Hmmm, well, may I suggest (humor me for a moment) an Aries with a Sag or Aqua moon? Of course, for this to work out long term, it'd be best if he had a Mars that is compatible with both your Venus and Jupiter by sign, which isn't impossible. Here's why: You're a more firey Gem than myself - I have a water moon, but in Pisces, not Scorpio, which, remember, is traditionally coruler of Mars. Your Venus is in Aries too - like Venus in gem, your long-term partner must be compatible with your fickle Venus placement, but not overwhelm it. Ideally Sag and Aries do that trick. Aqua too, if there's air in the chart - and you have that. Gemini is often good for Aries Venus, but you have both Gem Sun and Gem Mars - too much of a good think. So let's stick to Aries, Sag and Aqua. An Aries Sun would be good for your moon sign - albeit it'll take some work. But I've known Scorpio-Aries pairning that do work in the long run, so there's a precedent, methinks. Just be willing for a bit of drama along the way. PLUS, Aries rules your 7th house. A Sun-Venus conjunction in the 7th...yes, very promising. And this would especially promising if his sign conjuncts your vertex (the closer the better). It is also a cardinal Sun, that nicely offsets your mutable Sun, AND it'll sextile your Jupiter. (That it sort of quincunx syour Saturn will take so work too, but that's better than a square or conjunction. But hey, you have that 7th house magic on yoru side.) Sag moon would oppose your Gem Sun, and while this would take some work, Sag rules your 3rd house of communications, so there's definite hope. The opposition would ensure you have difference of opinion from time to time, but not necessarily incompatible ones. It's also a moon that wouldn't directly confront your testy, sensitive Scorp moon and most likely be very agreeable to you when you yourself aren't being so agreeable (and I say that in all love, seeing most of my closest pals are Scorp moons). That's a very good thing. Also a Sag mooner'll also rock on with your Venus and the contact with your Jupiter and Uranus would ensure things continued to be interesting for your Geminian quirks and fickleness. AN Aqua moon *might* work, although it'd be better that it not tightly square your Scorp moon. But it would get along with your Gem and Aries placments, and especially your Jupiter. AND it'll be in your 5th house - a lot of easy-going fun that wouldn't make the Aqua moon feel trapped or weighed down, so he'll stick around long enough to bond with you (eh, love those Aqua moons, but they do need time and space). Good Mars placements could be Aqua, Aries, Sag, Leo (if you're up for the ego tripping and melodrama), and Libra. Taurus contacts hold a great deal of promise for you, since it rules your 8th house and your NN is in Taurus. While I'm dubious if a Tau Sun would be a good match for (although Tau-Gem pairing are often very successful), it might work better with an Aries with a Tau Venus in your case. Just be mindful that Tau-Sco pairings can be intensely emotional and profound, but not always healthy. Tau Suns and moons could likely be deeply attracted to you, but with all your nervous, easily exhaustiable Gem placements, it could be way to heavy in the long run. So a Tau Venus with Sun in another sign would be a better deal for you. IP: Logged |

thanks GemNymph, those are the first positive words Ive ever heard about Scorp moons! do you find your sun/moon square difficult? I was thinking, since Gemini and Pisces are so opposite it would be so difficult to have that placement, or is it not? I was just wondering yesterday how it would be to have Aries/Virgo combination because Aries is the epitome of self, Virgo is selflessness or service, is there a major struggle? Or Leo/Virgo? But I do know a Leo/Virgo, and he is one of the most selfish people I know although I still love him, he is very loveable. I havent had any experiences with Aries, except one Aries friend who was very immature, we would have several fights, but he would always apologize because he'd be so insensitive in the first place, I still do have a soft corner in my heart for him because I know that he was very honest and straightforward, not the type to initiate conflict on purpose but rather just a byproduct of his aggressive Mars working there Sags I have a love/hate relationship with as you so correctly projected, what is your experience with Sags? I would think it would be doubly difficult for you, opposing your sun and squaring your moon! I love Sags for friendship but intimacy is just ....no wayyyy The guy who I have been unable to move past for 4 years is an Aqua moon, he also has Mars in Gemini and Venus in Virgo, but it can be very difficult, in the beginning we had the same levels of energy and commitment, but then I found myself clinging to him so tightly that he dumped me, I have Venus opposing Pluto, a VERY difficult placement, I would say perhaps the most difficult in my chart, with Sun opposing Uranus a close second, Moon conjunct Saturn opposing Mars also pretty bad! What do you feel is the best combination for you? Who do you feel makes the best partner? Love SG IP: Logged |
