How could a Transiting Venus or Mars in Scorpio make one feel so sad? And this is with a Sun into Sag already?

Astro Junkie, I am so low tonight. Just a few days ago I was this strong and confident beast and today I just feel so weak and lonely even. What is this? Taurus moon? I don't know, I'm not good at reading the skies. I feel like giving up all the struggles, getting away from everyone- except for one person..though I don't know him yet. Someone gentle and calm to sleep next to far away from all this sh*t. I hate sounding like this "I want love." But f*ck I guess I really do. Maybe it's good to admit it. I sound like such a "woman" don't I? Ugh. ... can't be helped I suppose..in the end..

I was reflecting tonight.. I had band practice, and had a great time, rehashing saturday's fun. I got a bit tipsy.. We went out afterwards and had some fun.
I thought it was strange that, knowing it was a Taurus Moon, I wanted to just party, instead of like get deeply into something.
Definately a sensual vibe to the air, I felt like crawling instead of walking.. on all fours, panther-like.
Started my period a week early.*BLAH*
Good thing, maybe.......
I mean, it is Wednesday, for gosh sakes!!!!!

whiterabbit, please don't take this the wrong way . . . but I 've always thought of you as a strong, masculine type. Not to say that you're manly or anything, but you sound anything but weak IMO.

By the way, why do we characterize "needy" with "woman"? Most women I know are far from needy. (off topic, I know. Sorry)

aj,

I think it could make someone sad if Mars was transiting their 12th or 8th house. Also if it is making hard aspects to their Moon or Saturn. I've been moody lately.

Mars is currently transiting my 9th house, about to conjunct my MC. Which is nice because I need to find a new job and that should help out. ......although, it will be conjuncting my Uranus as it is also conjuncting my MC.........

Hmmmmm ... no such Transits here, it may be a weather-related thing. Floridians are extremely - anyways - it's been overcast & light showers. Would have snow flurries if much cooler temp.

AH!

Check this out! Explains my curiousity amongst an already sad world -

"Selfless service ***
This is a very peculiar influence and is usually accompanied by strange feelings. You are likely to feel extremely irritable and itchy without quite knowing why. And at the same time you may feel discouraged and incapable of doing anything useful. Feelings of weakness and inferiority are quite common during this time, but it is best not to take these feelings too seriously. This time is good for any activity that is totally selfless and involves serving others. These activities are the exception to the rule that you shouldn't begin anything now. However, you must be certain that you are not working for secret and selfish advantage through these activities. If you are, it will come to naught. On the physical level, you should be careful not to abuse your body during this period.

The interpretation above is for your transit selected for today:
Mars Conjunction Neptune exact at 20:17
activity period from 24 November 2004 to 27 November 2004."

(astro.com)

"Common-sense answers
Weak, transient effect: Today during the day you will keep your emotions under control, not in a repressive, negative manner, but in a way that enables you to take a more sober and realistic view of life. You are able to put up with considerable adversity and strain during this time because it gives you patience and reserve strength. While you are not inclined to talk about your feelings to just anyone, you do not evade them in yourself. You may very well go off by yourself at this time to think about and evaluate your development. If you have a problem, seek out an older person whose wisdom you respect, who can offer emotional support and suggest practical and immediate answers. You need common-sense answers now that can be applied directly.

Transit selected for today (by user):
Moon Trine Saturn exact at 16:12
activity period from 25 November 2004 to 26 November 2004."

"A need for intimacy
Weak, transient effect: This is a time of deep feelings. Tonight you want to be surrounded by familiar people and objects that remind you of pleasant past experiences. It is a good time to be with relatives and family and to go over old times with them. Or you may feel like doing nothing more adventurous than staying home and curling up with a good book. With this influence there is a great need for intimacy, which you wish to share with the people you are in contact with today. When you are with a group or before the public under this influence, you are able to establish a good rapport. This is a good time for making any kind of public presentation. Friends, especially female friends, are important to you at this time. You have the ability to sit with them, listen to their troubles and offer a sympathetic ear, as well as good advice.

Transit selected for today (by user):
Moon Sextile Moon exact at 21:38
activity period from 25 November 2004 to 26 November 2004."

Yep!! That'll do it. Those Mars/Neptune contacts - it happens every time. I've been going through a slow moving Neptune opposite my natal Mars in the seventh for a while now, due to Neptune going retrograde and all. It's not an easy transit, especially when Neptune is in your first house. That explains alot to me.......I'd sort of forgot that that transit was going on with me. ......so yeah, I can relate.

What house is this conjunction happening in in your chart?

And I'm thinking the Transiting Moon in Taurus opposing the Natal Scorp stuff too. No wonder it's accompanied by that lack of (physical/spiritual) satisfaction. Romantic Taurus people with romantic Scorp people, from what I'VE seen only works when it's very physical.

This is an interesting pattern... Venus & Mars in Scorpio Transiting my 6th. My Natal Venus & Pluto in Virgo are Conjunct.

Kind of ties energies between these together, and looking at it objectively, seems disappointing in areas of romance. Or, at least the feeling thereof, for now.

Indeed. Virgo and Scorpio energies blend well together. Yes, the sixth house isnt the best place for transiting Venus and Mars in terms of love life. It would be good for meeting someone through your job or workplace but romantically speaking it's usually not the most exciting time.

The best is yet to come, you'll see.

Oh?

Another delay? *sympathetic sighs*

You'll make it. I know it.

I am a bit weary of guerillas in South America. Patagonia is on the back-burner (again!).

I've been looking up air fares to Paris for a possible trip in February. $578.98 round-trip. Not bad, eh? Hostelling and a Euro-Rail pass adds flexibilities I like.

Are you really going to Ho-Bo it?

Cha cha cha,

Aphrodite

Yeah - seems like it's always something though, doesn't it? The thing is, when I really get my tracks down, there is no telling where I may end up, and like you, I've got my eye on these unstable regions.

There is some hesitation on my part right now because I'm leaning towards needing familarity, as opposed to being all excited about a new adventure with new contacts.

But these current Transits seem to be putting up a smoke & mirror of some sort, like there is an apparent ease with Sun, Merc & Pluto in Sag, Moon in Gemini. But you know, some majorly intense stuff is being worked out in the background.

I know this not only from the sense I get, but from observation of others, of course.

Maybe that "hidden" intensity is Transiting Venus & Mars in Scorpio.
