Hey keeeedz! Thanks for posting. When you say the planet ruling the seventh house do you mean like if it's ruled by aries, the planet would be mars? do planets in that house mean anything? Thanks a bunch! IP: Logged |

Look at the 8th house placement too. there was a discussion about that somewhere on this board just yesterday and after looking into that i am finding that to be Very telling.Say if your eighth house is Taurus you would look for a mate that is reliable, loyal, sensual and stable. Probably someone that is not necessarily a "white collar" type. IP: Logged |

Eeek... just looked at astro.com and my boyfriend has gemini ruling his 7th and I have cancer ruling mine. I'm definitely very emotional and intense (which would be bad for someone looking for a gemini type) and he's very bubbly and lighthearted, not even remotely empathetic (which is bad for my cancer 7th!)I'm renaming you Doom-Master! 7th house definitely rings true for me. My 7th house is ruled by Aries and my ex-husband was a Marine and my boyfriend is a police officer... of course 8th house is ruled by Taurus... quote:

no its not a stupid qs
the only stupid qs is the one that is not asked
ur seventh house exists but does not have any planets in it. ur seventh house is sagittarius, because it comes after the sixth (scorpio) and before the eighth (capricorn). although you do not have planets in it, check out its ruling planet (sagittarius ruling planet = jupiter) and check out where it is in ur chart. then see what the aspects to jupiter are in ur chart, and what the aspects to the seventh house are.
btw ur descendent is also sag so that means that jupiter, the ruling planet of 7th which implies a good partner will have some heavy jupiter influence, is supported by the fact that ur descendent which symbolizes the ideal partner, is also sagittarius.
u need a person who travels a lot, is enlightened, talkative, bright, honest, fiery, and loyal. hope that helps. IP: Logged |

none actually! Im running through a mental list and I can't think of one sag! Romantically - pisces and scorpio are my weakness and as for friends ... capricorns and taurus are really prevalent.Maybe I do need to find myself a nice sag. boy. Might lighten things up a bit! IP: Logged |

Secret Garden, can I ask what things I should look for in regards to Mars aspects (since my 7th house is ruled by Aries)... Without looking at my chart, it's conjunct the sun in the 5th house... so... Here, I found a link for this. I have a question though. My boyfriend and I both have sag rising. Most of what I read says that would mean both our seventh houses should be Gemini. But if I look at my chart it says his is gem and mine is cancer. Can anyone explain this?

For attraction - I first look at the Sun/Moon cross-aspects between them, and basically goes down the line from there. Asc is not that important to me, although it can be telling. But there is no guarantee the Sign/Ruler will fall in the 7th House away from the Asc. Sometimes, just depending on the exact degrees, things fall out of line like that. If so, see if you have any "doubles" of anything, and I'd say, it would have to play a major role in your life.Such as - if you have two houses ruled by the same Sign (which translates to it's Ruling Planet - and then see what House it's in if your Cusp is "empty). So if you have two House's taken up by Gemini, Mercury plays a huge role in your life. Look for more areas of your life it will affect by looking at the House your Mercury is in, and the Sign, etc. IP: Logged |

Futureuncertain, my 7th is ruled by Mercury in Gemini and I have lots of empathy, I may not always show it though, as I can be very proud and afraid of having my feelings hurt. My 8th is Cancer which is my moon.the 8th is more about the mate you are intimate with I believe, the 7th is about friendships, and it also rules enemies. The 6th is about co-workers, the 5th children and those you mentor. Your boyfriend has only one water placement
Uranus which is ruled by Aquarius, your Venus. He is attracted to Aquas, and Venus in Aquas, but Aqua is not traditionally empathetic, and aspects to Uranus to Venus do not produce empathy. He is unlikely to remember the same things you do, and he is attracted to women who are independent, but not superior, ones who are not as demanding as say someone who had a singleton in Neptune. Not to say Uranus singletons do not have empathy, they do, but combined with your aspects and so many 10th house placements in his chart, there is not as much communication here. You may feel your natural feelings being stopped, or blocked around him, because of what he finds attractive, or not. uranus also rules sexual attraction, and change. It's tough but you may feel sometimes it's more of a brother/sister relationship but with benefits. Natasha

Future -This is a very emotional relationship, if not outwardly emotional, your emotions are much more involved with each other than any others. There is a very serious 10th House emphasis here, but you are selective and agreeable as to the company you keep. HIS heart is REALLY on fire for you. You've got his heart hook, line & sinker. You not only have the double Mercury Cusps, you also have it's opposite, Jupiter. This keeps the relationship very lively. I cannot imagine too much boredom here. BTW - that's the degrees talking on your "doubles" there. Whatever degrees one House has on it's Cusp, the House of it's opposite Ruler will be in the same exact degrees. There are other dualities like that in astrology. Such as the North Node and the South Node. The Ascendant and the Descendant. Astro, I got a lump in my throat when I read what you wrote. And Sthenri, you're right, I do feel my natural feelings kind of blocked around him, kind of like I express myself and it makes him happy, but I never am quite sure if he's feeling the depths of what I'm saying. If AJ is correct, then possibly things are getting to him more than what he lets on. That would be a huge relief to me!Thank you, thank you, thank you for doing this for me. (All of you, here and in soul unions.) Sthenri, you probably see a relationship between this post and my other one in SU. I think I've adequately gotten my questions answered, both astrologically and psychologically. This relationship means a lot to me and I feel much more able now not to screw it up. Aquarian Girl...You are totally freaking me out LOL..I have a very late Virgo rising- so most of my 7th house is in Aries (it also contains my Aries moon) -and I have most of Taurus in the 8th (containing my Saturn in Taurus). My ex-husband was in law enforcement and my current Fiance is a Military Police Officer in the Army (and will become a law enforcement agent when he is out in 2006).
