I sometimes feel that signs like Taurus, Capricorn, Cancer & Virgo, even with interesting chart placements, can become so boring and predictable sometimes. I think its unhealthy how we try to play it safe to a point where forget how much fun it is to take chances and get excited abt something!

hey maya-voracious!

how are you doing? as a taurus moon, cap rising, and saturn/nnode virgo,i empathize. i let my hair down here (cuz i'm stuck in the 50s and all..), cuz it's so great to have weirdos around that understand the intricacies of astrology and like to think about how people work, which is so refreshing!! but otherwise, i feel very stuffy a LOT of the time, in the real world.. conservative and emotionally simple. but these have their benefits too! without stability, there would be chaos everywhere! so don't feel badly .

but yeah.. i guess that's why there are difficult aspects between dissimilar signs; because to learn from one another takes a struggle, but without struggle, there is no progress, no evolution. so it's all worth it.

hope you're having a wonderful and exciting day!!

maya, i think boring or predictable points to a preponderance of fixed sign placements in ones chart. although.. i suppose earth-signs' practical nature could be considered boring.

i find leos and libras boring and predictable actually. maybe because i'm married to one, i always anticipate the response, so i stop asking questions. maybe this is because i'm sandwiched between both of these signs, so i know them well psychically or karmically as linda notes.

one thing i do notice about virgos, leos and libras that irritate me (im a virgo w/ a stellium in libra) is that it takes us longer to get to a point w/ jumping around subjects, adding unnecessary details and redundant background info. too much mercury or air can become exhausting as well as predictable=boring.

am i boring you? haha.

lol lovely*, I too am a virgo with a libra stellium! And well, I totally agree with you...because I used this power to my benefit in school mwhahahaha...I knew that so many details and background info would bore the teachers into giving me good grades with my research papers. It never failed mwhahaha!!

I have a Virgo Moon, I'm not predictable

It's OK, I have 3 Aries and 3 Sag in my chart

Honestly speaking, my Virgo Moon saved my fiery aspects from getting me killed no thanks to my big mouth

I think there are times to be serious and when not to be. Yes I agree it's boring to be serious all the time, but it's just plain weird to not take anything in life seriously-like a few people I know.

I think everyone should have a bit of and

Keep those replies coming, darlings - they are the only thing that keeps me afloat!

What it is, is that the spunky, cupcake, gumdrop, ferriswheel, muffincake, fast car, blindingly in love with their reflections, signs are too busy looking at themselves that they dont notice us cool, quite ones. They skim surfaces of things.

So, !!

26 - - We do have a great sense of humor and we make wonderful homes - all those restless fiery air and fire types do need a place to come back to eventually dont they - not that I am saying we are just boring homemakers - oh, you know what I mean.

26taurus I'm not any of those things, I'm a water sign. I'M QUIET TOO!!! ( sometimes ) I don't want to be fiery.

Remember, water and earth blend nicely together and make

My whole family is nothing but Fire and Air signs, yes they can be annoying but aren't we all

LOL No, mermaid. I dont think what you said was weird. Sorry I disappeared, I got got up with something after I posted that. You are right. I find I blend very well with water signs. They give us earth signs nourishment. And we support them. I love fire and air signs as well though. We all have our quirks. I get sick of the bad "boring rap" that us earth signs get though. We are far from that. Remember, the earth is DEEP. Are you a Pisces? Or a Cancer?

maya, Yes, we have great great "senses", especially of humor. Yeah, I know what you meant.

Pisces

Couldn't be more proud

How come you didn't think I was a Scorpio?
Am I that sappy ( no offence to Cancers )

maya-v, I can't believe you're an earth sign. Cheer up honey

Earth signs aren't boring, you're ice

Anyone who doesn't like that can go to where Pluto rules

I figured you were a Fish because of your screen name. But thought maybe you could be a Cancer because that sign was one of the ones mentioned in the first post. I figured you were a Pisces though. I like you fishies.

After thinking about this more, I realize "boring" is really subjective. I tried to think about what signs have bored me in the past...and not 1 earth sign person came to mind. I think my idea of boredom might just be different! For example, despite all their flair, and ability to engage in instigating goals, I tend to be bored by fire signs, the ones I've met have been uninterested in engaging in debate/conversation and what would be seen as "boring" interests by some people. Sometimes I get bored by the fickleness of my Mercurian counterpart, Gemini.

I think it's all in perception ;-)

Ah, you don't think we're too whimsical

Do you know what, I don't think I've ever known a Taurus. Strange.

Indeed VTT.

Mermaid,

Well now you do! ....sort of.

No, every Pisces I've met I've loved. One of my best buddies is a fish and we used to be like glue. (I moved away) He was always there for me. A bit of a daydreamer, w/o much motivation but I love him just the same. He's an old, wise and sensitive soul.

What deliciously delightful input. Yes, I am very much a Bull, with a Virgo rising and a Pisces Moon (cant get more whimsical than that!)
I do have some airy stuff on my chart that helps me think fast and write well, but basically, Im just a warm, moist, fragrant lump of earth!

26T ur soooo funnie!
"I'm a Taurus/Virgo/Capricorn, but I'll stop boring everyone now."
"What it is, is that the spunky, cupcake, gumdrop, ferriswheel, muffincake, fast car, blindingly in love with their reflections, signs are too busy looking at themselves that they dont notice us cool, quite ones. They skim surfaces of things. "
lol * 1000

Conversationally, I dont find earth signs boring but rather just hard to be on the same level as them, there's not that verbal connection..hmm. But I do think they're hot and *severely emphasizes* OOZE sex appeal...oh yes!

Water signs just plain irritate me, despite my Scorp. influences. Fire signs are great. Air signs are predictable. Especially when Aquarians and Librans try to muddle you up or surprise you, and (being the eccentric Gemini that I am), I ruin the surprise for them, or muddle them up instead. The only fun I can have with Aquas and Libras is when I get to make them admit they're not at all as innovate and 'all that' as they would like to think.

Based on personal experience of course

every element has its negative and positive sides. as for the earth signs maya-v is right. they can become boring for others but for themselves they are as lively as ever! mental thought constipations is the biggest problems with earth signs.

jeez...in that case we sags have loose motions!

lol. please take no offense!
