I think I've got what's considered a 'bowl' chart, but I'm not sure. If I'm wrong, please correct me, and tell what the shape of my birth chart really is. Here's my chart: http://rep.astrology.com/free/7966/4976/gif1.html Thanks!

oh gosh, almost an angel, i think you may have a locomotive chart like mine, but i could be wrong. a locomotive chart occurs when about 1/3 of the chart is empty (and yours is, i think: the 1st - though your 1st does have the POF...dont think this counts though, 6th, 7th and 8th houses are empty). http://www.bobmarksastrologer.com/locomotive.html though marks mentions that 1/3 of the chart is supposed to empty by SIGN, not by house, so i may be wrong about this. i have always been a tad confused about chart shapes. i just counted up your signs and found that your 10 main planets (sun through pluto) are in 6 different signs of the zodiac, which occupy one half the zodiac, just like in a bowl chart (according to marks) like you thought. so i think you're right, you have a bowl chart. http://www.bobmarksastrologer.com/Bowl.htm hope this helps in some way.

see, im confused, because i just was thinking about this a little further, and i realized you and i have something similar going on but in reverse:in your chart, you have planets in 2/3 of the circle by house (1/3 of it is empty), but by sign you have planets in 1/2 of the circle - the 10 planets are in 6 of the 12 zodiac signs in your chart. in my chart, i have planets in 1/2 of the circle by house (i have planets in the 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 8th and 12th houses), but by sign i have 2/3 of the circle - the 10 planets are in 8 of the 12 zodiac signs. a locomotive chart is one in which 1/3 of the circle is empty, and a bowl chart is one in which 1/2 of the circle is empty, but i am confused about how to count it, by house or by sign. maybe someone can clarify for us. -chrissy IP: Logged |

Hi there Almost An Angel, I just wanted to say I am a beginner in astrology so I do not know much, but.... I was looking at your chart and i noticed that we have all of the same planets except that you have a gemini moon and i have a virgo moon. I thought it was quite interesting since I don't know anyone with the same planets as me. I was born on May 19, which is close to your b-day and we were born in the same year. Well, that is all. lol. Cool Stuff. I want to e-mail you something if you would like to you can leave your e-mail address here. ~Take CareIP: Logged |
