Leyla ~ Yes it probably would be much more useful to use the 10th House. But as I unfortunately don't have the exact birthtimes of any of the models (well aside from Claudia Schiffer) I just have to make do with what I have, and go from there. I was especially focusing on Venus as it's the planet that represents beauty. I would love to know where Venus lies in all their charts, and if Venus aspects their 10th Houses and Ascendants.

Taking a glance at Claudia's chart, her Midheaven is in Leo and the planet that rules her Midheaven, the Sun, is in the 10th House. It's obvious that whatever career Claudia had chosen for herself, it was going to be a public one. And with the Midheaven in dramatic leo, she wasn't going to settle for a quiet job such as being a typist tucked away in an office corner. If she hadn't chosen modeling, she probably would have became an actress.

i read somewhere about SN/NN-venus contacts producing beauty/charisma. i guess this makes sense as the SN represents where we come from, what feels most comfortable for us.

i found where i read this, it was in a post on another astrology board. here's a portion of the post:

"Recently, I read a couple of articles that say that Mars/Neptune aspects often produce greatly charismatic individuals.

I have been studying the charts of the famous and many of them have Venus/Node aspects. For example, Britney Spears has Venus conjunct SN, and so does Cameron Diaz. it's kind of interesting, thought i'd share this with you guys.

(i actually have NN conjunct venus in the 5th house. of course, im not a supermodel. or famous. or very charismatic, for that matter - especially in the morning.)

...And speaking Of Gia Carangi, it's interesting to see that she and Cindy Crawford share the same Venus sign. Because early in Cindy's career she was referred to as 'Baby Gia' because of Cindy's strong resemblance and similar sexiness to Gia.

She was very tragic. She was a top supermodel in the late 70's and early 80's, and was one of the few openly gay celebrities who made no apologies for her sexuality. But she sadly became a heroin addict, which ultimately destroyed her career. And then she died of AIDS in 1986 at age 26. Angelina Jolie even portrayed Gia in a movie a few years back. I wish I knew Gia's exact birthtime. I'm sure her chart would be very interesting to study.

I think this mostly depends on Venus aspects to angles and other planets. I know a few women with Venus conjunct AC, and they are gorgeous, without being supermodels.

I also read that Venus-Uranus aspects give a "striking" appearance.Angelina Jolie has the opposition.

I also know this girl with Venus conjunct Mercury in Gemini, conjunct Cancer AC, both opposite Uranus and Saturn, and she has these striking bright green eyes.

Moon/Pluto hard aspects
Moon is in the 10th or on MC, and if not it has a strong Pluto association such as being in the 8th.
Ya gotta be a tough b!tch to survive in the modelling world.
No tob for Kate Moss but I know she has Scorpio Moon.

3 of the above have Fire singletons, 1 has Earth singleton, 1 a Water singleton.
2 have Neptune as their singleton.

A lot of Saturn hard aspects to either Sun or Moon.

Wow,there's something about that aquarius venus.I have read that aquarius is meant to be one of the more attractive signs.I am surprised that not as many have venus in libra because that is meant to be the most attractive sign of all.Maybe some of them have it rising?

Aquas r more fit for models,than Libras. Their type of beauty,distant,etheral,attractive in odd way,all that has potential with modelling. Libras with their smart,sweet,and roundish ways r also alluring,but on the runway can be boring.
As for Asc,I give preference for Libra,and yes,I'm one also

OK Yes I do do do see where you are going with this; it's a good argument. Now that I'm looking again at the mid pic after reading your analysis I'm thinking 'gwynnie paltrow' who is pisces asc, omg haha.

And omg to what you noticed about leo asc gals, "they end up toned,'under control'." this is completely my frame no matter if im under or overweight or toeing the line, I always look quite strong and I do think I have a masculine look/attitude.

Here u go,but I don't think it's of much use...
I had in mind another Pisces for comparison,Olivia Wilde. Now,I solemnly declare,if Olivia is anything but Cappy Asc,I'll stop dealing with rising signs for good She is Gem/Can Moon. I noticed similar angularity between Olivia anf Kate... Also,Olivia often is seen as sb who has flawless skin,but it is very Cappy skin actually,the one that scars easily,uneven. It's two extremes with Cappy skin,really spotless(and bit dry) or really problematic. And forehead!! Longer torzo...
