Perfect timing!! At a time in my life where I'm actually looking to get married and settle down, comes these stinking transits. How detrimental is it to have the following on ones wedding day? Has anyone been married under such transits ??? *Transiting URANUS SQUARE ASC/ DC/ 7 TH HOUSE CUSP (until early 2006) *Transiting PLUTO CONJUNCT VENUS/NEPTUNE IN 7 TH HOUSE (until the end of 2006) *Transiting URANUS CONJUNCT MOON, AND SQUARE VENUS IN 7 TH HOUSE (from late 2006 till early 2008) Are positive transits enough to nullify the effects of negative ones, so that I can get married during this time and have a long lasting marriage? For instance, I have the following coming up:
* Transiting VENUS CONJUNCT VENUS/NEP IN 7 TH HS (near end of 2006) *Transiting JUPITER CONJUNCT VENUS/NEP IN 7 TH HS (mid to late 2007) DayDreamer

Thanks astrojunkie, I've been meaning to bump it up myself, since I would like to get some more perspective on this.Starting to think (again) that maybe I should hold off for a wee bit more...like until after my Saturn return. I know I will have relationship/marriage problems until then. Especially cuz I have -5th hs Saturn -Saturn square venus/nepune 7th -Saturn opposite moon 11th how depressing... In the mean time I'm going to have to dedicate my mind and energies to learning, and helping others to learn. I will be teaching for the next few years, came to this decision last year, and just finished teaching school. And how fitting...I have some Chiron transits now. Transitting Chiron conjunct Capp Midheaven, and 10th hs Aqua Sun,Mars,Mercury for example. Wonder what will happen once this has all past. Maybe I will feel more comfortable with following my career dreams. IP: Logged |

Just remember not to leave your intuition out of this ...IP: Logged |

Aaagghh...my intuitions, they don't let me take risks or venture out of my comfort zone many a times. I think I know myself and my possibilities for the future too well. Scared to say that though cuz even though I have some control, I know I don't have ultimate control over my life and destination. IP: Logged |

Well, just remind yourself every now and then that none of us can totally know our future.IP: Logged |

Well if you're that concerned, you should really think about it though, it's okay to wait and just live together. You don't need a formal ritual to tell each other you love one another. The absolute best time to get married is through 2010-2012. At that time all of the outer planets will be making beautiful music together. But then again, get married, no planetery aspect should be a road block. I know that won't stop many couples, and most of them will be happily married.P.S. There was a Sultan in India who had to wait many years (I think 6 or more) before they got married, and perhaps if they didn't do that his love for her would never have built the Taj Mahal. -StarLover

Thanks for your advice StarLover ...Perhaps I could do that...but I'm odd I guess, esp for an aqua? I really do value the tradition of marriage and feel the need to have this ritual before moving in together to seal the bond. Odd again because the generation born with Pluto in Libra, like myself, have a mostly alternative view of relationships and marriage, and are reluctatant to get married. I want to live the married family life, with a husband and a football team and a nice home. I can be very very very patient with love, like the Sultan who built the Taj Mahal, unfortunately its not always like this with the other half of the partnership/relationship. P.S. How is 2010-2012 the best time for marriage?
