Whether temporarily or permanently, I don't know, but I have been questioning my belief in astrology. I have been asking myself whether it is a "prop" I use to make myself feel "safe" or "hopeful".
If I choose to only half-believe it, then, why should I be here?Personality descriptions are fairly accurate, but I have to ask myself how much they colour my view of a person, and obscure certain facets of their personality that I perhaps should be concentrating more on. Alternatively - is it necessary to analyze people so much? Does it ultimately help? Predictive descriptions don't work at all. I am supposed to have been having a ton of luck acording to Jupiter in Libra...doors opening hither and thither, etc. Well, I'm still waiting for proof of the pudding!! No, seriously, I am going through a rather difficult time at the moment, I have done everything possible to promote myself and my business, I am producing better work than ever, and I just seem to be invisible!! Nobody wants to know!!! It has really hit me hard and, because of that particularly and of certain other aspects of my life, I am feeling very depressed. Everything just seems to have gone pear-shaped, or seems not to be moving either backwards or forwards. It leaves me wondering whether everything I have done was a complete waste of time. It really, really hurts. I feel like the most unpopular person ever.
I am aware I can be negative, and don't "do" "luvvie"-type behaviour, and that that is probably one reason I haven't advanced in my career  . I really don't want to depress everybody in my current state, and I'm not sure it's something I can work through on Lindaland, I have a counselling session next week, so I will try and see if I can get the help I need there. I need to spend some time going within myself and sorting my life out. Anyway, I would like to say thank you to everyone for all your support, and good luck in whatever you choose to do. Awwww, *hugs* (I am a luvvie type, hope you don't mind, everyone needs a hug now and again.)I hope that things pick up and start feeling right for you.

Awww... that is a shame... but I have often asked myself stuff like that...in the end, astrology has always prevailed for me... although I never trust the future reading stuff.. just the personality/chart side of it.Good luck anyway IP: Logged |

I half believe in a lot of things.. some of it resonates, some doesn't. That's life.
For the most part, think how enriching it is to see things from a different perspective. Focus on the good parts, as in anything. See the bad parts though, but try not to emphasize them.....IP: Logged |

Aww  ariestiger! Good luck to you too I understand the wondering if you should stay since you only half-believe, I like astrology for fun but when it's all said and done...I totally forget about it and just do whatever anyway, and don't really fit anyone into a mold when I am around them. I always admired you AT, for your optimism and your openness. I really respect the introspection that must have gone into your decision. I lost my faith too, once, a long time ago. Sorry AriesTiger that you are feeling so bad. This is the way that I see it and I will share this with u. I think that I have shared this b4. I use Astrology to find the essence of a person, I do not use it to predetermine my future. GOD and only GOD can do that I look to way higher hills when things become to the point that I am clueless, he will set you straight in whatever complications or misunderstandings you may be having. I realize that when something is meant to be or happen it will. And just when you decide to give up thats when something great happens hold on don't give up yet. P.U.S.H.... If we could predict happenings in our lives, we would have no life. Life is about challenges, spontanity, and most of all, LIVING!
And if we try to predict life, we cannot live it! "No, seriously, I am going through a rather difficult time at the moment" Have faith in God, NOT astrology, and you will get through your problems, I promise .

Hi all - AriesTiger - I can understand where you are coming from. I don't see "proof" much either. I got into astrology because I was going through a period in my life that I didn't feel I deserved to be going through but felt sure I could overcome and spring forward victoriously - astrology helped me learn a few things about myself / I mean, what the hell, it wasn't like anyone in my environment wanted to know what I like, what I desire, what I thought about so much so why not get me more interested in me. I get discouraged constantly because I dream really big dreams to which my environment doesn't much encourage and even though I may go after those dreams - I get confused as to whether it's love/work and vice versa and how to make it both. that's the only thing that stunts my growth. aS far as your business, maybe the places you visit online could be the spring board you need to promote it or ideas from these online boards could help your business, as well. what sort of business venture are you involved in? p.s. i am in no way too luvie either when it comes to business - sometimes, what you do for a living doesn't rely on whether you are luvie or not, sometimes people make a living off of not being luvie and couldn't survive in their career any other way but that doesn't make you a bad person, me a bad person or anyone else. I don't know how to be luvie without someone taking advantage of me, my ideas, my ability to work very hard and when I'm not luvie, I'm empowered somehow and the path doesn't seem so dark. Personally, I'm sick of catering to what's outside of me rather than what's going on inside of me - aren't you?IP: Logged |

Take Care and do take a break from here if you feel that is what you need to do.I took a break from here for at least a half year and it helped. From time to time I'd peek in to see what's going on and finally I returned --- for the time being. I think your wise to question this, only you can ultimately create your reality - the power is in your hands, not a chart.Do what you feel is best and remember you can always change your mind.
