As a Pisces Venus, I find myself most "on the same wavelength" with fellow Water Venus signs, particularly Venus in Scorpio. Whether I am or am not best friends with them - when I look into their eyes, I get the feeling that they always UNDERSTAND - at a deep level, there is an emotional sensitivity and rapport there. People with Venus in Fire signs are also quite compatible, I probably have the least understanding from Venus in Earth signs. Anyne else notice Venus-Venus patterns? IP: Logged |

Yes I have seen that every Pisces Venus I know, gets along very well with Scorpio Venus, in the fact the two seem obsessed with each other. I don't know about fire/water. I have a volatile relationship with Scorpio and Cancer Venus. Pisces is okay.My Venus is Aries, I like fire Venus, and earth venus for blunt honesty, and Pisces and Cancer Venus for sensitivity. Do you think that would equally apply to all same-element Venus placements? Yes, There is basic compatibility between like elements, which contributes to a long lasting friendship, or relationship. One won't forget the other, plus the likes and dislikes are the same. And one cares deeply about the other in a protective way.Natasha

Natasha, You are so RIGHT about the Venus in Pisces/Venus in Scorpio relationship. Love/hate can come into it, but the obsession is always there, the two individuals can become very intertwined. Perhaps because the composite chart = Venus in Capricorn = a certain amount of commitment and devotion to each other?Oh, and if the relationship becomes too much to handle - once one has broken things off with a Scorpio Venus, there is a definite finality, one can never go back to where one was before...They are rather irresistible people, so it tends to be a long time before that happens. Whoaaa. I checked right now, and my best friend, probably the person that I've had the closest relationship with in my life outside of my immediate family, has her Venus in Libra, mine being in Aquarius. Odd, I just looked at my friend's charts, and it doesn't work out like that for me. I have Venus in Virgo, and with this theory I'd be best with those with Venus in Virgo/Cappy/Taurus. However, all of my very close friends have Venus in Libra! And I know 3 people with Venus in Gemini (another air sign) and don't do well with them. Weeeiiiird...IP: Logged |

I have Venus in Sag (conjuncting my Sun) and my ex hubby had Venus in Leo. We are still friends, but we didn't click physically.I am with a Venus in Cancer now and before him I was with a Venus in Gemini. I enjoy the Venus in water signs. They seem to understand me more and can offer the emotions that I need. Fire can do the same, but they don't seem to understand that even though I am strong and independant - I am still a woman...and I do need the hugs and kisses...Venus in water seems to know that instinctively. I can't say I am the best at reciprocating, but I do know that I add a bit (okay a ton) of spice into his Venus in Cancer and I also keep him from getting to "sensitive". I have the hardest time with Venus in Aquarius and Venus in Virgo.

i would TOTALLY agree. im a venus-aries and love people to death, protectively, loyally, when i do (not to mention venus is in seventh house, which is taurus!). the guy im TOTALLY crushing on nowadays (which seems so aloof i dont know what to make of it) has venus-leo. i find him just irresistable great insight natasha i totally agree; just becoz, for ex., i have a fire venus doesn't mean i dont get along with other element venuses. for example, my longest relationship was with a cancer venus for trining my scorpio moon, and being so understanding, supportive and emotionally there. Yes,same goes for other personal planets.. like mars/venus same elements.. Moon/Venus, etc. as in any synastry, once you learn the chart of someone you feel close to, you can usually pinpoint the areas of "A-HA!!!"IP: Logged |

This is too weird!I have a Cappy Venus, and most of the people I have been closest to have actually had water Venuses, best friend (female): Cancer venus; best friend (male): Cancer Venus; most strong connection between my venus and anothers: he has a Virgo Venus... odd... both earth. But most folks that have been my closest friends have had water or air venuses... I was also looking at the Venus/Mars aspects, and most of them are either air/air (as my Mars is in Aqua) or air/water... veddy intewesting... Ghani IP: Logged |

It's astonishing how it works!!! My father (Venus in Taurus) and my mother (Venus in Scorpio) had the kind of fascination for one another that came from being opposites. Since Taurus and Scorpio are opposites that may find it difficult to get along, their relationship was a fairly combustible one. They are still married, even though my father now lives with a woman with an Earth Venus, with whom he seems to be happier. His Sun is QCX her Sun. Interestingly enough, I am beginning a friendship with someone whose Sun has the same aspect to mine, and whose Venus is likewise trine my Venus.IP: Logged |

I have Venus in Pisces. I don't know. The people I seem to "click" with aren't of any particular element. They just have their Venuses in mutable signs. I guess I go more for the mode than the element. IP: Logged |

I have Venus in Scorpio, as do my two closest friends. We just get each other's sense of humor, and personality. The three of us are able to hang out with a sense of harmony, nobody feels left out or competitive-just very relaxed. The sister I'm closest to has Venus in Pisces. When something is going on with me, she's the person I first reach out for. She understands and knows. I would cut of my right arm for her, I love her so much. My bf has Venus in Cancer, which is awesome. I can get parnoid sometimes, but he is very nurtutring and cuddly so I relax more often than not.IP: Logged |

I prefer sextiles between the same planet, trines between disparate bodies (where having an element in common may counterbalance energies at odds). A Venus-Venus trine is certainly very pleasant, but for me it tends almost to be too easy an aspect. The interplay of elements in the sextile fosters a stronger, livelier dynamic in my experience.IP: Logged |
