Do you know more about this aspects in sinastry to help me?

his Juno conjunct her Sun and Jupiter and trine her Saturn
his Vertex conjunct her Moon, Juno, Venus

I am more interested about Juno - Vertex and I couldn't find more details. I know Juno can reprezent the marriage and vertex is conected with some fate...
Can be here some clues about these two people that are made to be together?

Thank you!

Yes, I'm also interested in these two because my Vertex conjuncts his IC exactly

and his Juno conjuncts his Neptune exactly which conjuncts my Sun, Jupiter and Neptune in Sag.

My Juno conjuncts with my IC

His vertex conjuncts my Pluto

My fortune point conjuncts with his Chiron

and what is that symbol that looks like the Venus symbol only, if the Venus symbol's circle was like a full moon, this other "mystery symbol" has an inverted crescent instead of a full round circle over a cross?

Somehow all of this is so hard to find, but it seems to be significant. Some sites say that asteroids are as significant as planets, but then the synastry, or even natal aspects aren't listed!!!

What does all this mean?

Sorry to jump all over your post--just very confused and looking for info

Don't worry about jumping on my post I am curious about any aspects of Vertex with personal planets, because I didn't find any until now so I will welcome any coments even for your chart!
By the way how is your relationship with these aspects? If ... I don't ask to much!

It seems to be nothing, just me with a big crush, but to me it seems so significant that I can't turn away no matter how much it hurts to see him do absolutely nothing or have any emotions towards me whatsoever. the thing is, whenever I make a conscious desicion to break it off on my end, or stop communication, he always comes back around and is nicer than ever. So maybe he can't let go too or he like to keep contact. I'm downright obsessive about it, like nothing I've ever experienced, but the Neptune playing abig part makes me think of all the illusions (illusions I seem to be getting caught up in) The vertex think is confusing, though. What does it mean to conjunct with his IC?

Wanted to add that I've felt from the beginning, that the whole thing was fated and maybe that's why I have a hard time letting it go. I'm a very dreamy person (Neptune, Sun, Jupiter in SAG in 12th house) so I'm trying to figure out these asteroids because there are definite conjunctions like with his vertex and my pluto. I don't want to be so confused in the dark, but those are the aspects that define our synastry

So even if we don't have that great, easy loving relationship, it still can be fated and significant for both of us, it just might be a karma thing that we have to work out. Dunno just yet.

Hiya zoso & alma-noble,

Though I can't say much about those aspects there (I have a few that I myself would like to know about! ), I can solve one little mystery. That little crescent moon symbol you see on the chart, zoso, might be the one for Apogee (Black Moon) Lilith. Here's a brief description of it from the following site (I've pasted only a few parts): http://groups.msn.com/HOROSCOPESCHAT/lilithchiron.msnw :
"Apogee Lilith is believed to be a point of instinctive and emotional intelligence, whereby individuals can gain contact with and feel their inner heartfelt truths and soul longings and passions. ... A strongly placed Lilith favours art, creativity, detachment from social norms, emotional sensitivity and vulnerability, an uncompromising will, and unconventional relationships."
(Ooooh, this next part sounds exciting, though dark) "In synastric contacts, apogee Lilith brings a sense of soul connection characterised by a mergeance of personal and impersonal attributes, but with an inclination towards intensity, the uncovering of deep-seated desires, and some danger of obsessiveness and pain."

Alma, from another website, I have that the Vertex symbolizes "Sudden turn of affairs, epiphany, instant attraction, immediate sense that something WILL happen together." Other than that, I'm also eager to see if anyone might know how to make sense of a Vertex aspect. I have my Vertex conjunct someone's Saturn, and vice versa, so i'm pretty curious too.

OH! The Vertex ...

I've been keeping an eye on that one for a while now, and there is DEFINATELY something to it. I've noticed a pattern, anyone else?

To me, so far, I see the Vertex as having a similar influence as the North Node (but not the South Node) - in that, it is like a meeting point between two astrological influences in two different people. For example, Person A has North Node in Sagittarius, Person B has Moon or Saturn in Sagittarius. The Person A is attracted the most, as Person B has more of what they need. If Person A is already mature and accomplished, then Person B will be attracted the most because Person A has more of what they need.

But in Vertex, there is no reaching for goals. It's literally like the points of two stars just touching each other, making contact. It's fate.

zoso,

your pluto conjuncts his vertex, right? you used the word 'obsessive' and that caught my eye. i think anyone with a strongly placed pluto who meets someone who activates that pluto in synastry prolly has the tendency to become 'obsessed' within the context of the relationship...i dont know, though, im just speculating.

gloria, i read something recently comparing the nodal axis to the vertex. it said something about the vertex being similar but it doesnt retain past memories or whatnot. i dug up the link i think it came from:
http://www.karmicastrology.tv/synastry.htm#synastry6

the antivertex is an important point, too. the vertex is supposed to be sort of like an auxiliary descendant and the antivertex the ascendant.

i know someone who i share a mars-antivertex aspect with. my mars conjuncts his AV and vice versa, exact (it's less than a degree, anyway). just like is mentioned in that link i posted above regarding mars-V/AV contacts, i find this person to be incredibly sexy.

Yeah, Crissy--I think you're right about the obsessive being activated. My vertex conjuncts his IC, so I was kinda hoping it would be something similar for him, only I don't think the IC has as much impact as Pluto.

zoso -

I think you are on the right track considering this to be a fated meeting so you two can work things out. To me, the Vertex does not necessarily indicate "soul mate" or "marriage" - but drawing you to that person to maybe learn something together, and perhaps, move on.

chrissymgreen -

Great work! Thank you very much for taking the time to find that link. I agree with it based on my firsthand experiences and observations. Since I've become aware of the Vertex from being on this forum, I've noticed some very strong Aspects, especially CONJUNCTIONS in Synastry.

Perhaps it would be interesting to ask anyone here if they've found a similar pattern, and if they go with their gut when it comes to dating. My theory is if you go with your gut, you'll meet more people who share strong Vertex Aspects with.

Someone I know has their Jupiter Conjunct my Vesta, their Vesta Conjunct my Moon. Their North Node & IC Conjunct my Vertex, their Vertex Conjunct my Descendent & is in my 7th House.

Also, both our Vesta's are the other's Houses where the Natal Moons are. Example: Vesta in 6th House of person with Natal Moon in the 6th.

And this is the most interesting part of this, I think - My North Node in Leo is in their 1st House. Their Natal Saturn in Leo is in their Natal 1st House.

And this is always good - their Moon & Jupiter land in my 1st House - my IC falls in their 1st House. Great for a Cancer Mooner like me!

I've been sticking with one basic set of interpretations for the four main asteroids, Ceres, Juno, Pallas & Vesta. They all come from astrology.com, and they are my favorite interpretations when it comes to understanding these. Very simple and to the point.

You may find it difficult to get more specific info on the asteroids or planetoids, especially with Natal Aspects or in Synastry or Composite. They are smaller bodies, and since it is difficult to find info on them, people tend to think they are not as important. My belief is that the smaller bodies such as these tend to support what the bigger bodies are already telling us with basic astrology. They just offer more details, but can also be overwhelming if you try to take it all in at one time.

But I will dig up any other info I have, please remind me if you need to :::

"Juno -

Juno represents the wife, the life partner, the soul mate. This asteroid affects a woman's decision to share herself with another through a physical, emotional and spiritual union. Juno picks up where Venus leaves off -- after the courtship phase, when the conquest is over and the love and commitment begin.

The definition of marital union changes over time, as Juno's position in the sky changes. Modern partnerships, including long-term relationships without a legal ceremony and same-sex unions, are still seen as marriages under Juno's jurisdiction. In some parts of the world, marriages are still arranged based on astrological charts.

Elizabeth Taylor , Hillary Clinton and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis all play out the spirit of The Wife. Their power and fame have much to do with their status as wives of powerful and famous men. Despite the efforts of feminism, many women still receive social standing from the actions of their husbands, thus becoming known as the Doctor's Wife or the Preacher's Wife or even the President's Wife.

Loyalty, fidelity, intimacy, monogamy, and the way you possess your partner or wish to be possessed fall under Juno's care. Juno also fosters promises between yourself and your partner, especially those made under the eyes of a Higher Power.

Juno's shadow side presides over infidelity, divorce, codependence, financial dependence and spousal abuse. The darkest side of Juno is home to the woman harmed by her partner's hand, like Nicole Brown Simpson or Dorothy Stratten. Relinquishing total control of yourself and the relationship, or losing your identity, take Juno's example too far.

Women with strong Juno influences:
Barbara Bush (wife with husband's power and status)
Hillary Clinton (wife with husband's power and status)
Grace Kelly (gave up career to become wife with power and status)
Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis (wife with two husbands' power and status)
Marla Maples (2nd wife with money and status)
Imelda Marcos (wife with husband's power and status)
Yoko Ono (wife with husband's fame and status)
Nancy Reagan (wife with husband's power and status)"

> > > >

It's too bad they do not define what they mean by "strong Juno influences", but I took a look :::

Barbara Bush - Juno in Sagittarius
Hilary Clinton - Juno in Capricorn
Grace Kelly - Juno in Sagittarius
Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis - Juno in Scorpio
Marla Maples - Juno in Libra
Imelda Marcos - Juno in Scorpio
Yoko Ono - Juno in Scorpio
Nancy Reagan - Juno in Capricorn

My Juno is in Pisces in my 11th House. And it's true, I've never had the inkling to hook up with "powerful" men.

I'll start a new thread to get more feedback on Juno. Should be interesting.

Thanks for the great info!

I do believe these smaller bodies have great influence on us and is too hard to take them all in account, as you say, especially when they wasn't too much studied in details especially in sinastries and composites.

I was so amaized when from other thread, I've just find out - and cheked with my own chart - how nicely these asteroids are conjunct in transit, our natal one - in some special moments of life and also in sinastry with some special someone!

Is too much to be just simple coincidence and for sure they have important meanings!

guys,

(oh my god, i am having such problems posting today!)

i agree, i think these bodies (and points, like the nodal axis and the vertex) are very important. i think one of the important things to do first and foremost is to analyze how they affect our own charts - how do they, how does juno, say, or pallas, or whatever - how does that body or bodies affect our approach to relationships? angular house placements & contacts with personal planets color us a certain way. once we understand what's going on in our own charts it gets that much easier to look at someone else's chart and see how they (the bodies) affect that person.

like for instance, i'll give an example using myself. it involves pallas - i have pallas conjunct the sun by 3°. it's in the 6th house, the conjunction. it's dissociate, though - my sun is in a very late degree of pisces and pallas is in the 1st degree of aries. so anyway, aries is ruled by mars and my mars is in capricorn situated in the 3rd house, and cap's ruler saturn is in taurus in my 8th. i really think this helps explain why i rarely feel attracted to a man unless he stimulates me in some unsecifiable way...i want a mentally strong, brave partner (pallas in aries conjunct the sun) who is my complete equal. i am attracted to people who are very saturnian (mars in cap) & plutonian (saturn in 8th). i am also attracted to those with strong mercury (mars in 3rd) -- virgo (sun/pallas in 6th house), and gemini (because gemini is on the cusp of my 9th house and that's the empty leg of a t-square). my juno happens to be in gemini in the 9th house. so there ya have it.

g, you are so right on with the gut thing. you just echoed something i've been mulling over recently...my vertex is in taurus. anti-vertex in scorpio, natch. it just astounds me how many people i've responded to who activate that axis in me. since i find it so hard to be attracted to people (that pallas thing, maybe...i may meet someone and initially think they are neat but i lose interest quicker than a chronic narcoleptic loses consciousness), i pay attention to my gut when meeting people. it usually tells me when i meet someone who i will want to stick around because they fascinate or interest me. now the trick is finding someone who i do that for, huh?
