I've read some topics on this forum, where cancers have been constantly criticised(did i spell that right?) of not being able to "hear the truth about themselves", to be very weak emotionally, extremely sensitive, depressive towards criticism, and to mention something more recent: can't handle scorpio ppl's extreme emotions, etc..:S

Well if that's true, then why the hell can't I relate to any of that?(And yes, I'm a cancerian)

I am extremely sensitive, yes...but, I can handle ALOT of emotional pressure, and I don't fit to any of those descriptions of cancer that say "cancerians break down after too much emotional stress" whatever...

Recently my ******** was going through alot of pain, and was having moodswings, crying, yelling, temper-tantrums etc etc...it was like an emotional roller-coaster, which lasted for about 3 years! But I helped that person, I listened to that person, gave him/her advice, and did everything in my power to help him/her move on, and never once did I fit to that myth about cancerians, of not being able to handle too much emotions as it breaks them down:S...

Seriously, would the usual cancerian be able to handle temper-tantrums, crying, yelling, cursing etc for 3 whole years, without once breaking down like a sissy?

This statement could have several meanings..what exactly do you mean? Do you mean emotionally or what?

If that's what you meant, then my answer is no...I show my real emotions, and I hate that moodswing/hide emotions thing...sometimes there might be issues that I don't tell people about, but I always have the intention of showing them some time or another, and when I do, I don't do it in a rude way, I do it in a way so people will understand.

Im a Gem and see Gems mentioned in EVERY thread.
"Whos your soft spot?" --tons of Gem mention
"Whos your most hated" --tons of Gem mention
--"Whos most likely to cheat on you" -- most Gem mention
and on and on

I dont care because I know that if we Gems find someone we truly understand they can fulfill all our weaknesses and complete us. And get rid of our tendencies to do bad stuff...whatever that may be!

Lol...actually I'm not taking this 100% personally(might be the question/exclamationmarks that make me seem so personally offended lol)

No its not that I'm taking the bashing personally, but I just find it kind of odd that people keep mentioning how cancerians cant handle too much emotional pressure, because as a cancerian myself I have never experienced this:S...I'm not offended, I just don't find any sense in these remarks.

I agree.

I have a love-hate relation with Cancers. I love talking to Cancer women and men but cannot have any close relationship with Cancer men as I find them too needy, immature, etc. Anyhow no offense just my personal experience ok?

I just quote part of what I posted not so long ago.

I love Cancers - their creativity, sensitivity, wonderful wacky sense of humour and work ethics. I got wonderfully along with most Cancer women I've met - colleagues and friends. We understand each other, enjoy each other's company, etc.
