Can anybody tell me about Pluto(Scorpio) in 2nd House...

The stuff I've heard about it is scary...

It's about possessions, money, status, self-esteem etc...

I'm gonna take my studies as an example...

Sometimes extremely good, sometimes extremely bad...the effect is never in-between, always extreme.

And I'm extremely possessive over possessions and people sometimes...which kinda suxx, but this is also a power-issue I have...

anyway, the main reason for making this topic, was to get advice on how to prevent the extremely negative energies of this aspect...can anybody help?

Second House
Pluto positioned in the second house results in an enhancement of any drive you may have for acquiring material resources. You are resourceful in making money, often perceiving hidden opportunities others may overlook. Mining operations or research projects often produce gain. In certain cases, the legitimacy of methods employed in gaining wealth can be questioned. The financial circumstances can be subject to wide swings of gains or losses.

First of all you need to take in the chart ruler and any aspects to Pluto, before you can draw any conclusions re Pluto in the 2nd. The 2nd house is more about what your value systems are. In your early years - if we are talking just Pluto in the 2nd would make the type of person who thinks they know what they would like to make them happy, fulfilled and secure. But the Pluto lesson is about peeling away the outers - and hopefully, finding what really is important, and moving from there. Yes its likely that Pluto in 2nd will create a drive for possesions that one coverts, and the means for attaining them underhandedly ie using manipulation or 'selling their souls' because it gives them what they want so badly (material security wise), but they undoubtably learn in the long run that this type of living isn't sustainable over a longer period of time. Ultimately they learn the truth that its not a matter of possesions but how you feel about yourself with or without them. (and I say ultimately and hopefully, because Im an optimist, and am sure everyone is here to evole)

But of course! I like it better this way - "evoL(o)VE", though.

BTW, you can edit your posts. There is a little edit icon up in the header of your post. Try it out!

Have a good night. I'm off to bed.

I have Pluto in 1 in Placidus tropical and in 2 in Vedic heliocentric. Identity and money are definitely hot buttons.
