My sister is a Gemini... My mother doesn´t remember accurately when she was born (She says it was very late, after midnight but it was still dark). My mum says it was later than my brother (who was born about 1am).

A computer generated chart, indicates she is a Taurus rising if she was born between 3am and 5am. Before 3am would make her an Aries rising and after 5am, a Gemini rising...

She is adamant she can´t be a Taurus rising. She arguments she has two Taurus (Sun)friends and she´s not like them at all... (She doesn´t like thinking she has any of those stubborn and fixed qualities...) She thinks Gemini is cool and would prefer to be a Gemini rising...

I don´t know how to make her understand that she will always be a Gemini anyway, those are her key characteristics... The ascendant only defines how you appear to people who doesn´t know you...

I think she is a typical Gemini but she has a heavier look the first time you meet her... She´s not pushy as an Aries would be... But I don´t know enough about Taurus to give enough evidence...

Can anyone tell me how would affect a Aries, Taurus or Gemini ascendant to a Gemini Sun? What would be the differences?

She´s being quite stubborn about that... Like a taurus

His Sun is quite at the end of Gemini (last degrees). My mother says it was still dark... so her Sun must be in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd house but never in the 12th (it would have been day...).

Aries risings can be very independent emotionally, they do need to be liked as much, but do like to be appreciated. Aries risings like to collect beautiful items and both Taurus and Aries risings are more into caring for their home, like to spend more time at home with family than Gemini risings. Aries and Taurus risings are independent but not pushy in anyway, they are not assertive in relationships, Gemini risings are more demanding, and like to organize things.

Aries risings do not need to be hugged, as much as Gemini risings, and may even be quiet about how they feel. Gemini and Taurus risings are more expressive.

My sister is an Aries rising/12th house, but she still is very independent emotionally, very quiet about how she feels. Since her 1st house is Taurus, she is a homebody now later in life. She also doesn't get along with Arians.

My mother is a Gemini rising and she is always the first to voice her opinion.

I have a Taurus, Gemini and Aries rising in my family so I could tell the difference if I was there. Try and describe your sister more in terms of her likes and dislikes. Gemini risings sometimes do clash with Taurus Suns.

Your sister sounds so far like a Taurus rising/12th house, then her first house would be Gemini. But that's just an opinion on what I've read.

I also have a 12th house Ascendant, in Scorpio, but my first house is ruled by Sag, so my relationships have a Sag feel to them even if my basic desires are Scorpio, I have to live up to what my Sag side wants. My life partner will have a Sag influence.

I also clash with Scorpio suns because they bring out parts of me I don't always want to see.

There may be other planets on your sisters ascendant, or 1st house clouding the issue. If she has Uranus conjunct ascendant for example, she will act more like an Aquarius rising.

Wow, I´m so lucky about having you as a consultant... We have met several times already in this web and I think you are very good at this... Plus the fact that you have the three possible cases very close...

Right, my sister...

She has tons of friends and acquaintances, the phone never stops ringing at home... I would say that´s just her Gemini Sun... She would stay hours on the phone even when she needs to go because she won´t say that in case she´ll hurt someone´s feelings... Could that be a 11th house in Pisces? Not all who she consider her friends are true friends, many just use her. She has trouble spotting that, always looking to the best side of everyone.

She is studying to be an Architect and she always says she is slow creating. She doesn´t go for flashy, modern and empty designs that just look good. She wants something functional, with architectural basis. I would say that´s a clear Earth influence... Doesn´t it sound Taurus?

She is very hard working and work nights in a row to be able to hand in the projects on time... She says that´s not a sign for Taurus raising because everybody do that in her class...

She is chatty but at the same time quiet... Her tone is low and velvetry, soft and caressing, sweet... She speaks a lot of words like "love", "sweetie", gorgeous"...

She does a lot of listening but hardly speaks about herself. She keeps her feelings quiet. She knows most of my love life but I hardly know anything about hers... (That could actually be a Scorpio 7th house...).

I would say she is stubborn... She has big arguments with my dad because she won´t tolerate her opinions to be dismissed. She won´t accept the possibility of having a Taurus rising just because she doesn´t like it and looks for any possible excuse to refute it.

She is absent-minded. She often loses things and puts stains on her clothes!! She has a modern look and very nice smile.

Even when I´m 3 years older than her, people who don´t know that always think she´s older. They also remark she looks very serious and responsible (It must be my Saggitarius ascendant tricking them )

She loves Librans and other Gemini. She has several close Leo female friends. She finds hard to treat with Scorps and Arians (two of my favourites). She doesn´t like Cappies... But this is so difficult to tell as she knows so many people and appears to get on well with everybody!!!

All her planets are placed between Gemini and Saggitarius.
