Just wondering if any taurus moons out there can give me any insight into this placement. I have this placement and i have a hard time with it. Except for my love of music, i feel a need to listen to music several times a day, listening to music is like breathing to me.Any one with any other insights on this placement?I know your moon sign is supposed to indicate how you react emotionally but is there any way to identify taurus moon by say their manner or in how they come across?

I'm a Taurus Moon, and my radio never gets turned off except for when I am watching TV. Paring it down to what I know about Taurus interpretively (is that a word?!) I'd think Taurus Moons would act defensively when their sense of stability is threatened (I know I do!). They perceive change as a threat. Also, they're always looking for stability, especially emotionally, and probably in all other forms as well (including financially).

I have a huge paragraph in my notes about Taurus Moons. Basically it says they're steadfast, loyal, even-tempered, predictable, persistent. Common sense with domestic and financial affairs. Somewhat possessive and may be jealous. Pursues things in a purposeful manner. May be stubborn (emotionally). Doesn't get angry often but when the Taurus Moon does, it's rather explosive. Might have a green thumb or good at cooking. Likes nature. Strong-willed, common sense approach to life. May be materialistic.

Thanks virgotaurustaurus, wow that's a mouthful. I guess i do posses a lot of those traits i just have a hard time being objective about it. That was a good description though. Oh bye the way i am a virgo too. But my rising is aquarius, still we probably have a lot in common in our personalities.

My husband has a Taurus Moon.

He can be possessive (though his Aqua Sun will never let him admit it), needs security, hates surprises that are pulled on him, and loves food, music, and veg/cuddle time in front of the TV.

Re: Music: Whatever music's playing deeply affects him emotionally. He has one of the best, most versatile singing voices I've ever heard.

How can you recognize him?
Hm.
I'd say look for the man eating a hunk of beef and a potato.

What House is your Moon in?

Jase's in the 6th and may act to put an emphasis on his Moon's earthiness.

proxieme i can identify with the music affecting you emotionally like your husband.Music has to stir me emotionally or i find i boring. Though my moon is in my third house which makes me want to communicate my feelings about things a lot.The trouble is most people don't feel comfortable talking about that sort of thing.

I'm a fellow Taurus Mooner! I definitely need my family and relationships to be my safe haven. When storms brew on the home front or I feel a threat of losing someone close to me, it really upsets my whole balance and everything in my life seems to be wrong. Combine that with my fixed Leo Sun and you've quite a combo..(at least if it were just Taurus, it would take longer for me to get upset, but nope the Leo Sun takes care of that..my poor poor fiance )

I also LOVE music with a passion!! I always choose music to compliment my mood, which means I listen to almost every kind. I always listen to the words of songs and certain melodies can sooth me when I'm upset or energize me and pull me out of me shell when I need a lift

Oh yea and I LOVE food!! Especially sweets! Does anyone else love sweets, I read that that was a Taurus moon trait.

Suzyque you can talk to me about your feelings about things, I'm the same way! I always want to have deep conversations with my fiance and well he's a very practical Virgo who isn't very in touch with his feelings. Like when we went camping I wanted to just sit on the moutainside and reflect on life and nature, while he just looked at me confused and he's like okay you do that and I'll bring a magazine to read, hahaha

Thanks leosweetheart i will keep that in mind. I guess i am not a typical virgo in that sense since it doesn't bother me to talk about stuff unless it involves a confronation then i have a real hard time. For me to get mad you have to really push me, or threaten me in some way if that happens i'll take on just about anyone. Suggestion for getting your virgo husband to talk is to relate what you want to talk about to something practical or logical that usually works, we virgos love to talk about that kind of stuff.

Moon in Taures here
one thing that can throw off my equilibrium is noise pollution. Yelling, screaming, horns honking any loud offensive noises. Makes me a nervous wreck.

Yelling makes me a nervous wreck too. Too much of anything does for me really.

Hey suzyque Aqua Rising! NEAT! Even though you have a different rising we probably do share a lot of the same personality traits, I have a lot going on with my Uranus which may make me just as eccentric

Music affects me deeply emotionally too. I've actually deejayed, put a 'concert' together, play guitar and sing...that's just how much music means to this taurus moon

I love sweets too! And yay for relaxing

I am Taurus moon and Scorp Sun and am totally obsessed with music. I am learning to play fiddle, sing in the pub and the music system is playing all the time. I am also very sensual - like being touched, pampered, nice food, good smells - is this the effects of taurus moon or is it the five planets in scorp? I think this moon placement can be very possessive as well and stubborn - what does anyone else think?

Oooh yes definitely stubborn *whistles innocently*. The love of touch, nice food, good smells I know are a taurus thing. (Although I do have a Scorpio friend with no Taurus influence who likes all those things too!)

I have to agree with the sensual side of taurus moon, love of touch, smells etc. Smells especially i really notice. The wrong smell will turn me off and the right one on.I used to have a real sweet tooth as well except i had to give up sugar, but i still crave the sweets!I think it also may impart slow movement. I don't do anything really fast i go slow and deliberate but steady.I see everyone else whizzing around me at work and i wonder why don't i move like that? The only other person who moves slow at work is a taurus rising.

And aquarius rising can be fun but it can also be a pain in the neck, the unpredictable side of aquarius doesn't mesh well with my moon sign.I am always scolding myself for being so darn flighty all the time.

Right here. I've had a lot of problems with food during emotional times. I've either withheld from nourishing myself, or I've divulged in food. But it wasn't all intentional sometimes I didnt even realize I was doing it until after the fact. I think Taurus moons are prone to eating disorders at some point in their life.

My Scorp Nephew is a Taurus moon (Singleton).

At a little over two years of age, he is really more Taurus moon that Scorp Sun. We get along famously, really odd- but he gets all giddy when my brother talks about Aunt Dahnee (he can't say Shawnee yet). He is not too much of a hugger with most people, but when I am around he runs to me and gives me huge hugs and loves to sit in my lap and read books.

Music...YES!! That kids LOVES all things musical (which also goes well with my personality). When I took care of him while his mom was having her C-section, we would spend most of the day dancing or watching little TV programs with Boohbahs dancing...or people singing...we'd get up and dance around the living room. That little cutey NEVER slept so well as he did the week I was there.

He also loves to sing and makes up his own songs (not to many words) but he does well. He is already putting sentances together and has this amazing memory.

Yep..I do love Taurus moon people. They just have this earthy quality about them, but can get very cranky when tired, hungry or bored. LOL...almost sounds like my Mr Taurus Sun man..LOL...

Good GOD!!! Everything here is totally me: green thumb, love music, strong sense of smell, art fanatic...

Except that I'm not predictable unless you consider that predictably unpredictable (Sag sun maybe) But also the eating disorder thing, too.

I'm a Taurus Moon AND ascendant, so security/stability is NB to me, and there are definite possessive/jealous tendencies! However the pisces sun turns it all upside down because I also crave change and get bored easily! I can totally identify with the music obsession, my family has always teased me cos i put music on first thing in the morning and even used to listen to it in the shower! as for chocolates... more than an addiction there!
