i don't know about you guys, but i'm tired of transiting eros being in libra, conjuncting my natal ascendant.

i'm feeling extra lovey dovey these days, especially the past 2 weeks, and i don't feel very comfortable with this right now because this last week at work was a hectic one, and this week will be even worse. plus i've been sick with an upper respiratory infection - i don't want to concentrate on love and romance right now. i'm tired and having coughing fits that make me feel like my insides are going to be on my outside by the time i'm done coughing! this does not a lovely mood promote.

it'll finally be out of libra by feb. 11, thank goodness.

anyone else feeling the effects of eros (and pallas, hygiea, scylla, and apollo) being in libra?

Hi Chrissymgreen,
I have been looking into the asteroids, quite a bit, of late. I love that site link, BTW. I have, yet, to find an interpretation for my natal Eros, even googled for it. Do you have any info on Eros conjunct Chiron, in Aries, at 29degrees, 5th House? Any of this info? I really am curious about all of it. The information that I have about each, seperately, when I put it together, does'nt seem to fit. I'm still, quite, new though, especially, the asteroids. I do find that, I am drawn to them, however....
Well, if you should have insight, it would not go unappreciated... Thanks!

i have eros in aries, too, loosely conjunct my chiron (by 7°). my chiron is in the 6th house, though, and eros in the 7th. they're both conjunct my descendant.

anyways, i found this for you:

Eros in Aries

Eros' forms are many and sometimes terrible, and in full strength he comes to us winged and gleaming and muscled like an athlete, with a fury and will that overpower our own and drive us before him as would a storm.

--Peter Marin

Eros in Aries says, "Play with me, right here and right now!" In this sign, Eros wants action, competition, confrontation and of course, he wants to win! Eros in Aries can make a game of love complete with points to score and visiting teams to defeat! The more impossible the relationship, the more ardent he becomes.

As the first of the FIRE signs, he spends and consumes tremendous amounts of energy in the pursuit and capture of his quarry. All this fiery rabidity makes Eros in Aries a very active and perpetually busy lover. Eros here, whether in the chart of a male or female, can exhibit traditional romantic behavior not unlike a knight of old. He is robust, gallant and ever dashing off to slay dragons or rescue damsels, or helpless men, in distress.

Eros in the Fifth House

and those who devote themselves to music and letters and to the various contests, some by exhibiting their strength and others their artistic skill, win for themselves greater honor.

--Isocrates

The fifth house is the traditional residence of entertainment. It encompasses the playful heart, the creative spirit and romantic pleasures. It is the house of the inner child and the outer speculator, the actual children and the latent rock star in everyone.

The fifth house has to do with self-expression and that includes offspring, art work, novels, and romances because they all activate the heart and engender feelings of uniqueness that makes us feel special. That is, when everything is going smoothly. These areas of life also put us in a place of utmost vulnerability not just to the art critic and the gene pool but to those experiencing the inner child. The fifth house rules speculation because we risk the child-like and creative qualities in the harsh reality of potential judgment and condemnation. There is no guarantee how we will measure up.

this is all from kim falconer's site - have you seen it? i think she's fantastic. you can order a natal eros report from her for like 20 bucks, and she e-mails it to you within 24 to 48 hours. i ordered a composite eros report from her and i found it very informative and in-depth.
http://www.nrg.com.au/~d-falcon/Eros_in_the_Signs_of_the_Zodiac.htm#Hs

if you look on the left, there's a list on links to other parts of her site. if you look down toward the bottom of the links listed, there's one called 'downloads'. kim has a good portion of her book on eros available for free download. i recommend taking a look at it.

i find eros is important for me, because it's posited in my 7th house, conjunct my DC. it's also conjunct my mercury and chiron. i think it's kind of neat to read about the myths and then intuitively interpret from there.

hopes this helps ya.

sincerely,
chrissy

Chrissymgreen!!! WOW!!! Thanks, a bunch. For your time, too! You have been, so very, generous! I have Kim Falconer's site, it's actually in my favorites. I guess, my navigational skills, are in need of a bit of refinement. I do appreciate the link though.
I believe that, Eros is incredibly, important in my life, too. The 5th House placement applies to my life. You mention that you had a composite Eros Report done, the composite chart, is where I find my interest, is drawn. Natally, Eros and Chiron, are conjunct at 29 degrees Aries, in my 5th. The chart that my Husband and I prefer, is the Davison Relationship, at astro.com. In it, Aries is intercepted in the 10th house, and Chiron sits at 24 degrees Aries. Eros, however, is in Aquarius, 8th and, conjunct the Sun. Chiron, in my chart, represents our Son... He is Aries at the 24th degree. His Sun is in his 8th house. So, those are only a few of the things, I am seeing, that lead me to believe that, my natal chart speaks of him, very strongly!

Sorry, I am going to close now, before, the novolist is rousted! Hehehe...
Can't Thank You enough!
