I was noticing that I seem to have gone through phases in my life where I meet a hefty amount of the same sign. Like a few years, the grand majority of friends I met and romantic interests were all Cancers. My North Node is Cancer. Now most of the friends/romantic interests I meet are Aries. I notice that in my progressed transit chart, my North Node is in Aries. I just spoke to someone online who meets a lot of Scorpios and their North Node is Scorpio. Do you think that perhaps these people come into our lives or we're attracted to them to help us progress karmically? ------------------

hey. i think a lot about the nodes too and have noticed a pattern for me. my north node is conjunct my saturn in virgo, and i am particularily drawn to pisces, i find. which would make sense, i think, since pisces is so absorbing, so it's the lesson for me of maintaining order while being drawn to otherly type of people.. also, i find virgos ground me, and there always seems to be a lesson. my north node is in the 8th, and scorpios really fascinate me and help me shake my damn stubbornness, and make me feel more open to life and new experiences. of course, there are things about every sign that draw me, for different reasons, but the ones related to my nodes seem to occur more often and more significantly in my life, yes..!IP: Logged |

My North Node is in Leo in my 4th House - so far don't see any real patterns based on that alone, although I can relate to my South Node in Aqua.IP: Logged |

Hmm..my North Node is in Cancer, and the only way I see that this works is that they used to attract to me like crazy (but I was barely ever attracted to a Cancer). Which in my case I didn't like as they tend to drive me up the wall. IP: Logged |

OK I used astro.com to draw up my chart - there are no north or south nodes but my true node and mean node are both in Libra - how do I make out my north node?IP: Logged |

How do u find your north node? On astro.com i can see my 'true node' but not sure how to find my north node!

LMFAO - Who me???!!!Seriously though, dont laugh, but I think its something to do with your ascendant. If that is true, then my north node owuld be in Scorpio, which would explain why every singel guy who ever asked me out turns out to be a Sun or a Moon Scorpio ... and why Sun here is stalking me (lol). Hey Sun, you might wanna check out http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/004090-3.html. Sparkles has given a grand explanation of what nodes are. Basically, your true node is your north node and it is exact opposite of your south node, so if like your North node is in Taurus(lol), your south would be in ... you guessed it, Scorpio.IP: Logged |

Practically everyone in my who is/was important to me has at least one planet conjunct to one of my Nodes (or vise versa). The Nodes are supposed to represent Karma, with the North Node being where you're heading in this life, and the South Node where you've already been (past lives). And it's also significant if someone's North or South Node conjuncts one of the chart Angles (1st, 4th, 7th & 10th House) of the other person. IP: Logged |

Sparkles, my love, just saw you here and had to say a hi with a big, beary bull hug!You know, I might have been having one of my Uranus (lol) moments when I posted this thread cause I havent the vaguest recollection of doing this or where this thread is right now! But I hope you dont hate me for sending you on a wild goose chase (those are fun, though - arent they!). As for Sun, I bow and solemnly apologise for leading you on abt that post. The True Node and the Mean Node are just different names for the North Node, but it's basically the same thing. ...And as if Astrology isn't confusing  enough already, giving something three different names makes things even worse.  lol IP: Logged |
