The Out'tie -I've had to just get this off my chest, and rarely with such a complete passion, and with such reverberating righteousness (although to me it's just plain and on the line) ... All you people who have sites which contain a page with a variety of "clickable" icons, avatars or smilies, who then think they can turn around and accuse any of us of, and I quote, "stealing broadband" can kiss my american-loving azz. You're in the wrong business and you're looking like a total farce, as far as I'm concerned. You disgust me. Thank you and BIG GRACIOUS thank-you's to those sites whose images we use freely and gratefully here at our forum. For we as a people of astrological leanings, would not choose your images in the first place had we not thought them worthwhile. (PS: YOU get the exposure your site needs/wants/deserves).

Mystic -I appreciate your question - but remember - I've Mercury, Mars & Neptune in Scorpio in the 6th House. A Venus & Pluto Conjunct in Virgo in the 4th. CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR MARRIAGE! Waahoooooooooooooooooooo!  As for those whiny webmasters... if they are so concerned they can very easily install a script on their servers that doesn't allow their images to display on sites other than their own... dummies. If it's SUCH a problem, then fix it!!! People aren't going to stop hyperlinking your images because they just don't "get" broadband and even if they "get it"... they don't care. IP: Logged |

Aquarian Girl -Everything on the Internet is so "up for grabs" that it's literally reinventing what we used to know as "copyright laws" - and that's right - there's enough software out so they can avoid accusing people of being "thieves". Quick thing about stealing bandwidth...It can be annoying for, say, someone like me that pays for my webspace and if someone hyperlinks images from my space all over the net and then more people do it, etc. and then I'm forced to pay for it. Really hypthetically speaking because I have a ton of bandwidth and it would take astronomical efforts to raise my prices. But I guess that's an example of why people would be annoyed if you use their bandwidth rather than just downloading their gifs/pictures and putting them on your own space.
