Yes my ex has Jupiter in Sag in the 7th and he has struggled with being very heavy all his life. He eats everything on his plate, because he doesn't want to waste it! He's also Italian, so he's always having Italian foods which are high in fat.

I am always pushing more B vitamins, have more of these, you are calm, you don't need more food to keep relaxed. I have Jupiter in detriment in Virgo so I can't gain weight easily, but I do like to drink a bit too much on holidays, and overdo everything else.

Secret Garden -
Great insight!! Glad you brought it up and can't wait to see the feedback. Also, consider the Asc - Such as a Taurus Asc can make sweets irresistable sometimes.

My Jupiter is in Cappy in the 9th House. I'm a little bit "thick", but just right ... well proportioned - blessed.

This is interesting. I recall that Jupiter in the 6th can bring obesity. I have this placement, my 6th house being in Aries but, Jupiter at 13*Taurus. Astro junkie, I find what you touched on about Taurus, very interesting. I have always been, in terms of a doctors ' healthy ', considered under wieght. The exception to this, was with my 2 pregnancies. I gained 60lbs with my first and, 65lbs with my second; she being over a pound lighter than her bro! Upon my slow process of losing the extras, I was unimpressed with my stature at the ' ideal ' wieght mark. Anyway, to stay on subject, I am, again, considered under wieght and, I am hypoglycemic as well. Maybe the Taurus?....

Interesting topic. As a chubby chick, I have always attributed it to Pluto (which always thinks BIG) being conjunct my Asc.

My Jupiter is exactly conjunct my Moon in Cappy, in the 5th.

Interesting about the B's, Natasha. I'll keep that in mind...after the holidays. btw, Natasha, I have been thinking of you, because my Gem has also decided to end things between us. Oh, he wants to be friends, but I believe that's a bone to assuage his guilt.

Happy holidays, lovely ladies.

Huh. My Jupiter's in Taurus in the 12th house, my ascedant in Gemini. I don't really know what you what call me. I'm not thin, but dunno if you would even call me chubby. Maybe that's the twelth house working there, and the elusive Gemininess. I'm 145 lbs, about 5'5, 5'6. Humm, that does sound like a lot, but it's pretty much equally distributed.

everlong, ur weight falls completely in the normal range according to your height. you can also calculate your bmi (body mass index) which is another indicator of your position on the weight spectrum: http://nhlbisupport.com/bmi/bmicalc.htm

Sorry to hear that Trillian. Interesting about your Pluto. Right now my Pluto is conjunct my Ascendant, and yes my guilt ridden Gemini also wanted to be friends. Probably because he knew he had to deal with my temper, he was very afraid and insecure that way. And his ex had moon in Capricorn. Maybe it's the same Gemini?

(This is an opinion on Gemini Males)
I don't think Geminis ever really end things, they kind of figure out you are not going to emotionally support them at this time, so they give up. That's my opinion. They are also very much in tune with how desirable you are, and if he thought another man would be interested in you, even a tiny bit, he would cut himself off emotionally to keep from being the one let go. Geminis are very wounded when they are dumped and hold grudges.

You are lucky he ended it, or else he would be angry, and it's hard to get a Gemini to decide on anything so at least you didn't have to drag it out. Angry Geminis are really nasty, worse than the hypocritical ones.

Anyway, good luck to you.
Does your Jupiter conjunct Moon make you a Connoisseur of fine wine?

i was thinking that maybe if there were adverse affects so far as transits go (with jupiter) or bad aspects with saturn (symbolizing limitations) there could be weight problems? could this explain conditions such as anorexia and bulimia?
just a hypothesis
i would like all of ur all's expertise and opinion about it. im so impressed with everyones astro know how on this forum. it reallie does show the true linda spirit.

pluto conj asc wouldn't make you overweight.. pluto is drastic, but not necessarily big. if you'd like to talk more about pluto conj asc, i'd be happy to tell you what i lnow, as i too have that aspect.

jupiter in the first house would make you chubby, and if jupiter is transiting your first house you'll have a period where you'll be more suceptable to weight gain (or pregnancy)

taurus rising will make you heavy, but i'm under the impression it's more of a stocky look than fat..

saturn in the first would make you appear frail and bony.. as would cap rising.

the 6th house influences.. your diet.. well, if you have over-indulgent tendencies there.. you may be overweight.. jupiter in taurus in 6th.. loving good food.. maybe a bit too much for the metabolism to handle

I have Jupiter in the 6th in Pisces. I actually believe it's impossible for me to gain weight. I was skinny before I went on a candida diet, and now I am not eating any sugar I am skinnier still. I can eat loads of fatty foods like crisps and popcorn and still not put on any weight.
I do tend to "overdo" things in terms of diet. I'll never not eat, I like my food, but if there is a bar of chocolate in front of me...well, I couldn't just eat one square, rather the whole packet. Or if there is a bottle of Baileys in front of me, I would be tempted to drink the whole bottle. Once I start, I can't stop. So it is much better for me to say, I can't touch this or that food.
I have a Virgo ascendant, which perhaps helps me get things in perspective a bit. I do have a "cut-out" point - when I'm full, I stop eating. Simple as that. I also have fortunate genes inherited from my father. My mother, and her sister, both have problems with eating disorders, my mother with anorexia and my aunt with overeating.

I have Jupiter conj. Mars and Jupiter conj. Chiron in Aries in the 6th. I read (Bob Marks) that Chiron in Aries/6th can mean an eating disorder, I have been bulimic for 15 years now. Since being in recovery I have gained an awful lot of weight, because I still have the binges, but without the purging.

Jupiter is a hard placement for weight when it's in the sixth, or when it's conj. the ASC. I have an aquaitance who is very overweight who has Jup conj. AC.
