What signs or aspects make one pessimistic? Capricorn comes to mind but that's about it. Any other ideas?

I would think a Moon-Saturn aspect would cause pessimism, especially a hard aspect. And even more so if any of them are in Capricorn. And if they aspect the Sun or Mercury. And also if they are in the 3rd House or aspect the 3rd House cusp or planets in the 3rd House, as this house rules the way our mind thinks and works.

I have Cappie in the 11. I come across very cynical and pessimistic. And with my rising in Pisces, let's just say I don't smile too often. But then I can be just bummed out

I'm your girl. I've got Moon in Cancer in 3rd, Opposing Saturn & Jupiter in Capricorn in 9th - even the Houses are Opposing.

Probably having a full 10th House, or Saturn or Cappy in the 1st would do it too.

I would say capricorns. If my boyfriend looses a bid on ebay he starts screaming and cursing. He even scares the hell out of his cat and she hides. He lures her back with hugs and kisses though lol. He constantly puts himself down if he has no job he feels like he is worthless. My sis is a cap and is the same way. She always has a stressed look on her face.

I have this "pessimistic" lineup:

Moon Capricorn @ 27deg 6th house
Saturn Libra @ 21deg 3rd house

Theyre squared

But I also have a Leo asc, sooo I'm guessing it's just a matter of weighing the influences (?)

Also, I believe for real pessimism (sp?) there'd have to be some scorp or pluto influence thrown in. might be wrong.

Haha, I see you already tried the spacing......It will only let you do seven more icons....I guess the symbol at the top is included in the "eight" total. And also, you can "edit" several times.

Capricorn is probably the most "outwardly" pessimistic due to their cardinal nature, which compels them to project their thoughts/feelings out in to the world, at least after a certain period of bottling them. Capricorns want to perfect their world, and when things aren't up to their expectations they can become extremely frustrated and take out their negativity on whomever is the closest ear. (this can gofor cap moons/risings as well)

Any cardinal sign can seem the most pessimistic in the right mood, given their outwardly projecting nature, especially cancer and capricorn. However,a lot of scorpios and virgos tend to have trouble seeing the positive side of things. Scorpios tend to often have a feeling of doom, wheareas virgos can only see faults/errors.
