Right now, with the current moon transist is a good time for me to do chart reading...but the downfall of this is that it's transisting over my Mars, which can make me a bit, mmm, harsh. LOL. SO I'll try to mind myself.

In a nutshell, this kid's very bright, imaginative and highly sensitive to things in somewhat abstract or spiritual ways. Like for example, he is very senstivie to beauty, and may have a hard time not reacting strongly and negatively to things he finds ugly. And being six, well, he doesn't have the impulse control to cope with this very well.

He'll be stubborn and (like I was telling monad, a Can-Lib, in another thread) will want everything to be prefect. He may not be able to readily cope with the intense emotional response he gets when things aren't prefect in his eyes. Again, he's only six. But still, this will make raising him rather challenging on a day to day basis for sure.

His Virgo Mars makes him both a bit introverted and hesistant as well as excitable and a bit edgy. He can get "overloadeed" easily, which can cause sudden mood swings or withdrawl. He is highly receptive to any kind of stimuli, and probably don't have much stamina dealing with erratic, stressful environments, espeically if he doesn't understand them. Virgo needs logic, quiet and order. Combined with his other placements, he'll much do better in quiet, structured environments that make sense to him, or at least, he knows what all the rules are and there's few surprises or inconsistancies.

Ideally, he should be encouraged to do creative but quiet/calm activities - reading, drawing, listening to peaceful music, anything with animals. A pet would be good for him, especially one he can have physically contact with but isn't rough, like a small dog or a mellow cat (provding he's not allergic). He should not engage in too many things that would overstimulate him, like TV, loud music, and video games. He should spend a lot of time outdoors in nature to help counterbalance the stress of home and school. If he wants to spend time alone, he should not be rebuked for that - he probably needs more alone time that most kids. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't have many friends his own age while he's young - chances are, on some levels, he's a bit ahead of his age group. As he grows, he might find relationships with adults more rewarding than ones with his peers.

OK, I had a few more things to say, but was interrupted earlier...

I just noticed that his Mars is a singelton - it's the only planet he has in the personal houses. This would make his Mars much more prominent than normal, and because it's in the 4th, this intensity is most forthcomming at home and with his family.

Mars singletons tend to get a bad rap, because they can form unhealthy egos. But they don't always. He has Mars sextiled his Sun, with helps ease the intesnity of this singelton, and there's no harsh aspects to Mars (unless I missed something). It is quincunx his MC, however, which is neither an instant good or bad, but probably moreof an indicator that while he may have some inner conflicts to work out, even frrom a young age, they may ultimately find resolution in his adulthood and career.

Now, with a Virgo Mars and Sag Merc, chances are he's going to be a bit lippy. Fortunately this isn't a tight squaring, but that one's in the 6th and the other int he 4th may mean he can be very emotionally defensive and touchy, and lash out in response. Watch out that he doesn't get bullied *or* be a bully to other kids while he's young, especially verbally.

With a Scorp Sun added to this mix, he will be endowed to inclinations to be stubborn, willful and controlling towards others - this may hinge a lot on his Mars' need for an orderly environment. He will need to learn from an early age he can't push people around and make then do whatever he wants. Of course, because his young Libra moon cannot understand severity, any discipline must be dealt reasonably, gently and consistantly.

When he's older, I suspect this will balance out, and these placements will endow him with a healthy sense of humor, even though at times it may be a little biting.

Whenever Jupiter is in Pisces, there tends to be flocks of very creative and artistically children born. I suspect your son is like this, since water sun + Libra moon almost always results in an artistic temperment. Often times, this talented Jupiter-Pisceans grow up to be very successful with their talents too. This tends to be a very forntunate placement for artists or all sorts, although it may endow them with some negative traits - in particular, sincec your son has a water Sun and a strong Venusian theme in his chart that endows him with deep emotional sensitivity, if he doesn't learn to cope productively and healthily with his negative emotions, there's a potential that he may become self-destructive in his early adulthood, like heavy drinking and drug abuse.

That his Jupiter is in the 10th, all be it intercepted, has a lot of pluses and one big shortcomming - on the good side, he has alot of potential to do well in life and be successful and happy. Also, his Jupiter trrines his Sun, which will help him a lot on his path in life. And on the bad side, if life doesn't turn out has he hoped, he could be vulnerable to depression and discouragement. And this is a concern since he'll inclined with that Libra moon to want everything to turn out peachy. He'll need to learn to be realistic and that the bad times pass eventually.

Lastly, I'm sure he has his own charm - his moon is in the 5th and his ASC in Gem. He probably is very friendly when in better moods, and a real delight to be around. He'll probably be rather charismatic and attractive, and draw people to him, even though he will have he moments where he needs to be by himself.

Oh one last thing: Is he left handed by chance?

Mars and Mercury in mutable signs, that's why I ask.

Hey Gemini Nymph, thanks so much for your report, it was amazing, and I felt it summed up our son son well. No he isnt left handed but was until he was 4 years or so! He is very artistic, sensitive, doesn't make friends easily, needs harmony big time, but doesnt always create it, is very lippy and pushes us to the limit almost every day. Yes I agree with all you said, I feel he is very ahead of himself somehow, and I can see the danger of him taking a walk down the wild side when he is older if life gets on top of him. Thanks again, you helped loads, some of it hard to read, but of course necessary - love to you Sue xxx

This child is almost certainly Indigo. Look up references on the web to help you understand him. I particularly like www.indigochild.com and www.groups.msn.com/HigerVibrations. The latter group is owned by a teen who is living out the changes in humanity exemplified by the Indigo and Crystal children.

Gemini Nymph -

That was so nice of you - to help Sue G out. Must have taken you a long time.

It is hard being a mother - especially when things aren't going so great. At one point, worrying about son, I was actually in bed waiting for a heart attack. It was only a racing heartbeat brought on by stress. I laugh about it now. Kinda.

I found astrology to be comforting through tough times with my son. Sort of like - it wasn't my fault and that I could only do so much to help the situation. It was just the way my son was at the time - chart, genetics, whatever. It helped.

Really, though, kids can be pretty resilient. Your son has his whole life ahead of him to adjust, change, adapt, and to grow. He will learn along the way (with less help from you than you think necessary).

My scorp son sunk to a pretty low place. Then, just like scorps are described, he lifted himself up and just flew. It was like a miracle. I didn't have that much to do with it.
