LMAO..don't forget..Merc in retro is appearing on the horizon and you may also be feeling those affects now.

I didn't know that you're a full moon baby..LOL...I seem to be surrounded by fullmoonies.

Sorry about getting stuck in your garage...all my plants froze up (with the exception of my flowers) my garden is a mess...Who ever heard of a hard freeze in Southern Arizona LOL....

Oh well..back to the steer manure.

I haven't forgotten about you BR..just been dealing with some career issues or shall I say "lack" of career opportunities...

Okay..here is my gripe. I have over 15 years of experience working with diagnostic lab equipment and running blood /chemistry work. Almost all of it is within the veterinary realm, but they are the same machines.

I spoke with a totally lamo recruiter yesterday in an interview for a potential high paying med tech job out here. I am more than qualified for it and it would have been perfect, 7 days on and 7 days off - getting paid for 80 hours in the two weeks.

But..the whiny little dweeb says "Well..Hmm...I see all your experience is with animals...not humans". I said well yes sir, but if you look at my resume you will see I have used all the same equipment. The position only requires a high school diploma and 2 years experience. I exceed that in education and hands on experience".

He whines again "Buuuuuut, it is with annnnnimals...I am afraid you won't know how to run a human sample."

I said 'Sir, again, I have used all the same machines, running complex diagnostic lab work on dogs, cats, baboons, rhesus monkeys, rats, mice..etc... you do realize that non-human primates have almost the same normals that we do? I have had to learn the normal rates of several species whereas this job only requires human, that was covered in my upper level physiology classes".

I could tell he was not understanding..he said "Well, thank you for your interest, but I don't think I can pass this along..."

UGH!!!!!! Oh well.... then I went to take my typing test today ( I kicked butt) and the lady in HR at the temp agency and I got to talking. She ALSO has a bio degree with a business background and moved here in September. We talked about the job market and she said "I left a great job (hubby works on Post) and couldnt' find anything here, but this agency was hiring internally so here I am".

WOW....I am so happy to hear it was not only me!!!

So..we will see what happens..

Did I mention my wilted, frostbitten poor squash ...

I think I will replant in April

That recruiter is an absolute moron, he was probably sexist. Thats a really frustrating situation, because you know you're qualified, but he obviously is an ignorant moron.

I'm a full moon baby? I don't think I am, unless you know something I don't..

The job market is terrible right now, but I'm sure that you can find something decent. Sorry about your plants, the weather has been insane this year, it can't seem to decide what season it is..perhaps the dec tsunami?

Oh BR,...Sorry...I read moon in Gemini and for some reason thought you had Moon in Gemini, which also seemed odd since I knew you had Moon in Scorp (like my brother- Sag Sun / Scorp moon).

Ahh...I look at it this way, it wasn't supposed to happen, the job that is. Maybe it was a sweatshop or something worse. I wasn't wanting to really work the graveyard shift, but I would have done it for those 7 days off.

I am just happy to have bumped into someone in my situation with my background. I am looking forward to meeting with the temp agency and seeing what they have.

My plants look pitiful, but it is kind of funny. See, this is the first time I have planted. I come from a long line of people that can grow anything- like my abuela who grew one heck of an avacado tree from a seed. My mom side of the family made their living as farmers...

Soooo...I guess I MIGHT be the literal brown thumb LOL...but my flowers look good, so that is a relief. I love the jasmine and today they had Honeysuckle...now all I need is lilac..I am already thinking about how to cultivate the blossoms to make a perfume or oil for my baths. Mr. Taurus loves honeysuckle, it reminds him of his childhood. So much so, that on our first date he was really taken aback (in a good way) with my perfume. I wear essential oils and had on a lilac / Honeysuckle mix. It was light and summery. He said " Oh...you smell like my childhood..you are making me think of warm summer nights with my grandpa..thank you".

Now Jasmine..that is my true flower and it reminds me of childhood.

Oh look at this..I am blabbing on and on....

I hope things look up for you BR..it is okay to get discouraged, we all do it, yesterday I was in tears because I was afraid that I was losing faith in myself and letting others down around me. But, true to our Saggie nature it doesn't last long (maybe longer if you have a scorp moon..at least it does with my bro).

Like I said..I haven't forgotten about the cards...I am feeling better spiritually and will do a reading for you soon.

Love and Light,

Pidaua

I would still love a reading, but I'd rather have it be a career focus at this point...things with the leo are definitely and completely over. =) Thank god

Reminds me of what MUST be one of THE nastiests Transits, the Saturn/Moon, Moon/Saturn Transit. When it's Saturn doing the Transiting, it's pure hell on earth ... moves so slow ... and there's always more than one thing going on. What's your Saturn like?
