Anyone who is stuck with any muck, please form a line over here in the 1st colorless valueless lane. All those not stuck with muck stand over here in the 2nd colorless valueless lane.I'd like to hear only valid suggestions as to what should be done with muck. I'll personally grant the one with the muck problem a one-way limo ride (with whirlpool & hotties included), or a one-way plane ride (with whirlpool & hotties included). pixie ~ those were lovely sentiments but I wonder if everyone else shares them  I can't speak for Juni but being branded a "cult peep" doesn't exactly make me feel comfortable around here. Why do I stick around? Honest to God, I haven't the slightest idea. Eventually I'll come to my senses. Maybe I'll get lucky and AJ will give me a one way ticket out of here.  (I'll pass on the whirlpool and hottties option)LS ~ if I were a moderator and my moderating skills were being questioned I suppose I would think it tiresome too. But Harpyr raises a good question, I think. I've read the thread, you probably have too? I can't even begin to imagine why it was closed. As a moderator, maybe you could give us some insight? Tink, I don't know why the thread was closed either. I wasn't around at the time whatever went down.The only insight I have to offer is that this LL is anti Free Speech nonsense is really starting to annoy me. I have read Randall's words defending a person's right to free speech enough times to know that any one accusing him of otherwise is simply up to stirring things up... like muck. I know that I am not inhibiting people's free speech... and I don't believe any of the Mods are. A simple, "Why was that string closed?", would have sufficed. IMO, this is nothing more than a continuation of daf's rant on the soap box in FFA (which got moved to GU because of it's tone... but that's inhibiting free speech). IP: Logged |

The string was obviously taking a bad turn, so AJ exercised her discretion and closed it. If it were me, I would have maybe let it go on a while longer or moved it to GU, but it was clearly on a downward spiral. Maybe we could have turned the Energy around had we tried, but what's done is done. The Mods here do what they feel is best for Lindaland. I trust and support them. If I didn't, they wouldn't be Mods. That doesn't mean we never make mistakes or lose our tempers or never cross that line of impartiality, but all in all, every one of us tries our best.  Juni, your Energy has changed since Daf's demon accusations a while back and since you stepped down as Mod. I'm not saying it's for better or for worse, because it is not for me to make such determinations; all I'm saying is you're different. I hope all is well and that you are happy on the Path life is guiding you toward.  ------------------

I love you all and just go home from work, when all I really wanted to do was spend the day with my kids. Eating finger food and playing board games ( possibly bored games...) Dissappointment is rampant tonight.. and it is all projected.I think people should please stop with the categorization and grouping.
Even the purest soul raises MUCK every once and a while... so what? It is done, maybe it didn't have to be raised in such a way ( I sensed frustration) but also, I have said a lot of things in a harsher way than they needed to be said. That doesn't tke away the initiative being a pure one.. a gennuine question.
I know it is comfortable to place people in certain 'groups' it is done all over the place.... for all sorts of reasons.. it is comfortable and acceptable for the most part.. a certain bias is almost necessary in this confusing world of labels.
BUT.
I am not going to point fingers, or witch hunt or claim to have the answers.. I am simply going to raise my hand in the middle of this square, and say stop for a minute please. Just for right now.

Defensiveness and offensiveness is coming up in the most unlikely places now. I know that sometimes you need to stir things up to see wherew they fit.
I just want to say I am completely middle road here.
A few comments that perhaps fit with a certain thread.. a certain contravercial subject have now permeated the way people see others who have (It seemed) co-existed peacefully and happily before.
Can we not, instead of segregating each other, segregate the divisions and put them where they belong? With that thread and in the past?
Maybe heal a little and see with an open heart instead of with preconceved ideas and preferences?
Just because, I find great value in many things.. sometimes it is surprising.
We all have filters that work constantly.. like shrimp eating microscopic nutrition and then some crap.. their feelers constantly moving as they search the ocean currents.
So be shrimp. You don't have to point out the Lobsters, the manta rays and the sharks.. they are simply different. They eat differently.

here here....randall, i have only kinda arrived and i now know why you are respected. you are very ...i reeally dont know which word can justify...you are very good at what you do.the reason I love this site is becos it is what it is...open minded where we can share thoughts that cross our minds, learn different perspectives of others.... aj, seems to be inflexible...only open to the things that are within the possibilities of her mind and closed to what others might think....can you hand on your heart say for certain that what leyla was saying is false? it might seem far fetched....TO YOU...but it is obviously important to her and her community. we should be able to speak without it being taken soo personally... In the thread that was closed, someone was justifying the "terrorist" claim with something about an attack on London, but nothing has happened here as far as we know. F#ck knows what it's doing in Astrology anyway.

It was posted in the Astrology Forum because Leyla wanted to discuss any possible correlation between the plane crash and the astrological transits of the day. The "London incident" refered to an uncovered plot to fly airplanes into high profile buildings in London. It was widely reported in America. Maybe if Leyla's post was written in french you might have had an easier time understanding it?
