Me and my best friend both have Aquarius in Mercury ( she's an Aquarian ) and it's so weird, I swear she can read my mind. She just takes one look at me and knows what I'm thinking. It's fun most of the time but it can get irritating. Being a Pisces I do not like it if someone knows too much about me, even a best friend. I have to always keep something for myself. Don't get me wrong I do love her loads On the other hand I know this other girl ( a Libra ) who has Mercury in Scorpio, we can never see eye to eye. She loves to argue, I hate to argue - so we argue I always let her win though ( my Pisces submission ) although it kills me ( my Aries ascendant and also in Mars lol ) Again don't get me wrong, I LOVE Libras, my mum is one I just wanted to know if anyone esle understands what I'm saying. Hi neptune's mermaid! I totally understand what you're saying. I have a friend whose Mercury trines mine EXACTLY (mine is in Virgo & hers is in Taurus) and we can almost read each other's mind. Sometimes TOO much. lol IP: Logged |

I know what you mean as well. My best friend's mercury trines my uranus in 3rd (which I think has a lot to do with my mind). I like the way she understands and knows me though, maybe because I trust her with the knowledge. Edit: I guess the conjunction is more powerful too...and plus it's merc/merc not merc/uranusIP: Logged |

Merc Conjunct Merc is a cool aspect!! Looking at me and my best friends, close familys charts, we usually have nicely aspected Mercury. Heres some info I found about that particular aspect~ This indicates a very similar mental viewpoint and an ease in communication between the two of you. You are able to overcome problems and disagreements through good communication and clear, rational thinking. There is a spontaneous comprehension of each other. And some more unusual info, about Mercury itself- Rulerships by sign Gemini (by day)/Virgo (by night) Signs of detriment Sagittarius & Pisces Exaltation (sign & degree) Virgo - 15° Fall (sign & degree) Pisces - 15° Triplicity rulership Air triplicity by night Associated terms Aries degrees 15 - 21 Taurus degrees 9 - 15 Gemini degrees 1 - 7 Cancer degrees 14 - 20 Leo degrees 7 - 13 Virgo degrees 1 - 7 Libra degrees 20 - 24 Scorpio degrees 22 - 27 Sagittarius degrees 15 - 20 Capricorn degrees 7 - 12 Aquarius degrees 7 - 12 Pisces degrees 11 - 20 IP: Logged |

Wow, thanks for the info Sun_Scorpion I'm so glad you guys understand what I'm saying. Communication is so important for any relationship but I don't think too many people really think about it. IP: Logged |

My husband and I~ He has Sun in Aries, as well as Mercury. I have Pluto(Pluto insisted it goes first, and well, I don't want to mess with that energy.... .) and Mercury in Libra. His mercury doesn't oppose mine by degree, but the signs are opposed. But his Sun opposes my Mercury by degree. I think this makes a difference, and it comes out sometimes... other aspects between our charts dilute this though.. but not always ....GRRRRR...This is what a website says~~~ Sun opposed Mercury This comparative combination promises a good deal of communication between the two of you, but there is likely to be widely varying viewpoints and opinions. You are probably able to arrive at a balanced judgment. Mercury opposed Mercury This opposition indicates relationship problems arising from differences in intellectual viewpoints and difficulties in communication. You are apt to disagree in matters of dress, personal hygiene, diet, or work habits. There is a great deal of difference in mental outlook. IP: Logged |
