Only one bad one
Cancer and Taurus have an uncanny similarity of values. They crave financial security. They love sensuality, emotional connections, physical chemistry, everything beautiful and artsy. They are dedicated homemakers and will likely raise strong children. They have an affinity for a secure home and good family, for good food, they are clear on roles for them to play.
I have seen several very successful couples with this combo. It has been more successful with the Man being Taurus and the woman being Cancer.
The one not-so-compatible couple was, because I think the Taurus man was too mature for the Cancer girl (I wont call her a woman). She was looking for a father figure more than a partner. She was also quite manipulative. Probably had some other influences in her chart.
Both Taureans and Cancerians tend to be thoroughly sincere and devoted lovers. I think its a GREAT combo. It has all the compatibility of the usual earth-water but added bonus in it of the unusual similarity of thinking between the two signs.

Im glad you asked.
I am a cancerian man.
I was with a taurean girl once, and well, I found her a maybe a little boring.
Maybe she did not fufil all my emotional needs.
I suppose it could have worked eventually, once she realised this and adjusted accordingly.
I might have taken quite a while though.
Other than that she was very nice.

I'm a Cancer and I used to date a Taurus man. Hummm- I found him a little dull and too quiet. This pairing can work though- the only problem is that Cancer men are VERY difficult to figure out, that it could drive you up the wall if you don't have much patience. And Taurus women can be overly possesive making "high" demands and emotional commitment from their partners. But financially and emoionally, Taurus and Cancer want the same things: good sex, money, good food, family, and most of all, security. And oh ya, Taurus women can be obstinate while the Cancer man lives to rule(Cardinal sign). Good luck!
