I read on a thread not to long ago about something happening to put Taureans through a hard time, wanting time to themselves to figure things out in their lives, and breaking away from their ideals. Or something like that. I can't remember exactly what it said. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, is this time close to over (or is it already)?

That would be Neptune in Aquarius, it is causing some problems with romantic relationships, expectations, that kind of thing. Aqua is summer of love, Taurus is not, so there is a conflict.

There are lots of transits affecting Taurus right now. For example mid thirties Taurus is experiencing a Pluto transit, where we want to change our entire lives, and our tempers are harder to control than normal.

It depends on the age of the Taurus,

Natasha

I'm a taurus that is definitely having a tough time with love relationships.
I broke up with my virgo boyfriend about three weeks ago, shortly after mercury went retrograde (we were both really affected by it). Maybe neptune in aquarius was also a factor there. Today, I am feeling sad about it because the sun entered my seventh house this morning (through january 12th).

I have also been waiting for some paperwork to be completed and what would normally only take two weeks to complete, has taken over a month to be nowhere near complete.

I can't give the bad without saying something good too... ...all shopping is done, I received a nice gift today, I found the perfect christmas dessert, and tonight will feature a few beers and a bubble bath.

hereisgone, that was when I got married, so maybe you are looking to settle down? Are you feeling more serious than usual lately? If so then maybe you are looking for a way to express yourself that is different, or you need a trip. Travelling is very good for Taurus since we need to see different scenery to be inspired again.

Hi hereisgone,

I'm a taurus and have been going through some hard times lately. In all aspects of my life. Things are changing. The inner currents are starting to shift and I know big changes are on the way. Changes that my fixed sign self has put off for too long. Thats always the way. Then I break free from EVERYTHING and make huge changes. It's already started happening. More "inner-wise" though. The outer changes are going to follow when the time is right.

Neptune is currently squaring my MC and Uranus (conjunct) and opposite Mars (7th house). It's been a trying time, job wise, relationship wise, and everywhere else. I have a Bull boyfriend and let's just say things havent been fun lately.

Even though I've been going through a hard time lately, I dont think it's all a bad thing. Ultimately it will better me, inside and out.

I take it youre a Bull as well?

Love? Ugh. I don't even want to talk about it. Just recently put myself in a "single-forever" category, resigned to living in an old house with the neighborhood cats for the rest of my life.

I am mid thirties, so maybe it's that Pluto thing. Not really adept at reading transits, so I don't know if anything else is involved.

However, I DO know that it bites. Hard.

Throw away the coupons ...

Invite all of us over instead. I'm sure some of us can reproduce "meow" sounds for you, if it will make you feel better ... hee hee ...

We can help you understand what transit is going on, perhaps like you said, with Pluto.

Go to astro.com
Click FREE CHARTS on left
Click EXTENDED CHART
Enter your info and in the dropdown menu select NATAL AND TRANSITS

The Planets on the outside of the Wheel will be what's transiting. Look for Pluto, and let us know what Sign and what House it's passing over.

It's really simple. If you have trouble, let us know.

Thanks everyone! I was actually asking about a Taurean acquaintance.

Kat Smeow - I always say I'm gonna end up being the old bag lady at the end of the street with 500 cats. LOL!

if you ladies really decide to stay single to the rest of your life, then you have doomed your eventual "soul mate" to stay single too, because you have stopped looking for them. There are soooo many singles nowadays desperate to love and to be loved yet they seem simply unable to find each other out. Maybe because half of them have decided to boycot the situation and stop looking any more....good for the cats!

Single and looking is an art, I don't think anyone is resigned to being single forever.

But it's not easy to love and be loved and never see a future with someone either. I suppose it's easier to be alone than risk hurting someone by falling out of love, or telling them you are moving. Or vice versa. Part of loving is being sensitive to those little shifts, and those shifts are scary...

so single but looking but not matching up my future with anyone soon unless we live together well, and he sleeps on the couch at first.

With Taurus it's always a future thing, we get too caught up in pleasing too

I've had my heart broken so many times, sometimes I wonder if I'm strong enough to keep looking. Weak, I know. Problem is I get attached way too easily, sometimes even before I know his last name, LOL.

I know what you mean, sometimes attached means wanting to please though. You can't please everyone, even if they do look vulnerable and sweet! Or if they say things like "we'd be so good together!". It's easy to overlook the bad, or want to be just friends as if that cancels out any heartache.

Heartache comes, and if we get attached, we don't get babied. There is no easy lover out there, they all have problems, get confused, and fall out of love every other day.

It's the little crap that drives me nuts, but it's the little stuff that makes a relationship too. Ever noticed how small digs hurt more when you love someone? It's normal, it's hard to accept that.

hereisgone -

When I was about 16 years old, I wrote this poem about having had my first HUGE heartbreak, and how I didn't think I could go on. I'm 43 and still get hit with the same feeling. The only way I've learned to cope with this is to spend quiet time with myself and contemplate what there is to truly learn about the experience. It doesn't take away the hurt, but it helps to unblock and move on.

my pluto transit is in sagittarius in the 10th houses right now. the past year and a half has been very hard for me. though the past few months seem to be looking up again.
i went through alot of self reflection. i was very mentally confused not thinking clearly, feeling very numb unable to express my feelings and doing everything possible wrong. embarassed because of a stunt my husband pulled while drunk out of his mind 2 years ago that i had nothing to do with but being married to him, was a snowball affect and affecting alot of my feelings of self worth and depression he hasn't drank since then but its still hard. a huge change in my life ways
