 OK, ok, if you must insist, I'll tell ...Well, from what I've been through, I would say that We Aries-Risings (hehe) are basically, upon first meeting, for your Rising Sign is your "mask", quite upbeat, friendly, talkative, impulsive in thought and action (which lead to frequent bumps and bruises on the hands, feet, and face) , trusting, quick-tempered, generous, and a tad self-centered and impatient. Now, if you know me, the inside me, I have a tremendous amount of pride (Leo Venus and Moon), very very critical of self and others, especially table and conversational manners, easily stressed/overwhelmed, paranoid of people's motives (Pluto in the 7th house of relationships), very slow to make up my mind/cautious, guarded except if you've really passed the loyalty test (Virgo Sun), skillfull/biting with words (Virgo Merc)...etc. BTW, Aries moons are the same characteristics, except only in relation to emotions, and you wouldn't see it on the surface, until you see them handle an emotional extreme. ------------------

my man is Aries/sun and Aries/Acendant - which I believe is whats known as a Double sing, so Double Aries ... Yea...I have an aries rising....when I first meet people I seem to be more outgoing and extroverted, very forward and friendly....then afterawhile after i've know them for awhile, i tend to get shy...(maybe that's the pisces sun in the 11th?) IP: Logged |

I know a young boy with Aries rising, Capricorn sun. Very athletic and energetic. He's only 8, but he is one of the most sincere, insightful, intelligent and genuinely ambitious people I have ever known. He's definately a problem solver, and at times he asks questions that are so innocent, but at the same time, startling in their maturity and show such a profound insight, that I can't even answer him. I have to think about it for a few minutes, and recover from the weight of the question first. Like "If I die, will I still be able to talk to my mom and my freinds?" let me put it this way.... i have a load of aries in my first house (along with the Aqua Asc and the Pisces)... and on my second cusp which is another story... this is one sign I just DON'T get! help me get it - see it! I can't SEE an Aries Venus (my ex) or an Aries Moon (my current) ;-) and I can't relate to the part of aries that would eventually come out in my own behaviour... I have an Aries SN, so I keep bumping into people with Aries loads... like the Aries Asc guy I fell in love with and couldn't get a clue about I can SEE an Asc. you know it better cos u're living it  like I know my Aqua Asc... give me a 'picture' I can remember and understand (did I mention my Mercury - neptune conj?)... some sort of personal insight that would give me an insight: "woah! so that's what it's all about " can ya? huh? can ya? Cristiname, I know what you mean about needing a picture (see my post on Scorpio and Pisces) so I'll try my best to help.I'm married to an Aries Asc, Sag Sun. He also has an Aries moon. Someone before mentioned being seen as "jerk" and I think sometimes my hubby can come off like that.
He's just very, very, very impulsive. His ideas and frequent and many and he wants to do them NOW! He is very take action and generally pretty friendly and upbeat. For example, our cat is a complete psycho (ironically born under the Aries sun)and just this morning we found a big patch of carpet that she had apparently worked on over night with her claws. He yells at her, gets all ticked off, starts ranting and raving about how the cat's days are numbered, and how he works hard all week and doesn't need this cat to ruin the work he's put into the house (being eight months pregnant he has taken over a lot of the housekeeping). Anyway, none of this ranting is to me directly, its just to the cat, or really the air because the cat is no where to be found. After about fifteen minutes of this, he cleans up after her and then says "Well, I guess she's not that bad. it's a good thing she's cute." That's the best example I can think of, since it happened this morning. He does this ranting, then calming down immediately thing a lot. So I'd describe Aries rising as having a lot of energy that expelled right at once, then dissipates quickly. I know a lot of this behavior also has to do with his Mars in Gemini but there is a lot of Aries impulsiveness in there. IP: Logged | |
