Pluto will be in Sag for about four more years, and I have four planets in Sag. Since Pluto rules transformation and rebirth, does it have more of an effect than say a Saturn return?

Very little has more effect than a saturn return, but since Pluto only travels through a few signs in one's lifetime, it's aspects are powerful and meaningful.

i have 5 planets in sag. and pluto went through them at the same time when one has natural transformation in their lives...ie, adolsence to youth. so i'm still to figure out how pluto has affcted me or how muc transformation was in pluto's hands.

Some of us get Pluto transits late in life. Near my 65th birthday, Pluto began hitting my North Node.
(I should say that, in my opinion, North Node represents where/how/from whom/ we get attention.)
During this ensuing period, my adult sons, on whom I have always previously been able to depend---things like home upkeep, etc.---have done a 180. Two became very unkind, one just "forgot" me. HOWEVER...during the same period my presence on the web has been established. From there, I am getting attention and appreciation in unprecidented amounts.

During 2005, (my 68th year) I will be experiencing Pluto crossing my Moon....widely conjunct NN. All of this occurs in the second house, so I expect the appreciation to convert into an increased income.
(Pluto is supposed to transform your finances and there is only one way that can go!! So, like so many "firey" natives, I find that hope springs eternal.)

Later, I should have more to report on Pluto transits.

Not really sure how to qualify that, but consider how difficult a Saturn transit can be if hovering over someone's Moon in Cancer. A restaining of emotions, usually not knowing if coming or going.

A Pluto transit goes even slower, but it doesn't have that suffocating mother hen feel to it. To me, Pluto allows you to experience more. Like it's more of a necessary "cleaning house" experience

Pluto is STILL trying to finish it's transit through my 7th House, and to someone who is kind of wondering why no relationships are falling fully into place. Given the choice, and the wiser you become, the more you welcome the harder astrological seasons & lessons.

What would it mean if Pluto is transiting your third house, where you have Venus and Neptune?

Aqua Girl -

I'd venture to say an ending to some "lovely emotions" ??? What do you think?

i'm gonna make a guess here and say:

maybe a change in the way you see someone you love. perhaps like taking off your rose colored glasses? or maybe just a change in the way you use that energy, like realizing it is bad to idealize someone and transforming that energy into writing a romance novel and making big bucks?

getting artsy and creative?

i'm just guessing here. i'm just a student.

Noticable?

Pluto danced thru my 11th house all thru my childhood... aspecting my moon, Uranus, and Venus.

Can you just imagine what that was like?

Then it be-bopped thru my 12th house... which is Scorpio...and now its going to take on my 1st house, which is most Sag, and play with my Neptune...

did I also mention that Pluto is my chart ruler? (i think, anyways... chart ruler is the planet that rules your Asc, right?)

Yeah, I would love it if someone explained all that to me, but I pretty much work it out by intuition.....and experience. My childhood sucked, with lots of catastrophic changes and loss (i went to 3 different schools in one year, for example, b/c my dad kept changing jobs.) My brother almost died, etc and so on... so I guess I should really pay attention to Pluto, eh?

(but i have a feeling She likes me

Possibly... all those things I am concentrating on my writing more, trying to get serious about getting things published... not sure about "lovely" emotions, maybe "trying" emotions... also... I suppose since Pluto is transiting my 3rd house, in the last few years it's been in the 2nd... I definitely had issues with money and being materialistic and being focused on status... I don't care about that stuff anymore. Like, at all.
