I am going to google, as I am a googler... but I thought it would be nice to have real throbbingly live opinions, from my peers and peeps.
I have been revising my resume, and am thinking of dropping it off at several places. I am ready to embrace a new position.
Should I use this Mecury retrograde time to drop off resumes, or just to plan my course of action.. cuz I know seeking employment during a retrograde Mercury is said to bring inconsistencies in the job, etc..
I am concerned cuz If I drop off my resume and come in for an interview, I can't exactly say.. great, can I start next month? ( After retro)
Does anyone have an opinion?
VTT posted an accurate article ( mercury ree ree link..) and this Aries placement does affect my tenth house, interestingly enough.. and all day yesterday, I was revising my resume, and deaming about what I would do....... I have planted the seed, and I am ready to roll. But before I break out the water.. how much 'fertilizer' do you think I'll have to weed through?
Like the word play? Good.
Opinions?
Thanks

yeah but.. yeah but.. yeah but..
I mean, I don't live my life only by Astrology, and I can't help sometimes things being cross current to the ways of the stars, but I can't help thinking the timing is poor on this.... like I know better, and I've no intention of entering into something unstable.. though I like a challenge....
If I do it now, I am challenging this retrograde mercury to foul it up for me, and I do know better.... you know>???? Is it worth it?
and thanks for the cheers!!!!

Oh I get it,
Sorry, it’s in my nature to confuse I do it all the time
Wow…I’m not sure. What does your instinct tell you? You have to look at it on both sides…
I’ve been sitting here arguing with myself!! I don’t know enough astrology to advice you - but I really want to help
I just read your post in VTT’s thread - next month isn’t that far but then again… I’m sorry, I’m hopeless. I think you should listen to someone waaaay more wise than me.

Whatever happens, I hope you succeed and find a much better job I have no doubt that you will.
Sorry about the late reply.

quote:
Mercury retrograde gives rise to personal misunderstandings; flawed, disrupted, or delayed communications, negotiations and trade; glitches and breakdowns with phones, computers, cars, buses, and trains. And all of these problems usually arise because some crucial piece of information, or component, has gone astray, or awry.
It is therefore not wise to make important decisions while Mercury is retrograde, since it is very likely that these decisions will be clouded by misinformation, poor communication and careless thinking. Mercury is all about mental clarity and the power of the mind, so when Mercury is retrograde, these intellectual characteristics tend to be less acute than usual, as the critical faculties are dimmed.

Wow!!!! No wonder you don’t want to apply anywhere. It’ll be over by April 12, so it’s not too long.

pixie ~ (I was tempted to write "pp" but I want to ask you a favor below - LOL!!!)
You could go ahead and drop off your resumes.....you don't have to accept anything, and that will get you primed and back into hunting mode, your senses sharp! Your intuition will tell you at the interview if it's something you want or should pass by. After all, YOU are interviewing THEM too! And I agree with the statement that you don't live your life only by Astrology -- the hammer shapes the hand, but the hand provides the energy source, and the choice of how to use the hammer.
I see that on March 29th the Sun, Mercury and Venus will all be in Aries, and on the 31st Mercury will sextile Mars. You are much more skilled with transits and their ramifications than I, but I get the feeling that might be a better time to "put yourself out there." And the New Moon (new beginnings) and solar eclipse is April 8th. I can sense your impatience to get away from that glass ceiling you're bonking your head on, and chafing to move on to something more challenging. Dual income is great, but would it be so bad if you were off work for a few weeks, job-hunting during the retrograde, just reconnoitering the perfect job for you? Mercury Rx is all about the word "re-" rebuild, redo, reenergize, reevaluate, reestablish, reexamine, refashion, review, RESUME....

PS: If you WANT to do this, and something is driving you forward, and you've thought it over and considered all the angles and you're sure it's not just impatience, then GO for it! The Universe has a way of putting you exactly where you need to be to learn something.......
PPS: Would you be willing to take a look at my Venus and Mars Synastry thread? I'd love your opinion.....

Pixie.....use the next few weeks to plan..research companies...make lists..etc.
Utilizing information about the planets is not letting them run your life...it's just being wise. Don't drop off or mail any resumes while Mercury is retro....not a good thing to do! I believe if you wait until after April 12 you will get the best results...just my humble, yet experienced in the ways of a retrograde Mercury, opinion.

Blessings

Thanks to Neptunes Mermaid, Azalaksh, and Saturn's Child.
Merci.
Yeah, I know it is wise to wait, and I will not tempt the stars. I have already waited a long while now, in unhappiness at my job, so I suppose a few more weeks to prepare and intuit shouldn't be too much more to bear. After all, I do know better, and foreknowledge is the best way to prepare for a life change.
I just get so enthusiastic, and prime myself for new endeavors. I also want to *politely* stick it to my old boss. Just by not being there, she'll go.. 'shite!! What have I done?' So it is sort of a vengance thing, but only by being underapprecited until they don't have me and they realize what they did. *down ego, down!*

By the way, Azalaksh
I took a look at your Venus/Mars thread.. and Pidaua covered it excellently, I don't think I could even say it better than she could... plus, she added her own personal vibrancy to it.
But I will say, Good Luck!!!!

Aries energy is very "go with your gut" - my Empty Space in my T-Square is in Aries in the 12th. So when it's time for action, it's very much like a blind dismount.
