Hi everyone! I thought I would take a moment to introduce my self and share my story which relates to one of your recent posts. First, let me say I'm glad I found this board you guys are a friendly bunch. 
I went to an Astrologer a while back and was told that I will never marry my current fiancee, and that I will within two years pretty much abandon my spiritual quest. This Astrologer told me that my current relationship is only like a test for my real marriage and that it will not last. The odd are all against us. This shook me up pretty bad and installed a lot of fear in me. For a long time I was so unhappy because I kept thinking I'm going to lose my fiancee. This woman (Astrologer) put real fear in me. I cannot explain in words how I felt. Until now. I've decided to pick up Astrology and study it. I'm a so fascinated by it. There's so much to learn. Through studying Astrology I've come to realize what the concept of FREE WILL is. I've also come to realize how I can use Astrology and how I cannot use it. I think as I learn more about it I'd like to see another astrologer to help me understand everything. But this time I will be a lot careful of whom I put my trust in. For a long time I thought my relationship was doomed no matter what, regardless of how I felt. Now I know better.
In conclusion maybe everything does happen for a reason. And if this astrologer would have never said all that to me, then i probably wouldn't have picked up Astrology, then i really would've missed out. I look forward to getting to know you all.  BTW I'm a Taurus Sun, Aquarius Rising and Sagittarius Moon. a little bit of everything lol IP: Logged |

Welcome Inka!  See, I think that astrologer was very irresponsible. You don't tell people fatalistic crap like that... it messed with their heads and with their sense of free will. So irresponsible. IP: Logged |

Hello and welcome.This doesn't have much to do with astrology, but did you see the matrix? Remember the part about the oracle? Maybe your astrologer is behaving similarly. I talked to an astrologer, and he told me some stupid stuff too. They are all full of it. Don't worry, be happy. IP: Logged |
