All is well over here...just keeping super busy....thanks for the Hello! Good thing I popped in the forum today...have been soooo busy that I haven't checked in as much!

I have been wondering about you and hoping that you are getting back to your dreamy fishy self....post-Ms. Pisces.

How are you feeling these days?

Are you recovering in a healthy way? Any other cute fishies swimming by or are you just relaxing and 'getting back your stroke'?

I have heard that the 'Weather-Masters' that be are predicting same pattern hurricanes for the next 15-20 years! Aaarghhhhh....

I'm doing okay thanks. Not swimming with any other fish at the mo but hey, who knows!

Think I've just worked it all out!!! (Well maybe not) seeing that I have so many planets in my twelf (love that) house, maybe thats what causes probs in any intimate relationship, if the other persons planet makes a contact with any of mine???

Oh I don't know, it's far too early to be babbling on randomly (drifts off in his own little world) ha...

BTW, it's pouring down over here. It's ten past seeven in the morning, and wet ARGHH

Raining huh?? Does it ever NOT rain in merry ol' England? LOL!!

It is BEAUTIFUL here in Florida...in the early 70s and quite lovely...this weekend I will be spending some time with one of my best friends and her sister at a fancy beach resort in nearby Naples...should be lots of fun! Nothing like a little pampering to keep the blues away!! (My Venus in Taurus LOVES it! Needs it!! Wants it!!!) Ha,ha...

What is on your schedule my dear?

In synastry, you WANT someone else's planets to touch yours...otherwise, how dull. Why not spend some time learning about your mysteries in your 12th house...find some areas to work on for the next gal you sweep off her feet!!?? Or do you have it all figured out?

Lately in astrology I have been exploring mid-points and learning so much...quite fascinating information! Have you ever looked into mid-points before?

almost caught me off guard there Yeah, I have been checking out the twelfth house stuff but always seem to come up with poo stuff! - not too good, having Venus in the twelfth opposed to Pluto seems to be a real downer, time and time again, so not planning to swim frantically into any new ponds for a while! always seem to attract needy, desperate types? only for them to become the comlete opposite and turn out to be spiteful deceptive types?? so not nice, but hey ho. Must be something in me? anyways - Ha, you wont believe this but it hailed here yesterday (completely changing the topic!) so heavily that within about ten minutes there was over three inches (70mm)for those of you watching in metric!) of the stuff covering everything. Daft thing was, less than 1/4 of a mile away, there was not a drop ?? really cool, I was driving down the road with a carpet of white sleaty, hail all over the car (automobile for you yanks!! ha ha ha LOL) and everyone was staring at me, obviously thinking, where on eearth have you come from, because there was no hail anywhere else or on any other cars?? one of those had to be there things, I guess

What question did I answer for you on what thread?? I am not sure what you were referring to..was it our usual 'psychic' link popping up between us? Was it a question on mid-points or 12th house planets??

The Venus in 12th opposed to your Pluto sounds problematic. Your Pisces nature likes to draw in the 'helpless' types...before they transform and their veil is dropped-deception revealed!!!

Maybe work on the rose-colored glasses thing for a bit...refining-not your ideals-but your psychic ablities to ferret out the imposters...concentrating more on what YOU desire and feel is important to you....and sticking to that plan....I guess this should also include what attributes you don't want as well...you really must pay attention to these details as well you know!

Must run...the sun took it out of me today....Zzzzzzzz (sleepy)

PS-the hail sounds dreadful! Can't it dent your car?? And BTW-the word automobile is rarely if ever used here...LOL..."wheels" is a more popular term amongst the younger peeps! Car is the usual though...ha,ha...

you seem to have hit the nail on the head once again, thing is. Having studied the empheris quite a bit, I seem to be in a bit of a no win situation !! (excuse the pun) because it would seem that unless someone is going to be a good bit older, or equally younger than I, their pluto is going to be opposed to either my Sun or Venus which can be a real bind - oh well,

Didn't see your other thread....whoa! Weird.

Well...here is my suggestion...rather than look at the proposed doom and gloom of the opposition of Venus to the other planets...why not consider that these opposition placements are what is NEEDED to stimulate your Venus! Think more in terms of not a negative stance, more like a 'triggering' effect...what do you think?

Maybe you can only really be excited about someone if this opposition is 'activated'! Get it?? Otherwise, it just doesn't feel right to you...and try not to look at it as a 'bad' connection...it is just a connection. Period.

Let go of the 'difficult' idea with your own Ven opp Pluto and think of it more as a way you are stimulated to act on 'love'. The difficulties of transformation through Love may be the path that ultimately helps you thrive and develop into your full self!

Now...what do you think of that my dear??!!

Yes, it is hard to forget those nasty little devils of hurricanes!! So exciting...yet so exhausting...the anticipation of mass destruction...the pain of no A/C and even less ice...the thrill of lights 'on' again...only to turn around and prepare for the next thrashing from a new visitor...what fun! (Whew...I am wiped out just reviving those memories...who knew Florida could be so thrilling and action-packed!??)

Well, whatever the case with this Ven-opp-Pluto stuff, it's a bit frustrating at times. This may sound strange but, if I look at someones chart and note their pluto conjunct or very near mine, in Virgo; I know straight away that no matter how fun and wonderful things may be at the time, guaranteed, things are destined to turn sour. Odd eh. Hasn't failed yet!!!!

OK-Italian lesson number one-goodbye is spelled: ciao. There is no ch...the ci in Italian is pronouced with a 'ch' sound...

That's the extent of my limited Italian!! LOL!!...I couldn't stand knowing my viper was out in the world without this teeny correction....

Well then, I think you should re-consider the activations of the Venus in your 12th. Become more comfortable with 'how' it is activated...in other words, understanding that if you natally have the Ven-opp-Plu aspect, then it will be activated each time your Venus OR Pluto is touched...learn to handle that energy in a positive and transforming way. I see this as really the only path to harnessing this in your life. The more you understand it, the better you will feel as it manifests thoughout your relationships.

Keep in mind...there are a lot of 'frogs' to kiss out there...or is it 'ugly step-sisters' for guys?? LOL....it takes time to find the best person for you...nothing to be hasty about!! *as she dashes off to call her prince*

Do you think of yourself as emotionally strong, if so then you would find it hard to love someone as demanding, you would prefer a more passive partner. If you are looking for an ideal partner, and that person is passive it can get messy when you try to explore your feelings.

Just a shot in the dark here. If you do not like the pluto/venus conjunction, you are shying away from dominate partners, even though you need a partner who is emotionally strong and expressive. The balance is to become stronger emotionally yourself, take on more in the relationship.

Physically and emotionally challenging situations are rewarding for Venus/12th house. If there is no challenge there is no room to grow and assert yourself. The goal is to find challenging relationships with people who can face their own emotions and problems. They are not going to be perfect but are willing to work on their imperfections through you. They can either keep using you in other words or abandon the relationship.

Needy desperate types, are emotionally blocked, but some are willing to work on their problems, the more you work together, the less needy your new relationships will see, because you can weed out the ones who are willing to work, versus the ones who are acting.

It's a gift you have if needy ones are attracted to you, the challenge is getting appreciated for it, and working through each issue slowly.

The best gauge of a person's emotional strength is their capacity to wait. If someone is pushing you for help now, that is not a good sign. Even the most emotionally challenged person can be a wonderful friend and companion, if he or she is willing to be tenacious and give you time.
That shows genuine concern.

Hi Natasha. Thanks for the input. I wasn't meaning someones Pluto conjunct my venus, I was meaning someones Pluto conjunct my Pluto, which would make their Pluto then opposed my Venus.

I was with someone a while ago now, couple of years back. Very deep relationship, lasted about 6 years.
Her Venus conjunct my Pluto - very nice position. Which made her venus opposed to my Venus. Her Pluto also conjunct my Pluto, which also made it opposed my Venus. Not so very nice position. Follow so far? Have to admit, phenominal relationship. Very deep with seriously deep sexual undertones (Pluto) serious attraction from both sides, lots of 'I Love You's' (Venus) screamed at one another through closed doors etc... etc... (Pluto) Very karmic stuff going on and all that. we both explored very deep issues about ourselves and the universe. It was all very intense (Pluto) but eventually just became too overpowering, hence, it WAS a relationship! and we went our seperate ways.

I especially liked your last paragraph, very eloquently and informativly written.

Glad you picked up on my sarcasm there. Last year was nothing less than a complete nightmare ESPECIALLY for the entire state of Florida, but not excluding, those west of the panhandle...

All systems come to a halt, your comfy & recognizable schedule is shot. You turn into a primal animal who simply needs shelter, food & water, but damned because you also know you cannot live without gas, electricity & cable TV!!! Damn it all!!!

But really, I think the MOST profound thoughts in my head have to do with the CONSTANT wonderment at how the natives of our land dealt with hurricanes without the luxury of knowing whether it's an oncoming hurricane, or a simple storm. Living in houses made of palm trees ... etc. Just the sheer survival aspect of it all gives me a whole'nother respect for the human race.

I'm SURE they really paid a lot more attention to the cues from nature, especially the behavior of animals, insects, birds, etc. That is SUPER cool to me. I love to ponder on that for hours.
