gathering. I wish there were more who can collaborate with her.

Thank you - you are always welcome here regardless.

She's been nothing but upfront with "the way she is" from the very beginning.

"Don't you guys think this is a little harsh?"

welp, blue roamer, don't you think what you said about geminis to begin with sounded a little harsh? surely you admit it could have easily been taken that way (harshly), even if you didn't mean it as such.

not that you aren't entitled to your own opinion, of course. you most certainly are. i'm just saying when you state your opinion in the way you did, it's not all that surprising that some people reacted the way they did.

and you know, most or perhaps even all here who're reading your posts don't really know you (not that i do, either), so you shouldn't really be taken aback when people pounce upon you defending themselves or others upon a perceived attack. they certainly didn't know you weren't really serious. i mean, how could they? you didn't include any disclaimer stating as such.

just a couple things for you to consider.

OH, HE____lllllllllllll NO!!! BACK UP, JUNIOR. j/k WAZZZZZZZZZ UP???? I apparently have missed a few things......no,no,no.......GN, you are way too valuable to this forum. I am sorry if you feel that you are wasting your time an energy here, however, I (being selfish) disagree. You have taught me and others soooooo much, how can that be wasting time (feeling guilty yet?) I have always thoroughly enjoyed reading your posts and admire your intelligence (am I changing your mind?), you are definately one of a kind, and besides your wit cracks me up and your knowledge is unbelievable, very thorough in everything you say (I admire) and (how am I do'in?) and a think that you should reconsider....and umm, c'mon, you've become a valuable fixture in these here parts, don't leave (now resorted to begging, and whinning)..................and now I have to run kids to soccer, shoot.....but, but, but........please re-think. It really would be ashame to see you go, you are a great teacher.

I don't believe I've had much personal interaction with you, GeminiNymph, but I do read your posts with great interest and always appreciate your wealth of knowledge and insight. I'll be sad if you go, but you must do what you feel is best for you. You have a lot to offer to this world. I wish you the best.

Gemini Nymph, I would be really sorry to see you go. I've been away for a few days, so I had to take a minute to catch up... I just read the "I love Geminis" thread... Please don't leave over some bullcrap like that. You bring a lot of knowledge and insight to Linda Land, it would be a damn shame to lose you over the idiocy in that thread.

However, I do understand your frustration and had I read the same things about Aquarians on a bad day, I'd probably get pretty upset (remember when I got upset about some bad Cappy moon interpretation I read on the net? I came in here guns a blazing, taking names, lol). So if you need to take a break, I understand totally, but please don't leave for good {{{hugs}}}

Noreenz~ that was a great read! Really felt that.

Blueroamer~ I read your original post, before you changed it to the 'cry me a river' one. You really are a piece of work. Maybe you are someone who can get away with that behaviour in your everyday life, with a wink and a pout and a 'If you don't take me seriously, or if I pretend to be joking, I can say whatever I want' attitude. You can recant after saying something horrendous, just for fun.
Good. leave. Better you, who comes in when you are bored, to stir up sh!t, just to make an impression, than someone who actually contributes positively, leaving because of your negativity.
Good. Leave with a guilty conscience. Then maybe the lesson will be one that sticks.. that you can't get away with everything just because you have a handy excuse.
I am as humourous as the next chica, but people know when I mean it. This board welcomes a lot of different walks of peeps.... but you must offer something redeemable. I tried. Maybe you can come in with a happy attitude and a joke, instead of a biting, bitchy one. Maybe we will know where you come from next time.
Signed, The Insectazoid.

My door has been known to swing, but not that wildly.
Besides, you're annoying.

Hi sparkling one!
I am bored and it's late. I was playing.
Naw, I am almost sure you said you was a bird ( my impression of 'Ali G') and stuff.
Now you've changed that post again.. I think it's like four times now. I like the nicey nice one.
* of course *

now, if you wanna play, let's corrall us up into a new thread and let GeminiNymph have her Peace.
If you want to play, let's go over to Free-for-all. LibraSparkle mods there, she's cool, her parents let her drink!!!!
Meet ya' there in five! If not, I shall take my images of whale dongs and go to sleep. *holding myself!!!*
